Hello, I would like your support to resolve a question.
You can change the factory rom of the p40, in my case from TELCEL (ANA-L04 - C69) to GLOBAL (ANA-L04 - C605
I have the same question! Did you find the answer?

Hi,
did anyone find the oeminfo?
It's necessary that someone make a twrp backup of oeminfo partition. My suggestion @lorenzw is ask on France forum or hope that someone here read this
if you pay to user duraaa you get oem unlock info
Maybe ask in twrp thread, someone with TWRP installed can help.
Just one question: what you will do with oeminfo?
This phone has system and cust protection.

You can flash this partition without problem. I've custom rom and other stuff working. The aim is always the same debrand and rebrand test

I would also be interested. I have the same model with 6gb of ram.
C432 is what you're after.
Thank you. So we would have to use a tool like FunkyHuawei to switch from the chinese version to the international one, is that right?
Will we have to unlock our bootloader?
Are there any guides out there that explain the steps?
Thank you so much.
I have called Huawei in Europe today and they have told me that changing the Version from China to Europe is no problem at all and does not require to unlock the bootloader. The guarantee will not void as long as you use official huawei builds.
This is rxactly what he has told me.
And did he say how to do that?
I have the same one and i would change to the europien rom, too
Dear All,
My friend bought the Redmi Note 5 (China) with global rom installed, but once he was setting up with Canada as region, he did not get face data option in lock and password page. Then reading from the web somewhere, he changed the region to "India" and got that option. He switched back to "Canada" region and the option is gone.
Is there any solution to this?
Thanks.

I'm afraid there is no alternative but to switch the region to India or China. It's a really strange policy from Xiaomi

Just change your region to india and you will have the feature. You can still keep your language set to what ever you want.

Just choose India first, set up your face data for unlock,
And change it back to canada. The face unlock will stay.

Ok,difficult to answer you because of the operator and the country, try to see with your operator or try a Weekly (more advanced).
in my country, the operator has to enable it on their system first. Not sure if same or different for yours.

It is the same for all countries.
the problem is not the activation but the sound quality.
