Hi there. Got ATT version of One Ace 5G. Problem with phone information menu i.e *#*#4636#*#* - it doesn't run. Tried another dialer same problem. Imei code shows and some debug stuff. If anyone have solve for this problem please write.

System repair menu can be entered by turning off phone, then pressing Power + Volume down key , then releasing.
Changing ROM will be solution.

I installed the HTC driver that fixes the audio problem on my phone and now it won't boot up.
It is a Telus HTC Touch Pro phone. I downloaded the file right from their website.
I tryed a hard reset, but I am not sure I am doing it right, or it isn't working.
I am pressing the volume down button and the round center button next to the home and back key, then clicking reset and holding. nothing happenes.
The phone when I turn it on Says Touch Pro, and then the red text at the bottom shows up and then the phone just sits there..
Am I screwed?
Put your device in bootloader mode and flash the latest official rom for your device. That should fix it.
I just wanted to say to the guys here.
I emailed HTC and told them what I did. They told me that the patches on their website are for the GSM version of their phone. and I have the CDMA version (Telus in canada) and that the hardware reset is different for a CDMA phone)
Which is why it wouldn't work. On a GSM phone you only press vol down and enter with reset to hard reset.
With a CMDA version of the phone you have to press POWER Vol Down and Enter and then click the reset. (Which is hard to do by the way)
The phone booted up.

After hours of searching I am still "stucked".
I have an I9001 with some sort of password ( Enter password to unlock - with no sim card inside - I mean is not a network unlock code )and I cant get rid off it.
A friend give it to me to solve this matter but I couldn't. He has no idea how the phone comes in this situation ( when u power it on it ask for a password to unlock code ). I tried to enter into "boot" mode ( to wipe/reset the device ) but no succes ( with vol+ and power, with both volume buttons and power, conected or not connected to usb cable ) it's only enter in download mode , or in RAMDUMP MODE ( IF i PRESS VOL+, HOME, AND POWER ). I tried to flash a new firmware, everything was ok, but same problem. I even flashed FeaModRecovery_1.2 but same. Current flash firmware is I9001XXKP4.
When i flash ( with odin ) a firmware it goes ok but at RESET time , computer ask for installing an UNKNOWN device, I am ignoring this instalation and everything (seems ) is ok, but then, again, when I power the device it ask for that password.
Any ideea what shall I do?
Any advice(s) is more than apreciated.

I'm sorry but as I cannot know the original source of the phone, I'm sure that your friend forgot their password ..... but as I cannot guarantee this ..... then the only advice I can give you is to return it to the original dealer and ask them to unlock it for you.

It is probably the only available solution, since any other method(s) to reset the device failed.
If anyone knows any other way to reset it, please let me know, in case he can not send it back to provider/dealer for solve this issue.

I have this tablet named Shinco model:vx780a, i forgot my password on this device I've tried too many times but didn't unlock . After too many attempt it prompt me to sign in on google , but i can't remember that i set a google account or i just forget it. I've try to search for solution but non of it got the answer. I've try to go the system restore screen (power button plus home button or power button plus volume) non of this didn't work shinco tablet doesn't have volume button. My friend suggested to change the rom and i search some rom. I found the cyanogenmod and clockworkmod recovery but the problem is that i can't use the screen 'coz its unlock. Can anyone suggest anything to solve my problem? :crying:

I have been given a project and I cant for the life of me get it to work. It is an Elebest EL-H700 . Basically its an android tablet that you mount to your rear view mirror and has a rear facing camera on it. It also has built in sat nav apps and the like. My friend has tried to install something on it and now it is stuck in the recovery menu. Only trouble is that in order to exit/navigate in any recovery menu stock or cfw you need volume keys to navigate up and down then an enter button(usually home button). Only trouble is there are 5 buttons on it.....mute, gps, power, dvr and home button only trouble is any button I press just cycles it to reset and back to recovery menu as its the top option in the menu. There is obviously something fundamentally wrong with the device as it keeps cycling to recovery menu. So after that long winded description of my woes, can anybody tell me if they have encountered such a device and how to restore it to factory state???, or, any type of flasher and stock rom for me to attempt said reset on my pc

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Sorry man, but as you probably already know there is nothing on XDA about this device. Infact there is very little on the internet about it. You're going to be on your own on this one.
Ive tried the hardware button combinations. Volume buttons etc. Ive also tried the adb commands. Nothing works. The buttons combinations send me to " Factory recovery" with only the yes or no options. And the adb commands send to a sad android with the no commands warning. Also the network function is no pressable under settings. I wanted to try to clear the cache partion under the recovery mode to see if this would fix the problem of the phone not recognizing any Simcards, Cricket or any other. Thanks for and clues on this.
