Ios-like system animations for miui 8.1.1.0 by @mivv found here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=69603304&postcount=899
its inho the most stable version, and provides wwhat i need dtw, but no dash (with mono kernal)
and i playd around with some animations and i really like the ios like animations. here is a little video demo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1ir3Kb1gyc and a little howto video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwxWivwSiw0
1. download framework-res.apk from from attachment in this post or from here http://www.mediafire.com/file/dkc5cg955h644k6/framework-res.apk
2. use any root explorer and replace framework-res.apk located in /system/framework/framework-res.apk
3. set permissions to rw-r-r
4. reboot into recovery and wipe cache, and dalivik cache and then reboot into system
5. done
only tested on @mivv miui v8 8.1.1.0 build from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=69603304&postcount=899
thanks to @mivv for his great work on this rom.
if anyone of the miuiers here want me to make this animations for their miui version , just pull your framework-res via abd with this command
Code:
adb pull /system/framework/framework-res.apk
and link it to me and i will incooperate it for your device and/or miui version.
I am not able to change the permissions of the file. I have tried many things including root browser, changing system folder to rw in root explorer of es file explorer (which is not happening), tried through commands to change system folder to rw. It says "mount: read only file system"
PS: My device is not encrypted
Does it work on xiaomi mi 5s?
Great work... ?
Hello. I have redmi note 3 PRO with MIUI 8.2.1.0 by xiaomi.eu. Is it possible to make this mod for this? Here is my framework-res.apk
Thank you
Will this work in OnePlus 3T Oos 4.1?
Wow! That looks nice. Was going to ask if this could be achieved on Lineage? Or it is a MIUI thing?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=814072 this is how I changed the animations , it should work with any rom u can take the anim folder from mine open in 7zip . Change anim as described in the thread above.
Uhhh. Same thing could be done with premium version of miui tweaks. But that needs xposed so won't work with marshmallow

* Backup it that png files first

Tried but not working for me. After editing and overwriting the 3 png files ( as u said there should only 2 but i have 3) the camera dont even show any watermark. On rebooting or clear cach and force stoping camera app the default watermark again automatically get restored.

Hi there. The problem exists in stock ROM. I cant replace files in /system because of a lack of permission. I tried to install mod for a dual speaker which requires replacing a file in /system/vendor/etc but no way. I've been trying ADB and nothing. On Los problem doesn't exist but custom ROMs don't have a camera that can efficiently use our hardware (60 fps, eis, wide lens, macro, 48MP) even gcam ports and that's why I'm forced to stay in stock rom, at least for some time. Could someone kindly make some flashable .zip file that changes permissions on/system?
I have the same problem....
Hi to all, I've got a xt2041-3 stock rom, rooted with magisk and with twrp;
I'd like to change the bootlogo (to cover the warning advice), and the bootanimation (I hate the stock one).
All the info tell me to replace the bootanimation.Zip file, but i cannot find it in root/system/media (i see onli a wallpaper folder).
I've tried also to flash some bootanimation, le dialogue confirm the correct installation, but at the reboot nothing is changed....
OT: @Admin, it miss a moto g8 power folder in the motorola devices thread.
Bye to all!
I've found (i think) the correct path:
System/product/media where i finally can see the bootanimation.zip to replace, but i cannot change the permissions to operate on the file..
Anybody have an apk for a miui theme maker or editor? I mainly want to change the control centre colours.

It was relatively easy with the devices not having the A/B partitions, it was enough to recover a theme (MTZ) to modify the files and images.
Now with A/B partitions even by rooting you don't have access and the system remains Read,Write is not possible.
You can download a MTZ file, but on a stock rom you cannot install it, only Xiaomi Eu roms allow the import of an external theme.
