After installing V25 I noticed that Amazon Shopper Panel app doesn't allow me to see my rewards (desktop). I even signed out of the app on my Android phone, still doesn't allow me to see my rewards. I guess I can always use the app on my phone but I'd like to make it work on my tablet too. Thanks for helping.
I still have not seen any suggestion on how to resolve this one. Anybody else has this issue? I think the Amazon Shopper Panel app needs to be added along the other Amazon apps so we don't uninstall it. It's not showing in the list of Amazon apps. It's not a well known app I guess.

Anyone post their apps to Amazon? I am thinking to post my paid apps to Amazon besides the official Market. It's quite annoying to remove linkage to android market in app's free version.
But it sounds that AT &T will block Amazon app.
I have posted my app, Smart Diagram, to it. And it is selling ok. 4 in a month. As a new store, i am quite impressed by Amazon effectiveness.
> Anyone post their apps to Amazon? I am thinking to post my paid apps to Amazon besides the official Market.
I'm liking it so far because the charts seem much more dynamic. My free word game "wordoid!" is hard to find in the Android Market's charts but has climbed to #2 in Amazon's charts for some reason.

Yes, this does make it tiresome when upgrading apps. You can automate the process though with build scripts.
That's a good idea to use build scripts to build the apk for both Google and Amazon. I wanted to post my apps on Amazon, but I was dreading rewriting some of the code and having to maintain to different copies. And the pro version of my app uses LVL which isn't compatible with Amazon.
How did anyone else handle LVL if you posted to Amazon. Just remove it completely and use the Amazon DRM? Ahhh...maybe I'll just stick to the Google app store.
I'd like to see some more feedback from people that have posted to Amazon though to get a better idea of how it compares.

I have uploaded several apps to amazon. But very few downloads are generated from it.
Has anyone else noticed that the Amazon AppStore seems to be cheaper than the Android (Google) Market? Apart from offering a free paid app every day, some apps seem to be less expensive. Another advantage that I noticed is that it's all in US$ and not converted from € or £; this is great because then I don't have to pay foreign transaction fees!
Only disadvantage is that you have to keep an eye on two different market places...
Shame it's not available in the UK - We can view but can't even get the free app of the day - says theservice is not available in your country...

I know that the MarketEnabler app works for the standard android market (for root devices), but does it also work for Amazon's store? or does it pull country ID a different way?
On the Amazon AppStore, Amazon gets to adjust an app's price around. App developers are guaranteed a minimum amount of money (so when one of the apps are free for a day, Amazon is literally just paying the developer for each download!) for paid apps, but Amazon reserves more control.
Personally, I like the AppStore FAR more than the Android Market... I've never once had an issue with stuff from the AppStore totally ignoring you when you tell it to install/update something (unlike what the Market does for me somewhere from 50-90% of the time).

My Transformer is not rooted - I don't intend to root it... not for some time - it's new so I'm "bedding it in" - see if any problems popup..
Just a shame that a company as large as amazon has not expanded the Android market into all regions yet.. and yet Kindle it appears has taken over the world. LOL
My problem with Amazon:
1. Can't turn off one-click purchase. I have purchased apps accidentally.
2. The only way to "diasble" one-click is to de-authorize the device on Amazon's website
3. Once you de-authorize a device or if you uninstall the Amazon App Store app, you can no longer use the app.
Basically, if you buy an app and then decide down the road that you don't like the amazon appstore (for whatever reason). You pretty much can't uninstall it unless you don't want access to the apps you purchased anymore. I don't think the andorid marketplace functions this way.
I am unsure if the apps even function if you don't have a wireless connection. Maybe someone can clarify this.
Also, if there is a way around this, I'd like to hear it.
As is stands now, I have about 6 paid Amazon apps and have now decided that I don't want to use the amazon appstore due to their no-refunds/can't-turn-off-one-click policy(s). So what do I do now? I am forced to leave the amazon appstore app on my device.

I understand what you are saying but it is exactly the same with Google Market; it's just not that obvious! Your device is linked to your google account and your market account is basically identical with (or part of) your google account. So if you decide you don't want to go with google anymore (which is impossible btw) you would lose all your apps as well. Does that make sense?
Ignore me, I obviously didn't read the first post.....
Hmmm. I was just shocked to see that some apps are also more expensive at amazon... Guess at the end of the day it will be very similar after all.
Hi everyone,
I try to use bing vision on my book, and it's able to detect the book, show me the reviews and prices. There is supposed to be app linkage in the extra panel where you can choose to buy your book, for example Amazon app, and best buy. However, my phone does not show any app even though I have amazon installed. Same thing happens when I use "Movies search". It does not show me the app IMDB which I have in my phone. Any solution?
Thank you.

These apps need to be updated to take advantage of Mango features. There are no Mango apps available on the marketplace, so you are going to see any of the fancy app integration or other things like multi-tasking until these apps are updated and released onto the market.
Curious To see if anyone else had this issue or can recreate it.
I doubt it is intentional, but it is seemingly a good way to punish anyone who uninstalls the Amazon app store.
I am using a Motorola Photon 4G and I installed the Amazon appstore a few months back, mainly because of their free app per day. Anyway, in that few months I've downloaded quite a few apps from the Amazon appstore.
Tonight I was deciding to do some cleanup and started uninstalling apps left and right. And while I was at it, I decided to uninstall the amazon appstore app since I haven't really used it for a little while.
The first thing that initially surprised me, then I sort of accepted, was that when I went to use an email app I got from amazon, even though it was available in the Google android market as well, it showed me the inbox but forced a popped up that was telling me that I have to have the amazon app store installed before I could use the app. Like I said, at first it did surprise me, and in fact pissed me off, but I sort of made at least temporary peace with it by realizing that Google gets the advantage of having the required "market app" installed to possibly track what apps you use (in exchange for the free of charge market service, of course), So why shouldn't they get the same benefit?
But the second thing I noticed has pretty much pissed me off. Besides that I couldn't use any apps that I downloaded from the amazon app store (or at least that email app I downloaded from them) but I couldn't use my "paid for" apps either. But that still isn't the biggest issue.
The issue I want to know if it can be re- created is that once I uninstalled the amazon app store, my phone screen was now very unresponsive, scrolling, typing, etc. was all very laggy or didn't respond at all until I would touch 2 or 3 times. It was so bad that when my pattern lock came on, it would lag so much I couldn't get back into my phone for at least 10 or 12 tries. Even trying to pull down the notification bar was nearly impossible as the connection would be lost every half second between my finger in the screen thus making the notification bar recede back up.
I didn't immediately recognize it was the removal of the amazon app store application that caused this, so for several hours I was trying to troubleshoot what processes or applications was causing this. Finally, in order to use one of my paid applications, I reluctantly reinstalled the amazon app store application.
And all of that lag and unresponsiveness disappeared entirely immediately upon installation of the amazon app store application.
Now, I doubt that it is intentional, but at the same time I don't put it past Amazon given something else uber-unethical they willfully did a while ago that is unrelated.
Nonetheless, even if it is not intentional, it is a huge deal if the removal of the amazon app store is the direct cause of this happening to many people, not just me. So, I was wondering if anyone else has had this experience, or would like to try to recreate it and report back ( again, simply reinstalling the amazon application store fixed the problem).
Thanks,
Joe

Don't know but I can't even login to Amazon Appstore with my username and password.
Keeps saying it's wrong but it's right. Checked many times.
Weird.
Hi all
I have a Kindle Fire HD 10" bought on Black Friday special last month. I had no problems side-loaded and getting the GooglePlay Store up and running. I have installed apps from both GooglePlay and the Amazon App Store.
Over the last twenty four hours, several games and apps required updates in the GooglePlay Store. I applied them. I went to run them and I get an error message about SD Card Not Available. I have the 64GB Fire HD 10 and don't even have an SD Card installed. I have an option to select OK which just takes me out of starting the app or Download Again which when selected takes me to the Amazon Appstore and NOT the GooglePlay Store.
So I have tried a few things to troubleshoot. I uninstall the app in question. But it doesn't remove the icon. It is darkened but not removed. I then reinstall and it remains in that state and gives the SD Card error again. If I go to the GooglePlay Store and select Open on the app in question, it opens without an issue.
Several of the games use GooglePlay Games so I thought maybe that is an issue. I opened that app and it tells me there is an issue with GooglePlay Services. Is there an update for GooglePlay Services for the Fire HD 10 I am unaware of?
All the other apps work fine. It is just those that required an update in the last 24 hours. I don't have auto-update enabled and won't update any other apps if they appear until I get this worked out.
Is anyone else having this issue? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue? Thanks.
TJ
Found Partial Solution
I searched before posting but then found this post --
https://forum.xda-developers.com/hd8-hd10/help/google-play-store-apps-disappeared-t3721523
It provides the solution for the strange app behavior and SD Card Install error, however, I am still getting an error message with GooglePlay Games and the GooglePlay Services.
Does anyone have any possible solutions for that? Thanks.
Did you get any update in last 24h? I heard that Amazon and Google are not in good relationship anymore, so could be that Amazon already started blocking Google apps/services.

The last update I got was 12/03/17. The last I read was that Google was back in talks with Amazon to fix the YouTube issue and Amazon Video is now available on the Play Store. So I don't know what is up.
Getting the same problem here. I tried uninstalling, but the icons remain on the home screen. Upon further testing, I have figured out the problem has something to do with the Amazon launcher. If you install and open up another launcher (I used Nova) then all of your apps will be there and open just fine. Hopefully somebody finds a solution soon.

Going into Manage Apps and clearing the date on the Amazon launcher (Home Page) fixed part of the problem. Then just force quit, and restart the Fire.
My problem now is a connection issue with Google Play Services and Google Games that was fine three days ago but now throwing up errors.
Same issue here. I deleted Google Play and reloaded it from the saved APK. That worked but only for a while. I loaded Nova launcher and it runs Play with no problems, even though it is dimmed out on the Fire home page. Very strange. My guess is that Amazon is implementing Google countermeasures. There must be a lot of new Fire HD users bypassing the completely inadequate Amazon app store.

Forgot to mention that newly installed apps do not appear on the Amazon home page either. Bummer. I actually like the native home screens.
