Transfert apps and accounts to a new phone - General Questions and Answers

Hi,
I'm aware there is a simple way to reinstall the apps I have on my phone to a new one, using Google account.
But I have to enter credentials to every apps again... Is there a secure way to transfert accounts to new phone, so I don't have to enter every passwords in every apps?
Without root.
Thanks a lot

[Q] does android 2.2 cache your account type? app vs regular account

Been trying to get the android app chrome to phone to work on my phone. it says the it does not support google apps accounts, unless they have been transitioned over to the new system. My account has been transitioned. But chrome to phone still says it's an app account.
I tried removing chrome to phone and reinstalling it - no effect.
As i test i decided to do a full factory wipe and then add my account back to the phone and install chrome to phone, and it worked! So i'm wondering if when i added my account previously (before it was transitioned) if something on the phone is still flagging it as an app account? i tried to remove the account so i could add it back in, but it wont let me saying certain apps use the account (would be nice if it said which apps) and instead says i need to a factory wipe.
I really don't wont to do a full wipe of the phone just to install this one app.
Anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this without a full wipe?

Market query - copilot deactivation

Problem
I deactivated co-pilot when I changed phone. Worked fine on the new phone for months. Suddenly it refuses and told me it was activated on another device - presumably the old phone.
I gave that phone to a friend so I can access it. Presumably I need to download copilot and deactivate on it.
However
How do I make the old phone enter the market as me? That's from the Google ID? So do I just delete his gmail account and substitute mine? Does GMail hold the ID or is it some different log in? Or do I delete the market app and reinstall? But I thought it was undeleteable?
Quick summary - need to access market on old phone using my google identity to deactivate copilot
To answer my own question if any of you suffer it
The new android market allows multiple accounts, so with luck I can get the old phone, enter my google account, download copilot, enter the key and deactivate it.

Prevent Initial Sync when adding Google Account

So back in October, my wife and I both purchased the Note 5. We started using Google Photos, and I found a way to add both of our google accounts to each others phones so we could share our photos instantly. I had a problem adding her account to my phone, as it would sync everything (contacts, calendar, health data, etc.) immediately, but this did not happen when adding my account to her phone. I messed around with it for some time, and found an option that was not the same on both of our phones. (I think it was the backup account, but can't remember for sure). Whenever I disabled the option, whatever it is, on my phone, it allowed me to add her account without initially syncing. Keep in mind, my method for doing this on both phone was as follows every time I tried it.
1. Turn off Global Auto Sync
2. Add alternate account
3. Turn Off Mobile Data and WiFi so the phone was not online
4. Turn Auto Sync back on
5. Settings>Accounts>Google>(other account) and turn off Auto Sync on everything except Photos (Gmail in the case below)
6. Turn On Mobile Data and WiFi
Kerblam! Success.
However, I am trying to accomplish the same thing with another google account I have an alternate use for, but only want the gmail to sync. But no matter what I try, every time I add the account, it initially syncs everything. (I know this because next to every category, it says "Last Synced on MM/DD/YYY hh:mm) And obviously, all of my other account contacts, calendar data, etc. appear. I don't want to take the chance of just manually deleting everything after turning off the sync for each item in case the sync gets turned back on after some update or somethings, and it syncs the account with the phone and I lose everything. Has anyone had success doing this? I've been scouring the web for quite some time now with no luck. Neither Google or Samsung were of any help. Thanks in advance for any help : )

Click to collapse
That is the security feature. What if you are not the owner and you are trying to put your hands over others phone. May be you can try clicking help me finding my account option on the screen.

Help switching primary Android account

Hi,
My current Google account for my Android phone is an old Gmail address that I haven't used in over 10 years. I've had a newer account all this time. But every time I buy a new phone, I'm forced to have to enter the old account in order to transfer the backups across from the previous phone. So then it becomes the primary account on that phone too. And the next phone, and the next.
I'm sick of it, and just want to be rid of that dumb old account, and use my current Google account instead.
The problem is that if I try to remove it in settings, I get a threatening warning message. I've been researching online, but I'm not really sure what it entails. Will I lose all my data? All my apps? Will I have to completely set my phone up again from scratch, repurchase all my apps and configure them again, and lose all my saved app data? What about my SMSs? And if so, why? Why do we have to be stuck with our entire phone running off a really old dumb account that we don't use anymore?
Is there any way around this? Thanks in advance,
