Hello !
I tried to root my Oukitel WP15 by following the magisk method
I downloaded the official rom of the oukitel WP15 on the official website and I patched it by my phone with the apk.
After that, I disabled the bootloader security and flashed the boot partition.
But after restating my phone, I'm currently blocked in a bootloop
Orange state
Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted
Your device will boot in 5 seconds
And my phone is no longer detected by adb nor fastboot
If someone have an idea ?
Thanks in advance,
try to restore boot and vbmeta via flashtool. it's saves me from red state (wp15 too).

If only my wp15 was detected by my computer. Since I got stuck on this boot loop my wp15 always reboot and is connected and disconnected again and again
adb and fastboot is not a pc. it must be detected by pc even when powered off. check in devices via device manager. if it exists - that's enough for flashing. install mtk usb-com drivers (by manual of flashtool) and flash it, but check only boot.img and vbmeta.img and do not use "format" only "download". after flashing it must be accessable via fastboot.
n.b. if it ask to remove battery:
- unplug your phone
- setup flash tool and click "download" button
- power off phone
- on unplugged phone, hold both volume buttons and hold power button too (three buttons at once).
- hold it all >15 seconds and ignore any phone activity, just hold.
- release power button only (keep holding both volumes)
- plug your phone (still keep holding both volumes)
- now flashing process must start and you may release any buttons.
p.s. of course I mean boot.img and vbmeta.img from original firmware, downloadable via vendors download center https://oukitel.com/pages/download-center (select wp15 manually)

discharging 15000 battery by boot loop? not sure if serious.
as I've remember, when I tried to shutdown my phone by holding power button while it was in red state, it would not power off, just rebooting. it goes power off when I tried to flash it via flashtool. it jus immediately powered off when I'd click "download" button in flashtool. so try it, then by manual from above. and when you would hold volumes and power - ignore any phone activity, even it would restart continuously. just hold >15 seconds (20 for sure), release power button and plug in pc. anyway, even if you could not power off it, just try to flash as I wrote before, just exclude "power off" point.
Hi, mates, I am a new Oukitel WP15 owner.

gsi installs flawlessly, but not all gsi are compatible. I use a phhusson's 11.0 v313 and it works fine enough.
also I know, what (at least) one man tried to use 12+ phhusson's builds and got fail. I'll suggest what it's some boot compatibility issue and will not work properly with otiginal oukitel boot of android 11.

Can you give more details about install? i can't find and flash a twrp. When i try to flash a random oukitel img recovery, it say "partition not found" and if i use the command to directly boot on recovery, the androids keeps boot loop
On my bv9100 work an oukitel k9 twrp img and i have on it GSI 18, Andy Yan version, i wanted to try on oukitel wp15 too but i can't flash anything, I still get the error partition
you do not need twrp or any similar. just upload gsi to fastbootD via fastboot command from adb tools.
I strongly recommend you to read about treble project and partition structure it really help in understanding of all of this. just english is not my first language and I'd not sure what I can explain all of this exactly and correctly. but ok, I'll try, but I'm not sure what this thread is correct place for this, I'll suggest to go here https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/oukitel-wp15.4402253/ seems it'll be a bit more right place.

No, deletion of threads/posts is avoided because it generates 404 errors. We lock (and void, if needed) them instead.

Hey ladies and gentlemen,
I am having a serious problem. I tried to root my Honor 6 (H60-L04). After installing Super User via TWRP my smartphone started a bootloop. After I waited a few hours it turned off and I tried to reload it for booting into the download mode (to flash a new firmware via Honor MultiTool). But it still showed me that there is an empty battery and didn't start. How can I unbrick it?
Thanks

do u have solution for this??
To install a full stock firmware follow these steps, if the phone is not booting in bootloader mode try doing this: After a loop gets complete, quickly press Vol UP button and connect the phone to PC, you'll be in bootloader mode.
Download your latest firmware and extract system.img, boot.img, recovery.img, cust.img from UPDATE.APP using Huawei Update Extractor tool.
Flash recovery first, using this command.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Flash all other extracted files similarly firing these commands.
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash cust cust.img
fastboot flash system system.img
After doing this put that very UPDATE.APP from which you extracted the files in dload folder of your external SDCARD.
Switch off your phone, and press Vol UP + Vol DOWN + Power button simultaneously.
Your device will now get to the full stock firmware.
I had a similar problem with mine when updating to EMUI 4. What I did was:
- Hold Volume Down while rebooting and Connect USB. It should boot into Bootload mode.
- If you get the Error Screen, reboot the Phone.
- If it doesn't work, hold all three buttons. It should reset the phone.
This actually reset my phone and made it work again. Don't ask me why or how.
You should Unbrick with Honor Multitool. You get to still have your data intact when you do only the first step without the 3 button install. If you don't have a TWRP backup that is. Don't ever install SU or root from TWRP. Use KingRoot or Multitool

If the device is rooted then you'll get install failed when doing three button reset, hence the manual flashing is needed.
The three button reset also fails, if in anyway your system is modified.

Well, my system was modified, and after doing that Three-Button reset twice, it actually worked.
Don't ask me why, it just worked. And I'm actually glad it did haha.

Yes, sometimes Android does things which we can't understand(or maybe we don't have enough knowledge), so its easy to just accept the outcome and enjoy..!!
Hi,
I was trying to flash TWRP, but now I am stuck with flashing TWRP logo after rebooting or powering the phone on.
I am unable to get to the fastboot.
STEPS I did before brick:
1. unlocked OEM via official way
2. flashed TWRP
3. after that my phone was reset however most of the apps was missing, I was trying to do factory reset once again but it failed with the message "Data partition was heavily damaged"
4. I re-locked EOM
5. brick as mentioned above
Please help, I have the phone only two weeks and I have no idea how to fix this without fastboot.
Thank you.

Sounds like you flashed the 3030 version of TWRP. Download the 3020 version and put it in your fastboot folder. Plug in the USB to PC
Hold power and volume up untill the phone reboots. While it's still off immediately change to power and volume down and hold till it goes into fastboot (bootloader)
Now fastboot flash recovery TWRP.img
With the 3020 version.
Unplug the USB and hold power and volume up until it says the phone is booting.. let go and TWRP will load.
Go to Wipe / format data / type yes
Reboot to system and your all set

So I've tried that but the phone is still booting to recovery (flashing TWRP logo) no matter what.
Basically the phone is always on now because if hold the power button (or any other combination) for a few second it will just reboot back.
I have an access only to ADB, but I am not able to boot to bootloader at all, it seems the bootloader is damaged somehow.
Also that warning about unlocked OEM doesn't have that text saying "hold volume up to boot to recovery" etc. like before brick.
Hi there,
Try using the Huawei Multi Tool with the Unbrick option : https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/development/tool-huawei-multi-tool-team-mt-t3523923
Speaking from experience, this little fellow helped me recover my phone when I bricked it ON DAY ONE after failed root attempt... (Derp)
Let me know if it helped you
(Leave a thanks if it did )
EDIT : This tool is also useful if you want to get lazy whilst rooting. I use it constantly when flashing diffrent bits and pieces
Clearly follow My steps To unbrick and get normal device ::
Step 1 ::
Download the full firmware of your device.
Step 2 :
make sure that your bootloader is in unlocking state
Follow the video blindly ::: https://youtu.be/OMKDnBqbi3U?list=PL...eT9J26lkefvVkK
don't panic of mobile.
Step 3 :: done ..enjoy u did it
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you bricked on nougat then follow the below steps
step one :::
download the downgrade package to mm .
then extract the zip and open the update.app using HuaweiUpdateextrator in that select recovery and extract
1.now, boot your device into fastboot and flash the recovery (Optional)(try this if it said incompatible version on recovery)
2. on your sd card and make a folder "dload" . and copy the update.app which we have extracted earlier
3.the switch off the device and press all three buttons you will be reboot into recovery and done . you device will be okey

Booting to the bootloader is just a timing issue
Phone must be hooked to PC with USB
And volume up and power till it goes black
Then immediately volume down and power and Hold untill the bootloader loads
Keep trying until you get it

I also can use "adb reboot bootloader", but it will reboot again to stuck recovery.

I've tried that, but I am still stuck as that tool is using fastboot as every other tool to flash .img files.
Thank you for the tip though.
Plug phone into computer with USB, then hold down power + volume down until it eventually boots into bootloader. I had the same scenario as you and that's how I got into the bootloader. You can flash either a good TWRP or the stock recovery, either one will work.
Hi,
I flashed a wrong boot.img via fastboot, and done reboot.
Now the phone stuck in bootloop with no screen at all. no mi logo, just black screen (vibrate when it try to boot).
- Phone is Xiaomi Redmi 6, battery is not removable.
- Can't enter to fastboot mode (not either to TWRP recovery).
- Can't even turn the phone off (tried with pow + vol-up + vol-down, but didn't work).
- PC not recognize the phone (included miFlash and spFlashtool).
I have an unlocked bootloader if it make any different to this situation.
Please help :crying:
Thanks.
If need more details I would like to give it.

Connect phone while holding the volume down button. Keep holding button. The phone is bootlooping, so it may eventually catch in preloader and get flashed.

Thanks, but I'm get the same error, STATUS_BROM_CMD_FAIL (0xC0060005)

folow these steps
the only way you flash your phone is by installing mtk (mediatek) drivers.
if you are using windows 10. Disable Driver Signature Enforcement
download MRT_V3.26
there you have MTK_driver.exe install it. than open folder MTK_CDC_Driver_for_imei right click on Android_Gadget_CDC_driver and install.
download Xiaomi_Flash_20181115.zip
and stable global fastboot rom V10.3.3.0.OCGMIXM
extract it
run mi flash and choose extracted folder, click refresh than flash.
THIS IS 100% TESTED by me.

Same problem, I'm trying right now with MiFlash as suggested by Tommy0412. The program detects the device and is in "flashing" from 500s to this moment. I'll let you know if it's working
Edit: Finished with "error: flash timout". I'm trying again, this time with very less hope. By the way my phone is a Redmi 9A (dandelion)
Edit 2: I fixed the problem without flashing (almost) anything. I used the Xiaomi ADB/Fastboot Tool (a simple .jar file) that allowed me to reboot in fastboot mode without doing anything strange. Then I flashed the correct recovery and everything is now back to normal. Thanks to whoever developed that java application. That saved my ass!

I flashed the official twrp-installer-3.3.1-3-guacamole.zip from fastboot twrp-3.3.1-3-guacamole.img and noticed I lost root. So i rebooted to recovery (now twrp is installed) and flashed magisk. Now my device is bricked. Power button does nothing, holding volume up + down for 5 seconds then plugging it in does not show the device as connected in MSM download tool. I know the tool works because I have used it before...
Any tips on what to do so that I can use MSM tool? Can you explain why this bricked my device?
When the phone is plugged in device manager shows it as Qualcomm HS-USB Diagnostics 900E (COM4)
But MSM tool only shows COM3 N/A
so you are able to boot to fastboot and recovery?
you may be trying to boot to the slot that does not have magisk installed, so see what Slot you are on and flash magisk, then change the slot to opposite and flash magisk again.
or boot to fast boot and flash the stock boot.img and try again.

When update comes out
1. Boot to twrp and flash full zip
2. Flash twrp installer
3. Reboot to twrp

5. Flash kernel
6. Boot to OS
xXx should survive update so no need to flash unless he provides an update or first install
Newbie here. Tried to download TWRP onto unrooted device (Galaxy Note10 Exynos d1) with Odin and now my phone is stuck on "downloading" screen. When I try to cancel (restart phone) it goes to the startup/booting screen for less than a second and then jumps back to "downloading". It says this at the top left corner of the screen:
recovery: Error validating footer (6) CUSTOM RECOVERY VBMETA N970F XXU1 ASG0. 24967245R
I am able to get into the custom OS installation screen (don't know what it's actually called but second picture) by letting the battery drain so that the phone turns off and then holding volume up + volume down key and plugging the phone into my laptop with USB.
The bootloader is unlocked. I went to https://twrp.me/samsung/samsunggalaxynote10.html and even there it says "Flashing TWRP without first flashing a vbmeta image with verity disabled will render your device unable to boot." Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

If it is unlocked, then flash the vbmeta file provided, then try to boot to recovery and perform a factory reset.

Maybe you missed some essential part of the process, by unlocking your device through the Download menu option your data has to be erased, it's recommendable after to unlock the bootloader, to reboot again to system and check once the UBS debugging and OEM unlock options if they remain fine, from there you should reboot to download mode again, uncheck the Auto-reboot option within Odin, flash the vbmeta.tar and then flash the TWRP, if all till here goes well you should reboot manually to TWRP by powering off completely, pressing the three buttons, and just now, pressing the volume up + PWR key buttons till your device boots to TWRP.

The screenshots you uploaded some months ago, are the download screen, you, successfully did boot to, download mode doesn't have a useful menu, it's just a mode, so you can flash some things, using Odin. To boot to, use the same way you did it previously, usually, doing it manually, or if you are rooted, you can use other ways too.
