[Q] Need Original Firmware For Toshiba Excite 10 (AT300) - General Questions and Answers

I have an Excite 10 (AT300) that gets stuck in the boot process on the "fireworks" screen...
I am thinking that re-installing the firmware will fix the problem..
I downloaded an 8mg update, but when I try to install it, it says VERIFICATION FAILED.. So I am thinking that I need the original firmware, instead of just an update..
Does anyone know where I can find such a critter??
I DID find a thread that had an update package that was considerably larger than the first one I tried..
163022_14.28.56.TC10213200A.zip
I put that on the SD card and then tried to install it thru the recovery process..
The verification passed, but then I got this error:

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
This seems to indicate to me that the verification is good on that file, but something happens in the update process...
I have tried about 5 different files from the http://bds.updates.toshiba.com/Downloads/Production/tais/2012/ location and all give me the same ASSET FAILED error..
This leads me to believe that something is REALLY hosed with this AT300..
I have done a complete data wipe/reset...
At a loss as to how to proceed?? I don't want to write this tablet off if there is a chance of bringing it back to life..
Any hints, tips or advice would be most appreciated..

Is there a way to get a listing of that link's directory and see what other firmwares might be available for download??

CUBOT C9 [SC6820] Firmware Error (Help please)

I followed the instructions to flash the CUBOT C9 (SP6820) since I restarted the phone and off every so often.
I got the firmware CUBOT website , is a .pac file called "20130128_C910_JF_H369X_CK_V01.pac".
By using the software of Spreadtrum (ResearchDownload) to flash my phone and follow your instructions I get error: Failed : Operation Failed.
But I noticed that those files ".pac" are to a temporary folder and saw this:

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
So when clicking on the second button ResearchDownload, clear (uncheck) the file "nvitem10_ljj.bin". I clicked "OK "
This time I tried to have if this time if he made the flashed. Indeed this time it flashed, he appeared: Passed.
But when the phone screen is blank.
I think the file "nvitem10_ljj.bin" has a bug that can not flash on my device and I think that file is linked to the screen.
Does anyone could help me solve this problem please? ResearchDownload Did flashed normally but the screen goes blank , but the phone does work, you can hear the buttons, etc. The problem is that I can not see anything.
Help me please.
Please help
Please help me to recover my phone. If I can help I can pay a little money by PayPal.

Question Resigning joying firmware

Hi i have a joying intel sofia unit and i installed a custom rom on it but cannot access recovery so have tried reloading joying firmware but have been stopped by the whole file system verification fails and signature verification failed errors so i have tried to resign the 5009_60 folder with test keys using the signapk app from this site it says it has completed but i am still getting the same error or a footer is missing error can anyone explain how i make a test keys flashable zip which will install so i can get my head unit working again or does anyone happen to have it as the links are currently dead any help would be much appriciated
You will never be able to resign the firmware. That is the exact goal of sigining your software before release. So that someone else can't hack your software and distribute all kind of malware and viruses, etcetera.
Try to get the custom apk for the GTX rom and reflash the original recovery
I cant access android to be able to install it

This rom seems to be the fix as everyone with same issue has used this to fix it but all the links are dead

Question HELP PLEASE

I tried updating my phone manually with a batch file, using the official retail g100 rom, but it wouldn't finish the installation and now my phone is bricked
I updated it several times before using this method but it never gave me any issues until now
is there another way to install the official rom without losing any data or is it better to just switch to a custom rom, and if so, how do I go about doing it?
I'd really appreciate if you guys could help me asap
Can you access fastboot/bootloader mode?
yes
Did you use an old batch file or create a new one for the updated firmware?
If you are using an old one, chuck it and make a new one from the recent firmware. Possibly theres an extra sparse image part in there, that the old batch file isnt flashing.
I tried with a batch file from the previous version and then I created a new batch file but it still didn't work

I managed to install the servicefile.xml
