so i got an Global Poco X3 NFC, for some reason (Possibly poco retired the android 11 recovery update) i can't update to Android 11, i need this to install Android 11 custom roms, So I was wondering if flashing the fastboot version of android 11 MIUI 12.5 for my Global device could brick my device, according to me it should not since the fastboot update itself is on the xiaomi servers, besides that it would flash the correct version (Poco X3 NFC Global), what do you think? is there any xiaomi protection that can brick my device if i do this?
as long as you do the right procedure you'll be alright

Hi there,
I have a MiMix3 which I bought right after release in Mainland China.
I've run it with Xiaomi.eu ROM MIUI 10 via TWRP since early 2019.
Now I've updated to MIUI 11 (weekly) but have a lot of bugs and issues. I've tried also MIUI 11 (Xiaomi.eu stable) and MIUI 10 (Global stable) but both did not run on my phone but kept stuck in a TWRP boot-loop.
Now I'm again on the weekly build but want to get to get back to a official Global Rom and lock my bootloader to be able to use Google Pay etc.
What is the ideal procedure to do this? Since all other ROMs I tried so far resulted in a TWRP boot-loop I don't know how to proceed now.
Thanks for your advice!

Hi !
First of all, if the phone is China version, you should never relock the bootloader after installing a global version (the phone may brick).
If you just want to to go back to MIUI Global Stable, you have to download the fastboot rom and install it via Xiaomi Flash on your PC.
I think the problem when you tried to install xiaomi.eu stable is your TWRP version. Have you tried to flash another TWRP? I know some people had this problem.
Good luck !
I am a poco x3 nfc user. I have been installing custom roms and kernels for months. Yesterday I flashed android 11 miui 12.0.7 eea stable rom and everything was good, then i found some bugs so i wanted to go back to android 10 stock rom. So I flashed fastboot rom miui 12.0.8. android 10 trough miflash as always and after that my phone when trying to boot to system always bootlooping. I tried flashing fastboot rom and custom roms (AOSP, xiaomi.eu) again and again, changed the recovery from orange fox to twrp, nothing works. It would be great if you guys could help me.

MIUI 13 Android 12 Poco F2 pro, patched boot.img with latest magisk, rooted without any problems
Boot A12 skkk twrp via fastboot and patch your kernel using internal tools. No userdata decryption required.
managed to use twrp on MIUI 13 Android 12 but not satisfied with the result..
so I decided to revert back to MIUI 12.5 Android 11...
I'm trying to install lineage OS, but the installation I was on was broken and it wouldn't let me unlock the bootloader, so I had to downgrade.
The only downgrade I found was for global, so I downgraded from android 12 eu to android 11 global. Now I can't find a package for android 12 global.
Can I update with an android 12 eu package? The phone is GM1913, current version is 11.0.9.1GM21AA. Version I got an update file for is GM1913_11.H.30

You can. Doesn't seem to have a negative impact so far. I'm on lineageos 20 now with nikgapps.

You have Android 12, so you are not using latest ROM... Install via fastboot this: https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/vayu/stable/V14.0.3.0.TJUMIXM/ (download fastboot version)
