Android 11 update by Magisk 23 ? - Samsung Galaxy S10e Questions & Answers

Hello.
I am under android 10 from December 2020. With Magisk 23 + TWRP.
Can Android 11 update without losing everything (I heard "yes" with HOME_CSC)?
Is it still necessary to use a USB cable in addition to the "Vol + / BixBy / Power" manipulation under Android 11?
Thank you very much for all response

Note 12 P905 bricked with dual boot install ?

Hi, I am a new user but I have been reading xda for many years.
Today I had a big problem later I have followed the guide (i presume correctly but I am not sure): https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...pment/guide-multi-boot-note-pro-12-2-t3575495
- TWRP 3.1.1
- Resurrection Remix 5.8.5 as main OS (fresh install today but installed with TWRP 3.0.2) and working
- DualBootPatcherAndroid-9.3.0.r463.g1fc7bbd0-snapshot installed
- Set kernel done
- Set UI mode (clicked by mistake but I did not know how to turn it off after)
- Lineage 15.1 zip patched (slot lineage151) and saved to internal rom
- Boot to TWRP and lineage.zip install.
Here i have done a mistake, installed then also gapps stock 7.1 patched for same slot, (I have confused 15.1 with 14.1). Errors on gapps install that I have ignored.
- Reboot
Note12 not boot and stucks on Samsung logo for a some time and then it has appeared "android download do not turn off target" (Odin Mode).
I have waited some minutes and the I have forced power off.
Now Note12 not turn on anymore, even the charging logo not appears if i connect charger to recharge battery (but there is a 0.3Amps current consumption).
Battery was over 60-70% when I flashed 15.1
If I connect Note12 to PC Windows detects a Samsung Mobile USB CDC composite device but nothing happens.
Suggestions for solving or I have to throw my Note12 to trash can ?
PS
I have tried many keys combinations
Power button
Volume Up + Home button + Power button
Volume Down + Home button + Power button
Volume Down + Power button
Volume Up + Power button
but nothing happens and no screen output
EDIT:
Found a guide that tell to hold Power Button for 30 sec.
I has worked, Note12 power on but goes to Odin Mode
I suppose that now I have to reflash from zero with Samsung Fw or there is a way to recover actual installation (with TWRP) ?
EDIT2:
Resolved!
Power + Volume Up hold for 30 sec will boot to TWRP 3.1.1
I reinstall the Fw without ODIN

Had a similar situation, here's what works on my RM5P, press all 3 hard keys, screen turns off, as soon as - like immediately you feel the vibration release all keys, you get the fastboot logo and it's into the selection menu, volume keys to scroll pwr key to select

Lenovo M10 (TB-X605F) - Bootloop / Blank Screen -- Is it PERMA-Bricked or Fixable?

Lenovo Smart Tab M10 (TB-X605F)
CPU: Qualcom Snapdragon 450
RAM: 3GB
Storage: 32 GB
ROM: Stock 9.0 latest (Jan 2020) - TB-X605F_S210152_200120_ROW
I was able to root the device with Magisk through OEM Unlocking and Magisk Patched boot.img. Everything worked well and booted into the OS just fine. I was also able to install TWRP 3.3.1.
When trying to make a full backup through TWRP i noticed several "/data mounting errors". I then proceeded to follow these instructions on XDA to resolve this.
After performing the above the LENOVO logo is seen but after 10 secs the screen goes blank. As far as i can tell the tablet turns itself off.
I've tried all the following key combos but nothing works:
x Power key
x Power Key + Volume Down
x Power Key + Volume Up
x Power Key + Volume Up + Volume Down
** Release of keys is done once Lenovo logo appears
Through the hardware keys i'm unable to get into Fastboot Loader (Power + Volume Down) and unable to get into Recovery (Power + Vol Up & Dwn). These key combos used to work.
My question is, is the tablet permanently bricked and can be dumped or is there anything i can do get back into the OS? All data on the device can be erased if necessary.
I've tried following instructions to flash stock using QPST and QFil but both apps wouldnt comply -- QPST refused to run on Windows 10 always complained it was interrupted during installation and QFil always reports failure at the end of the flashing.
did you ever get it sorted? im having a weird boot looping issue with mine after installing magisk
+1 having the bootloop, did you ever solved it?

Hi ,
I had the same unit and same problem eventually reflashing back to Android 6.0 worked :
Download RockChip SDDIskTool V1.59 Here
Download Version 6 Rom hHere
Run the Disktool , check 'Upgrade Firmware' , Select the firmware downloaded in link above , then hit Create , wait until done .
Insert The SD into the GPS slot , Then reset the device (hold power button until flashes ) , an android logo should appear with a progress bar .
problem resolved
now it works.
i tryed to resolve it with this link from hal9k post nr. 3116
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79422313&postcount=3116
i used a 12 sdgb card but it didnt work. so i changed to a 8gb sdcard an now the unit has been started!
thank you for the suggestions

FTM mode (OxygenOS 12)

DSince I have OxygenOS 12 that the FTM mode (needed to activate VoLTE) doesn't work, pressing the command just reboots for 3 seconds and starts the OS as if it were a normal reboot, Does it work for any of you, and if not, do you know of a solution?
Having the same issue as above
If you have root access, just install attached magisk module.
If you don't have it, there is a way to access engineeringmode on coloros/oos12, but it's a bit complicated.
