Welcome,
I have some (partially technical) questions regarding the lighter version of Android - Android Go (Oreo Edition).
1. Does Android Go provide full support for applications dedicated to "normal" Android? Has it been somehow trimmed in terms of compatibility?
Of course, I omit porting an application to newer Android version in general. Rather a comparison with "full" Android Oreo or other versions.
2. Does Android Go also support Project Treble enabled drivers?
3. Does the obligation of supplying Project Treble enabled vendor implementation and minimum 4.4 kernel version for devices shipping with Android 8 refer also to Android Go?
Hi, what operating systems are compatible with the Nexus 5?
I'm interested in trying them all.

Sailfish OS (I have made Aliendalvik work on older version, latest CM13 base is a problem to run android apps, on older version 95% android apps work. On nexus 4 ALL 100% android apps work on sailfish OS with older CM11 base 2.0.5.6 version of sailfish. I have those packages if you'll need them), Ubuntu touch, Postmarket OS (Looks great uses much newer kernel version, but is unusable as daily driver and as phone at all), LuneOS, Firefox OS (This is dead for some years now)

will you please share cm, sailfish file where android apps work on nexus 5.
Thank you
I don't like One UI, so I'm searching for any alternative with android 11, something close to stock android.
Thanks!!
My smartwatch have android 6.0. Is there any way to install apps for newer android version? I tried downloading .APK and edit SDK, but it didn't worked.
An app compiled for Android 7 and higher never works on Android 6 and lower.
Has Somebody relevant experiences at Pixel 4a with both A10 & A11?
I'd like to have a one time set phone what is rooted and will not be updated for the nearly future, so based one of the final stock version of A10 or A11.
I have a preconception that newer firmwares with the new services requires more system resource.
But maybe there is not too much demand differences between A10 and A11.
After the daily good performance the secondary demand is rootability. Maybe with Magisk that's easy at both Android version...
What do You think or suggest? Thanks!
If you want to root and limit resource usage you might be better off with something like LineageOS.
