Vivo S1 stuck on bootloop - General Questions and Answers

My brother has Vivo S1 phone. All of a sudden it powered off even though the battery was decently charged. After starting the phone, the Vivo logo appears and nothing happens.
I downloaded the zip file from the following page.
S1 Funtouch OS PD1913F_EX_A_9.72.26 System Update | vivo India
Download S1 Funtouch OS PD1913F_EX_A_9.72.26 (2023-01-16, 3481.6). Learn more about how to download and update by official tutorials and tools.

When I try to update the phone in the recovery mode using this file (stored on the SD card), I get the following error.
"Failed to install update package. Failed to install due to damaged data. Restart your phone and download the latest version to repair."
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
If I try to restart the phone and do the same process, I get the same error. I also ran "check system" scan in the recovery mode and it completed fine without showing any errors or whatsoever.
I also tried putting the zip file on a new formatted SD card and installing it in the recovery mode but I face the same issue. Please help.

CUBOT C9 [SC6820] Firmware Error (Help please)

I followed the instructions to flash the CUBOT C9 (SP6820) since I restarted the phone and off every so often.
I got the firmware CUBOT website , is a .pac file called "20130128_C910_JF_H369X_CK_V01.pac".
By using the software of Spreadtrum (ResearchDownload) to flash my phone and follow your instructions I get error: Failed : Operation Failed.
But I noticed that those files ".pac" are to a temporary folder and saw this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
So when clicking on the second button ResearchDownload, clear (uncheck) the file "nvitem10_ljj.bin". I clicked "OK "
This time I tried to have if this time if he made the flashed. Indeed this time it flashed, he appeared: Passed.
But when the phone screen is blank.
I think the file "nvitem10_ljj.bin" has a bug that can not flash on my device and I think that file is linked to the screen.
Does anyone could help me solve this problem please? ResearchDownload Did flashed normally but the screen goes blank , but the phone does work, you can hear the buttons, etc. The problem is that I can not see anything.
Help me please.
Please help
Please help me to recover my phone. If I can help I can pay a little money by PayPal.

[Q] Need Original Firmware For Toshiba Excite 10 (AT300)

I have an Excite 10 (AT300) that gets stuck in the boot process on the "fireworks" screen...
I am thinking that re-installing the firmware will fix the problem..
I downloaded an 8mg update, but when I try to install it, it says VERIFICATION FAILED.. So I am thinking that I need the original firmware, instead of just an update..
Does anyone know where I can find such a critter??
I DID find a thread that had an update package that was considerably larger than the first one I tried..
163022_14.28.56.TC10213200A.zip
I put that on the SD card and then tried to install it thru the recovery process..
The verification passed, but then I got this error:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
This seems to indicate to me that the verification is good on that file, but something happens in the update process...
I have tried about 5 different files from the http://bds.updates.toshiba.com/Downloads/Production/tais/2012/ location and all give me the same ASSET FAILED error..
This leads me to believe that something is REALLY hosed with this AT300..
I have done a complete data wipe/reset...
At a loss as to how to proceed?? I don't want to write this tablet off if there is a chance of bringing it back to life..
Any hints, tips or advice would be most appreciated..
Is there a way to get a listing of that link's directory and see what other firmwares might be available for download??

All OTA updates fail at 5%

FRD-L04, B392, rooted w/ Magisk v16.0
I go to the system updates tab in settings, download the update (B395, but pushing updates from Firmware Finder has the same effect) and tap update. It goes to the EMUI recovery mode (used to have TWRP, replaced it for updating purposes), and almost immediately goes to 5%, where it stops and says "Software install failed" with "Failed to check the update files. Please download the update again." I then reboot, EMUI usually complains about a failed update and prompts me to do it again, and if I try to do so the process repeats.
This issue has existed for a while now and I just haven't really cared enough to fix it, but with Oreo starting to come out, I'd very much like to be able to actually receive the update. If anyone has any ideas, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Not my phone or my picture, but this is the same screen I get (source of this image is from a different context):

Honor 6 x reboot loop

Here is the screen I get with 3 options.

When I select option 1 , phone reboots 3 times and comes to this screen again.
When I select option 2 , it connects to wifi, download a package and at the end says verification failed.
How can I make this phone work again?
Thanks for any help.

HI,
My phone just restarted and came to this loop. I didn't do an update or anything before it happened.
Model : BLN-L21
I looked for a solution for my problem.
And it looks like i have to install the official firmware again . So far i understood that I can download the full firmware to a sd card and install it.
Is this the correct way to do this?

Question NEED HELP! Stuck in download mode

Hi guys,

Assuming you're using a Windows PC and Odin.
Run Odin as administrator.
You'll need the exact OEM Samsung firmware for your device. Good thing you included the variant code of your firmware in your original post.
Here is one place you can find the file to download https://www.galaxyfirmware.com/model/SM-A127F/
After downloading, extract the zip. A few "tar.md5" files will be inside.
Using instructions from here, flash the original firmware onto your phone.
After reboot, the phone might restart a few times and launch into recovery. If it does, then select "format data" in recovery and reboot.
Phone should be back to factory ready for you to brick again.
Also if you want to try rooting again use patched magsisk
