Hi hope you guys can help me. I recently bought an unlock s7 but it has the three network start up screen and three bloatware on it. I downloaded the latest BTU firmware from sammobile and tried to flash it using odin hoping that this would give me a fresh unbranded firmware. When i try to flash the files (AP,BL,CSC and CP) it stops at "NAND Write start' in the dialogue box and "set partition' at the top box. What am i doing wrong? What have i to do to install the unbranded BTU firmware? Thanks in advance
Have you solved this issue ?
I have the same problem now, trying to flash an official stock rom on my S7 and it also gets stuck at "Nand write start".
Try to flash official firmeware without hidden.img inside.
That solved the issue on galaxy s6 series.
Correct me if i'm wrong.

Thanks @juli.freaky, I will give that a try as well.
I also got another possible solution to try to flash the PIT file first.
I will try both solutions
Hope this will help.
You loose all your data if you flash a firmeware with the pit if i'm right but i'm not sure. If you flash the stpck rom without hidden.img you won't loose your data.
That's the situation on the galaxy s6 but i'm not sure how it proceed with the galaxy s7
Best regards

Thanks for the heads up, but I don't mind losing my data as I will create Titanium backups first before I flash
I will try it later this week, as I need to have a full functioning phone right now.
But I will surely post my findings here, so others can find the solution in the future.

Before you flash the BTU firmware have a look at this thread relating to the Identify Unsaved Numbers option here as your not in the UK, you may need to modify the others.xml as mentioned in the last post otherwise the option will be grayed out.
With your phone connected to you PC in developer options turn off USB Debugging then turn it on again and see if the message pops up on your phone to Authorize your PC it can reset the authorization which will allow Odin to work properly, use Odin 3.10.7.
Check in developer options that OEM Unlock is turned on then when you boot into download mode make sure FRP is Off.
was having same issue, came here for the answer, tried some of the mentioned things that didn't work but when downloaded the latest odin and flashed with it, it was worked like a charm.
also the post above mine is very helpful. so do read it.
S6 FIDO G920W8 stuck on NAND WRTE
I am looking for immediate assistance on NAND write stuck. Please reccomend me right verision of boot loop and modem. I am going crazy when my phone does not register sim card, no imei and does not work with Z3X Box.
Thanks
1. get the odin 3,11 not the one from samsung site
2. try a diferent CSC, that helped me today

I have the same problem.
How can I do this?
Please excuse this as ive been up all night trying to fix this freakin thing all night. I have tried everything from downloading the latest stock rom and the oldest. Nothing works. My phone says:
SW REV CHECK FAIL: [system]Fused 3 > Binary 1
I have typed this in on google and have found nothjng for this. I assumed it had something to do with the PIT file as the log on the computer said get PIT for mapping.
I am literally to the point of ripping my hair out and i know i wont be able to sleep until i get this fixed.. someone please help as soon as possible.
My Model of the S7 is SM-G930T please and thank you to anyone that knows how or tries to help
Did you get any cure for the problem?

Try flashing all parts of the ROM except the BL, do not flash the BL
Use ODIN 3.12.3 too
See if that works

The pit file is inside of the CSC file but if use it you will loose all of your data! Like a factory reset....
If you use the Home_CSC you keep the data but not remapping the phone partitions with the pit file....
God luck

Hi guys
I think that i'm doing things right...
1) I have Samsung USB drivers installed
2) I'm using Odin3.11
3) I'm using the correct params for 7.0 ( BL,AP,CP, Home_CSC in Odin )
3) Odin Options ( F.ResetTime, Auto-reboot,Repartion) all unticked
4) On the S7 USB debugging is On
I put the tel in DL mode and here is the list of what Odin spits at me...once launched
Log Screen
-Odin Checking v 3.1101
-File analysis
-Skip file for home binary
-param.bin
-modem_debug.bin
-Home binary Download
-Setup Connection
-Initialisation
-Set PIT for mappjng
-Firmware update Start
-Single Download
-sboot.bin
-Nand Write Start
-cm.bin
FAIL!
Am I missing someting or did something wrong ?
Thks in advance !!
Use ODIN 3.12.3 or newer
And which model S7 is it?

Try the newer version of ODIN
Code:
https://mega.nz/#!jUgRiTSa!fnAVwr7yFi4dlPk4V0oQ5DuoFe3iiG0jH-ws91IHOPc
Leave ODIN as it is, don't change any settings, just add the 4 sections of firmware and hit Start

Edit: Derp, wrong forum VZW won't help you The instructions in mine only say to use ap, cp, and csc but archive does include all. Wondering if you are just flashing more than needed?
I also experienced this yesterday. Let me share to you what I did. It might help.
1. Download the stock firmware.
2. Go to download mode.
3. Flash in odin the AP from the stock firmware and csc (not home). For BL and CP, I downloaded the latest files from this link: https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=95565 (i got it from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/how-to/guide-onelatest-stock-fw-csc-root-t3702963)
I hope it works.

Anyone help me please...i have a samsung galaxy s8 plus and my country is malaysia...i want to update my firmware manually from 7.0 to 8.0 ...i wish that i can install by OTA but everyday i check it say my software already the latest one, yet it still running a 7.0 which is i desperately want an update. Then i search in sammobile for the latest firmware available for my device..there it have a 8.0 and 9.0 firmware that i can download....i download a 8.0 and flash it using odin 3.12 ...the problem here ,after i start to fill out that "BL AP CP CSC " butto n then i press start it show me a "PASS" with green background.. its weird cos all that process completed in 7 sec..Then my device reboot...nothing unusual happen...i check in software detail on my phone it say that im running 7.0..with nothing change at all ...help me please....and btw im not using a "CSC" im using a "HOME_CSC" file is that make any difference??and should i on or off developer option in setting???
Never heard something like that. I think you forgot to check ap + bl + cp + csc. Home csc is not wiping data. Normal csc does

Good day everyone. I am totally new to this and on here but hope is something I came with and will always be a part of my beliefs.. I did flash my Samsung S7 SM-G930F a couple of times with different kind of custom ROMS and I guess I upgraded the bootloader by doing so... So now I was in TWRP mode and without thinking, I started to change the DATA format and immediately switched it off when I realized what exactly I'm doing and now it's stuck. It can switch on only with a charger and by force but I am capable of getting into download mode. I am trying to flash a stock ROM but it keeps on failing cause of the bootloader. When I use the PIT file, it shows successful though. But nothing more happens. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I don't own an S7 so maybe not much help.
From screen shot above try using Odin version 3.13.1 or higher.
Can you post a screen shot of download mode and Odin when it fails
If you can still get into download mode there should be a line saying AP SWREV: B:? K:? S:? or something similar.
The B:? is your bootloader version number. You will need to flash firmware with this number or higher.

Thank you for the response I managed to get it fixed. I used odin 3.14 instead and I wiped it with the NAND option and started from scratch. I used the pit file and flushed the bootloader first with repartition, then did the AP separete, and thats how I went on. After all, I'm back again. Thank you for trying, much appreciated.
