I recently installed pixel experience on my OnePlus 7 Pro Which was running OOS11.
I installed the latest plus edition with root. When the phone finally started I continued on with the setup but no wifi networks were shown. I thought it was just a bug and skipped the wifi step to do it later, but I later figured out I couldn't even turn on wifi it would just automatically turn itself off. And also the fingerprint sensor wasn't working. I reverted back to oos but is something wrong in my phone or the custom rom cause I saw videos with pe+ running on op7pros and nothing was wrong.
EDIT:I fixed it. I sideloaded ROM zip through adb without flashing it with twrp as usual.
Thanks

Did you factory reset and wipe cache and dalvik cache in recovery after flashing Pixel Experience? When switching from stock to a custom ROM, not doing these wipes will cause issues when you boot into the new ROM.

Hello all
I am facing a strange issue of phone when I took it I out of pocket it started I use multirom was on secondary rom slimkat latest when this happened. When I took it from the pocket it was on my internal rom PA latest beta2 and lost my baseband to unknown and wifi also not working so I went to twrp to flash the radio zip went fine flashing it but when rebooted there was no baseband so tried again for few times but no luck.
So I decided to start clean by removing all secondary roms and did a factory reset of the internal rom and flashed the PA 4.6 beta2 and gapps to start clean but after that the issue started happening it boots till the welcome screen to select language from there it rebooting again into a endless times tried for times to flash the rom again but still it rebooting from that screen . My phone is unusable now.
Can someone guide me how to start clean from here and to boot a rom properly.
Really hoping someone here can help me out on this. Thanks in advance.
Really need some help to get my device back up and running. Right now my phone is on endless reboot loop from the welcome screen of the rom with multirom twrp recovery.
Fingers crossed and waiting. :/

If you read the OP for the PA 4.6 it says not to use the latest gapps as it doesn't work so try out the one that the OP recommends

I think I need to do that. I am at work now need to download the cm11s from the official link. Can you link me to a good guide to start from scratch. Will try clean later today. So I need to go to fastboot manually by pressing vol up button and power button to enter?
Is it a known issue or are there others with the same issue. Please link me there too.
Thanks for the advice.

Used the old micro gapps I don't think that is the issue here. All this started after losing my radio and wifi not working after that strange reboot from my pocket. When I connect to android file transfer it shows no files in the phone and can't move anything to the device also.
Started from scratch and back on stock cm11s. Gone stay pure stock for a while before I start rooting again.
Flashed official cm11s rom through fastboot mode.?
hey y'all i have a 6045i US and it keeps bootlooping it all started by flashing CM 12.1 4/03/16 verison by the marionetteso i also flashed gapps xposed and root so it gave me the bootloops so what i did is wipe data factory reset nothing worked so i flashed another ROM wipe data everything and flashed bootloop fix kernel and nothing, same results im at the homescreen and im doing things and bootloops from there even recovery rebooted alot lol im not sure why so i flashed another older verison of it (i risked btw) and it worked so with that recovery i flashed a TWRP backup from one of the threads to stock ROM wipe data etc. and nothing same results!!! bootloops from homescreen so if theres another way to fix id appreciate it so much a clean install as in out of the box also i tried the alcatel upgrade app and nothing everytime i shut down the phone and plug the USB it just turns on for some reason bootloader works still with fastboot commands so i dont know whats going on this is my first issue with this phone, thank you
EDIT: fixed i finally got the alcatel app to work mods please close this thread
Hi people,
I've been struggling with this for the past 2 days and I'm trying really hard not to give up
I downloaded the stable rom from the MIUI website (for Mi Note 3 aka jason), installed it successfully via MiFlash, and tried flashing Lineage after I did a factory + data + system + cache wipe. It ended with me getting the dreaded error 7.
A bit later, I realized I had to get the dev build from the MIUI website and flash it before flashing Lineage OS. So I did - I updated to MIUI 10 using the dev build, made sure it was working and tried flashing Lineage OS on top of it (after wiping the partitions I mentioned earlier, following the Lineage OS instructions).
So eventually I got it to work - sort of.
Lineage OS is booting properly, but the device freezes before it can find any wifi networks to connect to (and then reboots), and that's why I think the culprit is the modem.
So, a few questions -
1. did it happen to anyone else? I searched endlessly but came up with nothing
2. If it is a modem issue - where can I find a working one? I looked it up and found nothing
3. If it isn't a modem issue - what should I do?
If I'm doing anything wrong - please tell me. I'm flashing custom roms since 2011 and this is the first time something like this has happened to me.
Thanks for all your help!
Hi, first of all you need an unencrypted phone - Format data in TWRP (3.2.3.1), then wipe system, data, cache, dalvik. Flash the Miui 10 china stable firmware 10.0.2 or 10.0.4, then rom, gapps and reboot.
Good luck, zaqm

You're a true lifesaver. Worked on the first try.
Thank you!
No problems ?
Hi, I have OP6 since day one. Unlocked, with blu_spark TWRP, rooted with Magisk. Didn't have any problems. Yesterday I decided to try some custom rom and I hit a wall. Can't make Wi-Fi working - tried NitrogenOS and ViperOS. As I don't have a lot of experience with A/B partitions I tried few step by step instructions I was able to find here. Tried with latest stable, latest beta, different versions of TWRP. Problem is not related to Magisk or Gapps - wifi is not working and can't do anything about it.
At my first try I forgot to reflash twrp and I lost access to internal memory (pin in twrp), so I flashed full stock (https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/how-to/rom-stock-fastboot-roms-oneplus-6-t3796665) and started from this - nothing.
Tried latest beta flashed through TWRP - same effect.
I tried to decrypt everything with dm-verity fix - everything is fine, except wifi.
I've done 10-15 attemps to flash everything since yesterday.
Can somebody write a step by step instruction how to flash something correctly, that's fight for honor at this point:fingers-crossed:? I have no idea what I am doing wrong or what I am missing I flashed plenty of phones and never had problems like this.
On stock(stable and beta) wi-fi is working like it should, olny custom roms are making a problem.

Use the unbrick tool. It will force write all your partitions.

Last thing I did was flash-all-partitions.bat from image mentioned in my post. I gave up idea of custom rom for now. But I'll try unbrick tool on my next attempt.

i have the SAME problem, did you manage to fix this?
Hi guys,
long time ago i've already been a Member to XDA Community. HTC Wildfire was a brand new phone at that time. In the mean time i've switched to a Oneplus 2 running Lineage OS 17.1 and two years ago i got a Oneplus 6 running stock ROM till yesterday.
Yesterday i got Lineage OS with Wifi up and running fine with the official guide and official lineage recovery but forgot to flash OpenGapps in the first try. Tried flashing it again but got a Qualcomm Crashdump Mode Error after that.
So i went on to reflash the whole phone with clearing storage, system and so on. Flashed again now with OpenGapps and Magisk with reboot to recovery method described in official installation guide, Lineage was booting fine and tried to search for Wifi-Connection but i wasn't able to see any Wifi at all. I finished the setup and tried again in settings but System UI crashes if i try that. Rebooted, cleared Cache and tried again but nothing.
So i went back to full stock 10.3.0 with MSMDownloadTool but it only flashes partition a? Is that correct?
After a lot of trying different things got back to 10.3.5 on a and b partition with mauronofrios stock fastboot roms from https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/how-to/rom-stock-fastboot-roms-oneplus-6-t3796665 (Thank you very much for that! :good: ). I can boot both slots if i switch them in booted twrp without any problem.
On stock everything works fine my wifi detects all available networks and i can connect to them without problems.
What did i do wrong?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!
Schwaus
EDIT:
So i did a little bit more testing:
Installed lineage-17.1-20200804-nightly-enchilada-signed.zip with corresponding recovery without anything like Gapps or Magisk both like described in official instruction and with TWRP from mauronofrio. I also tried to flash latest official OTA from Oneplus via TWRP before flashing Lineageos. In neither of the tested ways Wifi is working and i cant see any Wifi-MAC-adress under settings. Also tried to switch back to stock before flashing with flash-all-partitions.bat from mauronofrios stock to get the persist partitions replaced too.
Every version of Stock like the MSMDownloadtool 10.3.0 or Stock 10.3.5 from mauronofrio Wifi works perfectly without problems. I also can update via OTA without issues. I just dont know what is happening with my Wifi firmware when flashing LineageOS.
EDIT 2:
Got the problem fixed:
Don't know if i done it right but maybe it helps someone.
In my case it was a combination of problems:
- First the latest Oneplus 6 Lineage releases (20200804 and the withdrawn 20200811) seem to have a bug when installed fresh on a device to cause a bootloop so i used the one from 30/06/2020 and updated with the app afterwards.
- Secondly the copy-partitions.zip script hasn't copied all of the partitions necessary. In mauronofrio's fastboot image there is a image named fw_4u1ea.img. This one got not copied by the script, so i booted twrp-3.4.0-1-enchilada-Q-mauronofrio.img and flashed all of the images (fastboot, persist and critical) to slot b again manually like described in his thread. The flash-all-partitions.bat has not worked either.
Now LineageOS works like a charm and i can see and connect to every wifi.
Hey mate. I had the same issue and I gave up at this point. Tomorrow I'll try your "EDIT 2:" and gonna leave a feedback
Hey Schwaus, thanks for this post. *EDIT 2* worked for me
