Just wondering if anyone else has tried to install the new launcher pro plus? It wont install on my X10. Does it require Android 2. XX? Id really like to give it a try based on the preview screen shots ive seen. Nice features. Anyone try this home launcher?

Something to do with it not being updated to support the newer Xposed framework that you need to make things work on Kit Kat.
Ah that sucks. Really wanna change the icons but stick to the ge launcher

I don't understand the appeal of the stock launcher. There are quite a few other apps that do everything it does x 10, like Nova or Apex Launchers. Have never seen an issue with lag or crashes with Nova and it's not difficult to add the Google Now stuff with the latest Google Search widgets and all that.
Ah I just much prefer how it is implemented, the Google now screen to the left is the only reason I favour it amongst other launchers. I've tried some of the widgets but they aren't the same :/

I actually don't like launchers that have too many options. The last thing I want to spend tons of time customizing is a launcher, and the stock launcher is simple, fast, and effective. Plus, I've gotten used to having Google Now right on the left panel much quicker than I thought I would. I don't like not having it on Apex or Nova.

are you using ART ?
Nope. I can get it to work using an older version of xposed framework but then none of the other modules work on the older version :/

Just kind of seems like a non issue since you've probably spent more time figuring out why Unicon isn't working than it would have to set up another launcher. You can set up Google Now to open a ton of different ways that are as fast or faster than saying, "OK, Google" and the launcher is only as much effort to set up as you feel like putting into it. No one forces you to play with all the Settings and you can import the desktop grid from most launchers. But, that's what makes people flock to Android: choices. To each their own, and all that. Unfortunately, this is just 1 particular issue that doesn't have a perfect answer to get everything you need without much effort or some sort of compromise. Either an older Xposed with not many other mods or a different launcher. There are ways to enable Google Now hotwords on other launchers and to even get it to work while screen is off, but it is a rather convoluted way to do it and if you don't want to spend 10 minutes setting up a new launcher, then I'm gonna assume it's too much bother to go that route if you are really set on a different icon set.
I never said time was an issue for me. Its just more convenient to have unicon working

Hey, I just got my OnePlus One today. I was using Flyme OS on Nexus 5. Really liked the lock app feature in that rom. Is there anything similar to that in OnePlus One?
Hello.
I have a question about themes, app just disappeared after last update on my Realme 5 pro.
Does anyone have this app backed up or something?
That was frequently used app and on the other side i am stuck with theme and icons that i previously set.
Thanks in advance!
it's useless anyway
only paid theme and all are ugly

Anyone tried Nova Launcher in 4a yet? Waiting for mine.

Works just fine for me too.

Imported my settings from a OnePlus phone and it setup everything on the 4a exactly as it was. No A10 gestures though, still.
Wallpapers ok? Easy fix, but my 5t is 1080x2560, going to the 4a 1080x2340. What seems odd is the 4a display looks taller (or same) and much narrower, than my 5t. Would have thought the opposite with that resolution.

Imported my nova settings that I have been using since Nexus 6p (P1->P2XL->P2->P3XL) and no issues whatsoever.

It was one of the first things I installed and it's working perfectly.
I like how it put back all my icons and folders exactly where I had them. When I reinstalled apps, they went to the correct spots, with the correct icon I had chosen.
FYI, I just got the Android 11 beta 3 on 4a and current Nova version doesn't stick as default launcher however if you sign up for Nova beta, that will stick as default launcher.
Mine still shows a 9/10 delivery, so a11 might be officially out by then... I'm on Nova beta, so should work.

Not supported, but works great? No one seems to have issues with it.

Man, there is one in every crowd, I guess. Yes, it works great. The only thing not working for me is turning scrolling wallpaper off. But, that might be an issue with an older live wallpaper and not Nova. Who cares if it is supported?

I do. Doesn't mean I won't try it and perhaps remain on Nova as it has been my go-to launcher for 5+ years on every Android device. That said, I place a high value on stability. Don't want to discover Nova crapped the bed after a routine 4a update. Hopefully official support from the developer is on the roadmap.
Not sure why you think it's not supported. PS description says it's good for all Android phones, up to Android 11 dp4.

I think maybe they were being sarcastic?

Installed - no issues other than those common to all Android 10 builds. Was transformative wrt device appeal. Not fond of native launcher but wanted to hang with it for awhile to assess the 4a in its native state. Still not sure I'm going to keep it. Unquestionably a great phone at the price point but not sure it's better than what I have now given personal usage.
