Question Flashing Miui.eu - Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro

I want to try miui.eu and was wondering if I still need to update to the latest miui. I'm still using miui 12.0.3 global version.

as I had to wait for my bootloader to unlock, I updated my pocox3 to lastest build at that time; 12.5.2 global
then after unlocking, flashed 12.5.2 eu rom, had no issues so far, currently updated to 12.5.5 thru dirty flashing. you have to wait for like 3-5mins for first initial boot of eu rom after flash (if you're waiting more than 10mins, its a bootloop).
having some experience with flashing custom rom on xiaomi devices..... i found out it's always best to be on latest firmware before switching roms, else there might be slight chance you experience failed flashes/bootloop problems, etc... xiaomi itself generally recommends getting to latest global rom, then doing anything *custom*.

Anyone have a link to 10.3.3.0 global stable recovery ROM (PEEMIXM)?

I found the 10.3.2.0 (global stable, PEEMIXM) recovery ROM on GetDroidTips and updated with it last night, but I have been getting the notification for 10.3.3.0 for about a month now. Does anyone know where to get a recovery ROM for 10.3.3.0 for the Mi Mix 3? For clarification my Mix 3 is rooted hence why I can't just use the OTA. Or is there a way to use the OTA to update that I am unaware of? I tried to flash one through TWRP when I was still on 10.2.2.0 and it instantly failed.
Thanks!

To flash in TWRP should I be using the ZIP version or fastboot version?
The OTA zip. Fastboot is for using the Xiaomi MiFlash or fastboot tool from computers.

Okay thanks!
Just an FYI - I am a Global Beta tester, and there were bugs in a number of the updates for a while that would mess up the vendor partition if you flashed it from TWRP instead of from the stock recovery, even with the full size OTA file. I haven't seen that now that they got done with the Global Beta and switched to Stable Beta Pilot Team, but wanted to provide fair warning, if you have that problem after flashing an OTA from TWRP, the only fix I found was to download the Fastboot version and re-flash with Mi Flash, but make sure not to relock your bootloader, ESPECIALLY if you have CN device like I do.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm on global stable, is the issue just for global beta? Also if I wind up switching to global beta, which I was considering, is it worth doing a complete reflash with MiFlash for every update? Wouldn't be ideal but better than bootlooping
Global Beta isn't a thing anymore. I've never seen the corruption happen on stable, but someone did report it. If you were to install beta at this point you'd be getting 3+ month old software as Xiaomi killed global beta.

Restore MiMix3 (bought in China) running TWRP/Xiaomi.eu ROM to Official Global ROM

Hi there,
I have a MiMix3 which I bought right after release in Mainland China.
I've run it with Xiaomi.eu ROM MIUI 10 via TWRP since early 2019.
Now I've updated to MIUI 11 (weekly) but have a lot of bugs and issues. I've tried also MIUI 11 (Xiaomi.eu stable) and MIUI 10 (Global stable) but both did not run on my phone but kept stuck in a TWRP boot-loop.
Now I'm again on the weekly build but want to get to get back to a official Global Rom and lock my bootloader to be able to use Google Pay etc.
What is the ideal procedure to do this? Since all other ROMs I tried so far resulted in a TWRP boot-loop I don't know how to proceed now.
Thanks for your advice!

Hi !
First of all, if the phone is China version, you should never relock the bootloader after installing a global version (the phone may brick).
If you just want to to go back to MIUI Global Stable, you have to download the fastboot rom and install it via Xiaomi Flash on your PC.
I think the problem when you tried to install xiaomi.eu stable is your TWRP version. Have you tried to flash another TWRP? I know some people had this problem.
Good luck !

How to update from old Beta 9.6.27 to Miui.EU Rom?

Hi Guys, got my Mix2s since official release and after unlocking bootloader I only "flashed" the Global Beta from the Updater (no root, no TWRP, only unlocking bootloader)... After that I always installed Updates OTA, but the Xiaomi cancelled the Open4all Beta Channel... Now I "stuck" on 9.6.27. (Germany) and for me there is no Update to 11.0.4.0 OTA !???!?
For me, the official Xiaomi Global Beta Roms - are much more fluid and less buggy like the Official Global Stable oO
Now my Question
1. Are Xiaomi.EU also OTA-Updatable or "Flash" within the Updater? Don't know if I need TWRP
2. How can I update without a Brick? Full Wipe is ok for me, to much waste on the phone
Thanks in Advance
Wow, I am suprised that nobody can help
I am clear that there will be always a risk with flashing and I am no Newbie at this.
But I want to make sure, that I not accidentally make it the wrong way..
So @ all Xiaomi.EU Users:
How can I flash the newest Stable oder Weekly on my Mix2s? And which way I must go, after flash to get future-updates for Xiaomi.EU-Roms (OTA? Flash in TWRP? "Flash" in Updater)?

Need opinion regarding switching from EU ROM and Stock ROM on POCO X2

It's been a year or 2 that I haven't flashed a ROM. I had heard about this ARB (Anti Rollback) stuff back then..... Now the main concern for me is that I wanna use the EU ROM for my Poco X2 (pheonixin), but I wanna know that, If I choose to switch to stock using MiFlash, will I be able to go on a version, that's below the EU ROM's? I don't really know if Flashing a higher EU ROM will increment my "anti" variable (currently I'm on Stock 12.0.1 and anti=2). I wanna flash 12.0.4 EU ROM on POCO x2. I'll list some questions here, it would be great if you could answer some...... Thanks...
1. I'm on 12.0.1 (rolled back, but have Fastboot ROM) Stock now. If I flash 12.0.4 EU using twrp and after somedays, can I switch back to 12.0.1 Stock using MiFlash?
2. Will the EU ROM increase my anti variable? Or is it just the Stock ROM that increases the anti variable?
3. If I somehow brick my phone (with ARB), how much will the service center charge me? (India) (Still have warranty though)
That's it for now.... again...... Thank You for helping me out

i flashed the eu build 12.0.4 and reflashed back to 11.0.11.0 with ease via mi flash tool. I don't think you would face any problem either..

I see..... But the thing is, FastBoot ROM for 12.0.1 haven't been released yet..... So if I change my mind to go for stock, I won't be able to go. Also, can I now switch back to 11.0.11 with MiFlash (Currently on 12.0.1 Stock)? 12.0.1 is just buggy..... Colors are messed up in notification panel....
Well, does this MiFlash give error on ARB if I'm trying to go to a lower build? or does it flash and brick the phone and then tell me that I cannot flash older ROMs ????

yes you will have to stay with custom roms untill and unless there is a fastboot rom release. it will be in a month or so.. other than that you can try the eu build it's very stable fir daily use.. and believe me after using the eu build you won't be coming back to the Indian build.

POCO X3 NFC - Bootloop fastboot

Hello guys, I installed Pixel experience custom on my poco x3 a few weeks ago. After few days, I tried to update the PE custom from but it showed failed "error 1" so, I skipped and forget about the update and kept using the phone.
Yesterday, I decided to go back one MIUI. I downloaded MIUI for my POCO X3 EEA version. I couldn't install it too, as it always showed "error 1". and starting yesterday, the phone bootlooped in fastboot.
Today, I tried to install the Official Miui Rom using MiFlashtool but always the same issue. First I tried installing the global official rom, it didn't work, then, installing EEA version but same thing.
Someone here can help me on that matter please, I never get an idea in how to fix that issue.
Thank you so much in advance for your help
what do you mean by "it didn't work" when installing official MIUI ROM using MiFlashTool? what error do you get etc and maybe you can provide some screenshots
installing official MIUI Fastboot ROM should fix your issue but maybe you did not do the right procedure
