Does anyone know a APP/Apk to block Whatsapp from receiving calls/messages from people outside our contacts?
I had been harassed last days, with Phishing/Scam calls, and is annoying have to go block one by one, and then appear new numbers.
Beside this, i also noticed Whatsapp Profile photo appears also for persons outside contacts list, i tried with father phone deleting my contact, and photo still appeared even if we set privacy to "only contacts" on Whats.

I think i have a bot on my cellphone. Earlier today I was looking for an email that had room reservation information from the silver legacy hotel. I have my exchange email linked to my phone so i used the search function in the email app to search for the word silver. The reservation was in the results list. But there where also bunch of outgoing emails that i never sent. The emails looked like spam, i opened one but didn't click on the link. The email had been sent to me from me according to the email, but these emails don't show up in my inbox or sent mail folder. These emails don't show up on any of my computers that have the my exchange email account synced to them. I think there is some sort bot running on my phone. I tried searching using google and the xda forum search function but i couldnt find anything to help me. Is there anyway to remove the bot with out resetting my phone? I've never heard of this happening, but i figured it would only be a matter time before someone figured out how to get bots on cellphones.

I would say they are in your spam folder, a lot of spam email spoofs the sender as the receiver email to get the person to open it. Check your spam folder and I bet they are in there.
I checked the spam folder, the emails weren't there.
The latest WhatsApp feature is generating a lot of duplicate threads on XDA, drowning other threads in the process. Many are also posted in the wrong section. Is any of you guys is using their other brands ; like instagram, FB Messenger. . Etc?
Are you blocking them from accessing private data?
Are you using any modded apps that they don't like?
I don't know but I think that they are trying to link everything they own together .. so if you block any of it in away that the info they get is not identical , they block you, and force you to supply the info they failed to collect from your devices ..

I have verified my email address (its a personal domain email not Google) as correct and nothing is going to spam, but I simply don't appear to be recieving anything. I've checked all my User CP settings and looked through FAQ to no avail.

I have a Poco X3 Pro phone that is not rooted and the bootloader is locked
For several days now, when I receive an email, its Gmail app does not play a notification sound
3 Gmail accounts and 2 Yahoo accounts have been added and none of them will play notifications
I did not make any adjustments to the settings
He had no problem before.

Are you on the latest version of GMail app?
Open Settings>Apps>Manage Apps>Gmail>Notifications and see if every option is turned on.

Hi, had my x3 pro a week and now the Gmail and chat notification sounds aren't working, pop up works but no sound. eBay sound works. Anyone got any idea how to cure this? I've gone through all permission settings and even reset Gmail.
