How can I replace Google Phone with Realme Dialer?
I try all apk of Realme UI 2.0 and 3.0 and I cand use it até 100%.
I want to change for Realme Dialer because it appears in incoming calls the name of company and in Google Phone dont appears.
And I think Realme Dialer os much more simple and less confusing.

You CANNOT remove google dialer. Uninstalling/disabling it through adb will result in no calls going from your phone.
You can install realme dialer as a 3rd party app and use it. Whenever you place calls from it, gdialer will first come up during your call.
Also, IMEI wont work and app will crash when u use realme dialer. IMEI only visible in gdialer, as of now.

Excellent explanation.
With de apk True Phone 2.0.17 I fix my problem. It's simple and show all the fields that I want in incoming calls windows. For exemple show company name.
I allready make in and out phone calls without issues.

Yeah, i had seen a guy tell how to use true phone apk and add some files in its folder to enable call recording, but when i installed the apk he had given me link of, it turned out to be a virus lol.

Do you know a phone which has Realme Dialer so that I can pull the apk from firmware?
I hope that it is not a odexed so that you can install it as a third party app and install as default dialer.

There are a website with all the versions of dialer from OPPO and Realme but when I install that versions all works but the Windows of incoming call is from Google phone and not from Realme Dialer.
Conclusion in Google Dialer Windows dont appears company name.
I bate Google dialer I preger my Realme dialer from my old X2 Pro blues 12/256.

realme dialers are available anywhere. thing is it is not a proper kind in ours.

I checked on Relame 3 pro with android 11 and this tutorial works. Now Realme dialer is default dialer on my phone.

i was talking to your post about removing google dialer using adb. it wont work. i have tried in my phone.
calls wont go if i remove it. have to keep it and then only use realme dialer.

Yes. I use apk call notes and work like a charm. You can select all the fields you want. I only choose company name.

nope, not available until MS release this OS from Isolated state.
Still no hope on WP8
AFAIK, only Samsung Gen 2 devices have call blocking feature. Personally I'm using it. But still no SMS blocking feature.

Its already available as Call Manager version 0.95, but the available version is in chinese, it works on all device that are Fully unlocked/Interop Unlocked.
I tried like many others "Call Manager 0.95", but it is in Chinese and for the moment we can not find a solution to make it accessible to everyone. So I go back on my proposal for an application to block unwanted messages sms or mms guy. Today there's Samsung Call Blocking XAP which is great for calls, it would be nice also an application for sms and mms. no idea?

It seems to be back to my HTC Touch Cruise with winmo 6.5, when I could block calls/sms!?!?!
But there's some more to translate...
Unfortunately there's only the possibility to clean the complete list, not only a single contact...

U can remove contact by pressing on it on the black list, and then choosing "delete" from the bottom bar.

When I installed the app, I thought that deleting a contact from the list would have worked in the same way when you remove an app from the list (keep touching the name and then chosing remove).
I kept touching the contact but nothing happened...
And If I press on it, the garbage can is grey and not selectable... Only save and cancel are available...

Works on HTC HD2 1st Gen but Not on Titan second Gen.

No chance for me. The application don't work on my HD7 with deepshing 7.8.
In fact, I can not even install the english version of the application. My phone HD7 note error during installation. Concerning the Chinese version, no probem but of course unusable because of language.
This is because u have uninstalled the previous version of this app from menu. There is a special option inside the application, which allows to remove it correctly from the memory. To resolve that problem:
1. Repair installation with that file: Call Manager Repair by Shreqg2.xap
2. Again install translated file from this thread (or from here: Call Manager 0.95 MOD EN by Shreqg2.xap)

I don't know if this is ok with you but please try editing the label of your contact to whatever you want to display.

i dont know if you have root? But you can install the google dialer app and framework and this is just the best dialer when it comes to showing information.
O dont have root.

What advantages and disadvantages does it have? I've tried searching the web but can't really get a decent answer, just a load of "I use it" and "I don't use it" without reasons. Thanks in advance.

There are some tiny differences that I can't even think of but nothing game changing. They both make phone calls and thats good enough for me lol.

Couple of advantages with Google Dialer are
1. Frequent updates through play store
2. Identifying unknown callers
I am not crazy about those two features, so I am content with stock dialer
Google Dialer is better - identify unkonwn callers and search for numbers in Google's online database, although it does not support call recording.

I'm looking for call recording, I already have call screening. thanks though.
The stock dialer works with my Visual Voicemail on T-Mobile and has built in call recording so I use that although Google Dialer gets more updates.

Anyone with suggestions for a call recorder, thought that may have had one built in (was amazed when Mate 20 Pro added that option from their Dialler) I think coloros 6 had one but doesn't appear to be in 7.1
I have the chinese version with native call recoreder function os7.1
Update: Cube ACR appears to work, to a point. Need to set it as Voice Recognition (software) and improve the clarity. Only issue with this is that outgoing recording is quite loud compared to incoming recording

Anyone know of a way to extract this and get it onto global device? Everything I've tried from play store has had issues of one thing or another. Cube ACR works but incoming volume is seriously too low, for example.

Mine is built in. Recorder is working.
I have, "call recorder S9"
from the app store works on my find x2 pro
and 10X zoom.

Giving it a try now (assuming it's named callU) but still very quiet on the incoming volume. Which settings are you using in the Recording section?

@amicom that's because of the region code, unconsenting call recording is illegal in Germany and some other European countries, thus such apps are being blocked depending on the region code. However changing the region code is easy, there is a guide for that in the guides section. You will not even need to install any additional apps, by changing region the built-in call recorder will become available automatically.
It's available on the Chinese model by default and as @Craphead says, certain regions.
I switched my European phone to Singapore (for multiple reasons, ColorOS 11, theme store, call recording, etc). Even if you do that it didn't show up right away for me, I had to go into the Recorder app first, allow permissions, then go back into the phone app and it was there. In the phone app look under settings > Call recording.

i am on singapore build and i dont have call recording premission on everything is enabled on recorder. go into the phone app and its not there

Hi, what version were you on when you switched to Singapore? I switched right after I got the phone, no option for call recording, then I upgraded to Android 11, still no option..
I wanted the call recording function so much, and would really appreciate it if you could provide more details.
I mean google's phone and messaging apps are not bad but OOS's app are better in my opinion. The call recording feature without telling the other person is really important for me as I have many conference calls and have to take notes from it. Also the messaging app is no much optimised for Indian region that it shows tickets and OTPs in a better format.
Please port the stock app from Oneplus 8!

But i need to let you know it's not functioning with bt headsets, so the recording is only active while using the phone. when calling handsfree your voice is not recorded.
i have been looking for a way if it could be possible to activate it without root, even with root its not clear to me if it will record the calls when using bt headset.

You can enable default call recorder - possibly in all countries. Check the screenshots.
This is an app for oneplus phones but not too sure if it will work with nord. But please try once.

I don't think it will coz we don't have Oxygen OS default dialer app in Nord. We have google dialer only.

I have installed joneplus tools, and run the needed adb commands. It's not functioning with the build in Google dialer app because that doesn't support call recording. After that I have tride to download the stock Oxygen dialer from apk mania, the app will not run on the Nord. I don't have any other ideas.
I have been looking all over for another solution. I found one call recorder app that somewhat runs. The voice quality is verry low, some parts off it are of verry low quality. And if you are using a Bluetooth headset it only records your own voice.
