I readed many threads about how to enter recovery in this units but never worked.
To enter recovery in witson units follow the instructions
1. Hold power button for 15 seconds or until the lights of the units flash 3 times
2. Release the power button for 1 second
3. Press power button again for 3 seconds and release.
Doing this you enter to recovery menu.

This is only useful if you tell us what unit you have - Witson are sellers only and they sell units from a variety of manufacturers.
Please tell us the MCU you have so we know what unit you are talking about, although I would guess its the same for all MTCD units as it is for MTCB/C.
i have a new witson android 6.0.1 octacore unit and this worked for me,.. i also have a android 5.1.1 unit from them Quadcore and it has a different method - so thanks for this one
Both MTCD

Great, but there are no "Witson" devices - Witson are a seller, the letters after "MTCD" will tell you what device you have.
does this work also for 7.1.1 units (PX3, 2GB RAM) from Witson?

AFAIK all MTCD units are the same to get into recovery, but in my experience MTCD units are a bit hit and miss getting into recovery, think yourll just have to play around with it.

Agree; two different, depending on if the unit has hardware keys (as above procedure) or not (reset button procedure.)

Whats the procedure for buttonless MTCD units ?
For buttonless MTCB/C ones a lot of people soldered an on/off switch to the board to be able to get into recovery on a unit that wouldnt boot. I have a buttonless MTCD unit that wont boot, I ve tried holding down reset for 30 seconds as I ve read that you do this then press it again after the LEDs blink, but I get no blinks at all.
Of course it could just be dead.

Witson are a seller, so there are no Witson units, plus recovery is the same for all MTCD units.
And I answered you back when you first asked.
Or for those more adventurous - remove SOM recovery header PIN (see my MTCD recovery / bootloop post.) Solder wire on SOM 'recovery' pcb track, solder another wire to earth (-). Solder wires to push / momentary on switch.
Power on unit while holding button down. Watch unit boot into recovery every time!

Lol, similar to the solution for MTCB/C units then.
How to go to the recovery mode
I have a witson Android 5.1. RK3188. How can I get to the recovery mode?

No such thing as a Witson unit - Witson are a seller, they sell units from several manufacturers. you can identify your unit using the ketters after "MTCD" or "MTCE".
How to go to the recovery mode
Mtcd_mx_v2.59_1
Is this what you are asking for so I can go to the recovery mode?

Yes, you have an MX unit.
Do you have buttons or full touch ?
Have you read this thread and tried all methods ?

Same as any other ROM - put it on sd card, go to settings/about devices/updates, if it doesnt see the update use the recovery method.
Have you read the thread and tried all methods mentioned in it ?
If its rooted you can also use an app to get into recovery.

I really can't find the methods you are talking about. Can you post them or where to find them? Thanks for the help.

My last post IS the method.
I was able to use my car's radio power on/off button in my MTCD device's recovery menu without any problem when i first bought my device. From that time i installed every MCU update (my device is from Witson, i used Witson's MCUS) to my device.
Now i found that i can't use the same button in recovery menu. Problem is i don't know which MCU version i should revert. Everytime i install wrong version MCU and enter recovery menu => i must disconnect car battery to reboot my device.
Is there easier way?
Hi there,
i got a Vanku AA0611B heat unit a week ago. Rooting worked fine but yesterday i moved the default media player from system apps to normal apps and now i am stuck in black screen. I am searching for the stock ROM to recover. Also it would be nice to know if someone knows how to enter the recovery. The ways i found with holding reset sadly does not work.
Is it an MTCD/E device, post MCU version
How can i do this with black screen and not booting?
It is booting up again. Tomorrow i will look up the exact MCU Version.
The support sent me a link with the original firmware and the mcu image( https://mega.nz/folder/zCRizRAa#Fb966XsXBuTZDoVPS532mA )
The support told me, that the update should start automatically but it didn't. I had to enter recovery.
For others having problems: the manual says "Press Home-Button and hold, press RST and release, release Home. Press Home and release"
My problem was that i thought the Home-Button is the button which brings back the home screen and has a house-icon on it, but the manual is talking about the volume knob.
The SD-Slots are not marked. The SD-Card must be insert in the left slot.
From there you can install dmcu.img and update.zip within a few minutes
MCU Version is MTCE_HT_v3.71_1
So maybe a mod can move this topic to MTCE
My headunit have probem.when turned on android logo is displayed and when it comes to loading android it shuts down.even in recovery aprox 30sec and then shuting down. Tried few roms (flashed by otg) same thing. Any solution or what can be problem ?

Is the head unit an FYT unit
After 4 months, again same issue with "Boot loop"
I've tried again to enter in Recovery mode like the last time but for some reason nothing happened. I'm stucked now and can't run my radio and enter in Recovery mode also.
If I hold only Power button after 10 seconds keys blinking and that's it ... nothing more.
@marchnz About your question head unit vs FYT unit. I don't know, how to check that?
This is my radio: https://www.erisin.com/products/eri...ay-amp-auto-gps-4g-dab-wifi-for-vw-seat-skoda

Hi! i have the same problem with my Erisin ES8715V...it seems that we need original software for complete instalation. is there anyone who owns the original software?
