Hi everyone, I have a question for you.
I have an LG G8S and I would like to know if, even by installing the health monitor APKs, it is possible to use all the functions including ECG and blood pressure.
Also, in your opinion, should I buy it or should I choose another brand?
Thank you all!
You will need to install the modded Samsung Health Monitor apps on both your phone and the watch itself.

Hi all,
I hope some one can advise in my question:
I can't find some applications in Samsung Gear Apps store, i 100% shure that such applications exist and available for gear s2 (for example Sleep As Android addon)
I suppose it's some restrictions for smartphone type - i use Meizu pro 5, while guys with samsung smartphones easelly can find and install it.
Maybe there is some way to make GEar app think that it installed on samsung device ?
Paid apps are not available yet in the Samsung Store for Gear S2 paired with a non-samsung smartphone. There are many threads complaining about it.

Sleep as Android addon is free app.
Paid apps are available for users of non-Samsung phones, as of several months ago (although I guess maybe some countries aren't up to date with this?).
The problem with certain apps not showing up for some people (I still can't download the Uber app, for example) seems to be that when uploading their apps to the store, developers need to activate the listing for every possible combination of phone and wearable - and some combinations, for unexplained reasons, end up being disabled. The developer of Wearable Widgets talks about this in a G+ post here: https://plus.google.com/+SterlingUdell/posts/RbswZqw8KQ5.
It might be worth contacting the developer and letting them know your specific phone and wearable, and asking them to check if they've enabled the app for that combination. If they're unable to because it's disabled by Samsung, we need to wait for Samsung to fix this ridiculous system....

Thanks man, it's explains my issue.
I HATE SAMSUNG, their alien software and ****ty market, just LG release new G watch - i'll sold my gear s2 and forgot for all of this problems .
Is it not also the firmware version your on I was told and the 3G folks dont see alot of faces.
Hi everyone,
I just changed my phone (which is not anymore a Samsung) but I kept my Gear S2. Unfortunately, I realized I have no more the same full access to the Samsung gear store. I used to run with Pear Sports and I can't find anymore the app for the gear ( I found for my phone only). Pear Sport explain this is because the exclusive partnership they have with Samsung.
I desperately looking for this since few days already but can't find. So, my question is, where can I find another way to sideload all apps and install this Pear Sport on my watch again?
Thanks for your help!
Hi there
I am going to be retiring my 2nd Gen Moto 360 and buying a Samsung Gear S3 in a couple of days. I've never really seen one in person because smart watches aren't really popular where I live but the pictures look good online, I also love the fact that it doesn't have the annoying flat tire that my Moto does.
I am not sure if it uses the exact same Android Wear OS as my Moto (heard Samsung has its own interface) but is there a way to install custom watchfaces from facerepo to it? I always use facerepo for all my Moto watch faces which can be imported using different applications like Watch Maker, Facer, etc. but I haven't seen any faces for the Gear S3 specifically, just the Gear Live watch.
Am I missing something? Are we stuck with the stock watch faces Samsung provides?
And what about the "custom ROMs" I see here? I'm a fan of modding and installing custom ROMs on my Android devices but I've never really seen one for a smart watch before.
Thanks for your time.
1st, the S3 is a Tizen watch, not android wear, and so will not run android apps. Including google maps and assistant.
2nd, if you have Watchmaker, there is a companion app, call appropriately, Watchmaker companion. It allows faces from facerepo to be loaded to your S3. I'm using it and it works well. the only caveat is that sometimes I have to load a face twice to have the units converted correctly.
Also, Facer has a similar companion app.
3rd, since it's a Tizen watch and not open source, I would personally stay away from custom roms until more experimentation is done (on other peoples watches) unless you want a $350 brick on your wrist or are totally OK risking that.
Hello,
Sorry my english is not so good itranslate by google.
I have a couple ask for this watch.
I need some help from people who already have experience with the clock.
1)
how is a good way to save the best battery life.
what should be considered as a tip to adjust the watch.
for a night whit sleep tracking.
and a Day for good long way to run one two days.
If you only use samsung's automatic sleeping app or download the seep app, which is better for the battery
2) search watch faces for free
and have Pay problems way not no credit card in the samsung store to buy.
There is no other way
where can i find packages or links to watch faces for samsung designer GWD files from other users.
why can i find not the watchmaker companion app.
i downloaded the app watchmaker now for the watch.
at watchmaker there are many free faces .
That's because I use a Sony Xz1 instead of a Samsung phone?
3) searching apps for good work on the watch
so man is not loading trash on the clock
I need healt fitness tracking and Navigation alarm sleep and ohters good apps.
if possible, do not eat the battery empty.
Do you have some recommendations for me?
4)What are the differences between a Samsung mobile phone and another Android smartphone
thank you @ all
Ed
I upgraded my original GW to the GW5 Pro.
I made several skeleton watches faces that were for that tizen OS.
I've been able to convert my faces to wearos and get them loaded onto the new watch.
I'm not that great at using adb.
I'm having trouble getting it to connect to my watch.
I'm wanting to get a list of the appids so that I can update the links to open the proper apps on the new watch.
Does anyone have a list yet?
Found what I was looking for.
This thread came up after I posted this question.
Watch4 ADB Commands - Disable/Enable/Uninstall/Restore system app, Install/pull Apps
Hello Everyone, I hope you all are good, So I see some on you wondering about how to uninstall, reinstall, install, pull, enable and disable apps for the watch, so I decided to make this thread to address these different scenarios, this is based...
forum.xda-developers.com
Found the id I was looking for, which is the way I thought I wrote it out on the wf.
Looks like the GW4 ids work for the 5... at least the one I tried.
