Other than the Battery status LED, is everything else working fine? Camera's got good performance, stable enough to use as main ROM?

When charging, it does not show the charging status. During installation, it did not automatically take the settings of the SIM card operator. When you press the mobile network switch through the notification curtain, the button returns to the off state (the Internet is working normally). There is also something wrong with power consumption and performance in games. And so the firmware is good!

Can I flash this over the pixel experience android 11 rom

I'm on Pixel Ecperience as well. Can I clean flash it coming from that rom? Or Do I need to install the stock rom again and then flash this?

As no one answered the last two questions...
My phone was on Android 11 Pixel Experience. Rebooted to twrp. Wipe everything. Format data. Connect to pc and transfer the Firmware. Flashed Firmware. Flashed Rom. As for now, everything is working. Start testing it as a daily rom.

In Czechia (EU) with T-mobile provide my cellular network doesnt work, does someone know how to fix it?

Awesone, works fine on my mi mix 3, just only have a question, when I look screen my phone I can turn off without password like no with the internet connection, for security I should also enter the password to be able to turn off the device. thanks for all.

this rom works fine on my device but the only thing is that the mobile data network does not work I tried removing the 2nd sim I had and it still doesn't work any solution for this? I tried to change network in the setting but it wont let me

Make sure you've got the correct APN settings installed. I had to set mine up manually

the battery drains quite quickly, lasts approximately 2:30 hours on screen.

Thanks a lot. Factory resetted my arrow 11, flashed this, format data and factory reset again and voila. Had to input mobile details by hand but that's ok, now all is good. Performance and stability fine, battery consumption ok. Keep it coming

excuse me, but may I ask what will be the device name after installation?

I just flashed the rom.
facebook it verifies the login even though i'm logged in it still reloads and tries to verify the login.
it doesn't seem to recognize trusted devices.

I have a similar experience. On top of that, the phone will turn off when reaching a low battery level. I wonder why some people have this issue and others don't. We're all using the same firmware..

Doesn't depend on 'the same firmware', everyone here adjusts his device differently, you find exactly this in every thread. Perhaps have a look at my post above, i come from arrow 11 and had no problems at all, e.g. charged yesterday morning, still have 63% and get at least 12h of permanently being on the net, downloading music, many times now. No stops, no reboot, no sudden death. It's an absolutely stable system - 4 me.

I can easily reach 63% battery in two hours while doing much, much less than that.

This is bomb, thanks a lot! The camera app crashes as soon I switch to slow motion mode, I'm unable to use it. Anyone experiencing the same?
Has anyone rooted and managed to pass SafetyNet?
Great battery life here too

Cyanogenmod 13 official - screen lock problems

Hello,
i did a dirty flash of a cyanogenmod 13 nightly (build 13.0-20151213) and I am facing problems with the screen lock not working correctly. Everything else works fine.
I think there was an issue migrating my profiles from cm 12.1 11/03: On the first boot, I was presented with a black screen and the only thing visible was the status bar and the back button at the bottom.
I could not enter the settings by pulling the status bar down, but I was able to interact with the tiles.
I had a tile to edit my profiles back in cm 12.1 and as it was also visible in cm 13 after updating, I used it to switch to a profile where screen lock is turned on.
I rebooted and was able to see the lockscreen, log in and everything was working well. Except for the profiles.
When I edit the profiles in the system settings, the option "lock screen mode" is grayed out and says "this profile option is disabled by a device administrator policy".
However, I am able to switch to my (old) profiles without any problem after the device booted and everything works as it should. Including that the lock is enabled with one profile and disabled with another. I can also add the "Lock Screen"-Tile and activate/deactivate it to enable/disable the screen lock.
But unfortunately, the problem comes back when I reboot: When my active profile does turn the lockscreen off and I reboot, I get the same error as stated above. This is solvable by switching to a profile (using the tiles again) which does lock the screen and rebooting again afterwards... This lets me use the device regularly again (switching profiles etc).
However, when I have the "Lock Screen"-Tile deactivated, the Status Bar becomes completely irresponsive after a reboot. The device boots normally into the home screen with all my apps and widgets visible. I can use any app normally. I just cannot pull down the notification bar. I did not find any workarounts for this yet. However, with another dirty flash of the rom, the behavior goes back to normal (normal means: profile locking the screen is active -> reboot -> black screen).
I already did a clean flash of cm13 some time ago (the profile stuff did work correctly there), but after setting up my profiles like I want them to be, and (dirty) flashing a new nightly of cm13, I got the same bug as explained above..
Another funny thing I noticed: When I am in the situation where I have the black screen after the reboot, all my apps seem to run normally in the background. I just cannot see them. I realized that because I get notifications from my apps (e.g. mails or messages when they arrive).
Does anybody have an idea of how I could fix this problem? Or am I supposed to do a clean flash on every cm 13 update? I always updated with a dirty flash on cm 12.1 and I never broke something with that behavior
tl;dr : dirty cm 13 flash over cm 12.1 on peregrine xt1039 -> serious problems with profiles.
Posting my question here because I have no permission to reply on the developer forum.
I clean flashed cm 13 build 12/14 now, because I was not able to find another solution yet. Screen locking works perfectly for now.
I hope that dirty flashing 12/15 does not bring that bug back.. when it does, I will post here again
Otherwise: This may just have been a strange error at the early stages of cm 13 when I first got the screen lock problem after a clean flash (and dirty update afterwards).
Fingers Crossed! :fingers-crossed:
EDIT: I really do not know why this did not happen on the first reboot, but it seems like that the problem still persists. Even after a CLEAN flash of cm 13 12/14! After the first boot, I checked the "lock screen mode" in my profile settings and it was NOT grayed out. Now, after the second reboot, it is grayed out again (and the corresponding bugs appear) saying "this profile option is disabled by a device administrator policy". :crying:
EDIT 2: Just checked whether I can disable the screen lock regularly by disabling it in Settings -> Lock Screen. This actually works But I want to use my profiles :crying: ..
Clearing credentials did not help, I do not have any administrator apps running (well.. at least I cannot see any but the Android Device Manager in Settings -> Security, and this one's disabled) and I also have no VPN configuration saved on my device.
Hi,
I had the same issue, but on Lollipop. What helped was Settings->Security->Uncheck "Device policy override". Good luck
Ya this works for me too. Found the solutions myself before reaching this post. I'm on CM 13.0 Marshmallow.

I don't know whether this works because Settings->Security->Uncheck "Device policy override" does not exist in any of my installations of CM 13 (or I am too dumb to find it ). But it is good to hear that this worked for you.
I did struggle about a month or so and always flashed the daily updates. At some point after I accidentally rebooted my phone while my normal profile was active, rebooting just worked fine. I don't know whether this is caused by the updates or whether I triggered anything in the settings which did help.
But however, this issue seems to have gone  At least on my device / installation..

Thanks for the screenshot.
However, I went back to the stock ROM a few months back and it doesn't have the device policy override setting.
I'll give the latest CM another shot in a couple of weeks, and post a reply then.

For me personally, I'm experiencing the same bugs that I did on LOS17.1.
-Arnova's advanced Gcam 1.7 doesn't work (HDR processing freezes, can't take video etc.)
-Stock camera works, but video can't be played in gallery app, must use third-party player
-NFC doesn't seem to be working (tapping NFC in the quick settings does nothing and remains gray)
As some may know, there's an issue I've had in LOS since v16, with notifications not popping up in deep sleep until I manually wake my phone. This issue is happily not present in this rom for me.
Anyway, thanks for your work on this rom @ROMSG. I do have a few questions though:
1. Is there a way to adjust the AOSP keyboard height? It's a bit too 'short' for my liking. The number row is a welcome addition, but it makes the keyboard too compressed than what I'm used to. I could easily just get gboard but if I can adjust the height, the AOSP keyboard would be good enough.
2. This seems to be with all android 10 builds, but there was a toggle for the default messaging app to enable pop on notifications while the screen is on -- however this setting is grayed out in all android 10 builds for the G5 it seems. I personally like the little drop down preview when I receive a notification/sms while the screen is on.
3. When I'm charging my phone, it says that it's slow charging. I'm using the original charger that came with my phone. FWIW, my phone was at ~88%, so maybe it was trickle charging the last bit? I'll need to test this when it's lower.
I'm using an RS988 btw.
for keyboard hight use google keyboart thas the best keyboard.

and for slow charging thats usb cable issue reinsert the c type cable and u shuld hear a click sound when u insert it in phone...

Thank You

Yeah I might just go with gboard.
The popup setting in the dev settings doesn't seem to work. Also I spoke too soon about the sms/deep sleep issue I'm having -- unfortunately I have it in this as well.
As far as the charging, I'll have to try it when I charge my phone next. I haven't seen this with LOS though. I noticed this in Blaises RR build, too.
All in all it seems like a nice rom.

If you have 16.0 go to 17.1 for sure.
But, if you still have stock or 15, and want your phone with no bugs, then don't install.
The bugs in 16 and 17.1 are not that bothering for me.
then main bug that bothers me is hdr processing in gcam and hd videos sometimes shows can not play..... except these bugs its a daily driver...

So I finally charged my phone just now from 16% charge, and initially it said that it was slow charging, but then it went to rapid charging. I checked again at 80% and it said slow charging again. I don't think anything is wrong or different from any other rom though, as it took around 1hr 20-30min to charge, which is perfectly normal.
Used this rom for a good day and half now and it seems perfectly stable. Battery life seems great, too. Hopefully NFC, the camera and my notification issue can get fixed (which are again present in LOS17.1 as well) and this rom will be a great daily driver.
So I've been experimenting with Treble on our g5 and so far I've got a treble-ized rom to build bu gsi's aren't booting I think it may have something to do with the error described in this commit. Any Ideas?
Thanks,
ROMSG
I love this rom. Thanks for making this.
There is an annoying message before showing lockscreen which says "press and hold power button to unlock". When I press and hold then I should scroll up, and then enter my pattern.
How to disable that first screen? because sometimes it doesn't allow the flash light to turn on with holding power button.

[APP][6.0+][ROOT]FDE.AI-v23.04.3 - Powerful AIO Android devices optimizer (20.04.2023)

ROOT access is required for this app!
This app automatically modifies wide range of low-level system parameters using ROOT access. By using this app you agree with EULA and any possible risks.
FeraDroid Engine (FDE) - an All-in-One ultimate optimizer for all devices running Android OS. All parameters are individual for EVERY device depending on it's hardware/software characteristics. All parameters are very balanced - you may gain performance without increase of power consumption AND reduce power consumption without losing performance. FDE.AI is totally compatible with very wide range of devices and Android OS versions. Very wide-range settings of OS and Linux kernel are configured, still being cross-platform utility, maximally compatible with all devices. FDE.AI applies configurations depending on hardware and software of device, so that in the end every device is configured individually. All applied changes are systemless (system partition is not touched). Some app features may not be supported on various CPUs/kernels.
Make a backup of your data just in case before installing this app. Don't use any other All-in-One tweakers with FDE.AI or things may get bad!

Bump of this thread. Updated docs & info. Pushed v9.2 free version.
I'm using 9.2.4 and I've noticed one bug which might or might not be of pure visual nature. Anyway when I select an app to be preloaded, upon next reboot this app is replaced with the one listed just above it...
Hello I've bought and use the app for some time, overall it's pretty good. However I want to know more in details about some of the AI function/options that's not really explained everywhere in more detail (afaik), some clarification would be great
1. the difference between normal and alternate doze (how they works and stuff)
2. toggle bg apps kill (#killbgapps / #dontkillbgapps), what's this? what's the default config for fresh fde and what will it affect?
Hello.
I'm using Poco F1 , with Official corvus os and greenify and no other mods and stock kernel. I installed the free version and now my charging speed is way to slow after the installation.
While charging I switched of the phone, only to see the phone automatically trying to boot and then showing the charging logo, after seeing it, I disconnected the charger and booted into system.
Please help op if you could fix the charging issue, I would really love to buy it.

Will check that. Actually preload is dropped after reboot, so it should be enabled manually after every reboot. Thanks.

1. In first case used direct force deep doze mode. On some heavy modified systems like MIUI this causes various issues, so i came out with another method - dumpsys deviceidle step x3 times - this avoids direct force doze but makes it skip idle wait, motion sensor check steps & go directly to light doze - this way it doesn't conflict with nothing, but may not work as well as expected. Simply - use alternatedoze only if you have troubles with normal doze.
2. #killbgapps executes only once you type it - it doesn't do it automatically. Issued 'am kill-all' commad which is nearly same as you'd clear all your recents, while cached data is still in ram.

Hi, maybe try to change kernel - in last FDE versions I removed anything that can be related to charging. If you will buy pro version, you can get refund if things 'll go wrong & you want to uninstall it. Thanks.
Seems working
I think i see some differences
Android 10 keeps applying restrictions for the app not use battery in background, after every reboot of the system, should I worry about that? Also, can I leave fde in that "optimized" list in settings/battery management?
Fde is amazing , thanks!

What's broken?
You tell me!
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Flashed today the 26th Nov build.
Used for about 2h, no major issues so far (I cannot change clock position is the major problem for now). Geekbench 5 reports 341 single and 1598 multi. I'll try to daily drive it from today

Hello! I'm here after 2 days of usage. Pretty stable ROM and for it's initial stage seems very good.
Spoiler: TL;DR of my experience if you're lazy
It's usable as daily driver, but can be better. Battery is good (for Mi A2 standards). No major problems, sometimes a little bit too slow. No problems with Bluetooth, GPS or 4G/WiFi.
With this post I'm trying to tell you about two "minor-major" problems I found in this build.
Some details about phone and build I'm having:
Model: Mi A2 (jasmine_sprout). Not converted 6X. Never replaced, never opened.ROM: DerpFest, clean flashed (formatted everything). 26th Nov Build (SD1A.210814.036.A8)ROOT: Yes, Magisk (with Zygisk)Bootloader: unlockedRecovery: TWRP 3.3.1-0Mods & others: Nova Launcher (I hate google bottom bar not being removable). For the rest I have a clean "Derp Android 12 UX". I just flashed the ROM, TWRP, Magisk and DISABLE_DM_VERITY.Main Language: Italian
But now for the problems.
1. Nuclear Power Plant Syndrome
Named like this because of the insane reported amount of mA and W on the lock screen when charging. Don't know what is causing it. I attach also a logcat (logcat_nuclear_power_plant.txt) before putting in charge and when charging, maybe it will help. When rebooted it shows correct values for like 10 seconds, switching again to Nucler Power Plant immediatly after.
Spoiler: Screenshots
2. Big cores "not working" (?) [see also EDIT on 10th DEC]
My big cores are all always at 1113Mhz and at 0% of use. They jump only for 1-5 seconds to 2208Mhz when opening an app, but then immediatly stops. This is very noticeable when opening SmartPack Kernel Manager. The cores are "sleeping" or they are not reported correctly. But doing things like recording screen and having SmartPack open caused a big slowdown of entire system. Also, when using heavier apps, like Coinbase that were very slow to open (even with my previous LOS 18.1) now are even slower (sometimes 40-50 seconds to load everything).
Spoiler: Proof of concept
EDIT 10th Dec
I partially solved the problem restoring all settings on SmartPack Kernel Manager, uninstalling it and then rebooting the phone. I'm not telling this is the solution, but maybe is correlated. Is not "as before", but much better.
Then, there are some problems that appeared in this two days, but was not able to reproduce them again. Just marking them out.
Clock not being set on CENTER or RIGHT: it just disappeared when set to things others than "left". It happened just when I installed the ROM and immediatly went to settings. When I wanted to customize clock position it won't change. I tried to do this again and again but after a reboot it seems to working properly.
Something crashed at first start. It was called "System Audio Synthetizer" or "Android Audio System" something like that. Never appeared again
One time when turning on GPS, the UI crashed and all screen turn black. After 5 seconds the phone restarted the UI and everything worked. No reboot, just UI restart. I was not logcat-ing in that time, so I have no proof for this, other than my experience.
The phone sometimes takes time to load emojis, like on Telegram. Maybe related to "Big Cores not Working"?
I'll continue to monitor the situation. If you need details or wanna teach me how to catch more info about problems, let me know: this is the first time I'm doing something like this and I have no experience on doing this.

latest build DerpFest-12-Official-Shion-jasmine_sprout-20220213-1252.zip after flashing gets stuck at boot logo .
Great rom is really fluid and smooth but am I the only one that have problem with mic gain?
I'm on the latest build (20220213) and everybody complains that my whatsapp voice notes are an incredibly low volume. In other roms I was able to boost the mic gain in xiaomi parts but we don't have it here. Would it be possible to add? (I would love to avoid rooting just to use a kernel manager). Thanks and great work <3
i have installed this rom as well as pixelplusui... in both rom i am not able to use wifi calling... wificalling is turned on but not able to use it... pplease help somebody
Please do something about continuously dropping performance
Each update makes it better but still . But it's still not good as compared to other Android 12 custom.
In the section of features is the best ROM now but can't say the same for performance
What are your plans for updates. Most of the others have dropped the updation support.

Very smooth ROM good job
I like custom roms, but non i've used have floating windows like miui. I can't live without floating windows since i love to multi task. You can argue that split screen is the same, but too me it isn't since i can move around anywhere. Plus it's easier to start a floating windows with the gesture than clicking manually to do a split screen.
if their's any rom that has floating windows i would switch in a heartbeat
Hello
I notice that Camera Google cant get update from Play Store, just getting error like " The application could not be installed" Any solution? Or which app for taking pictures right now is the best one that will use the potential of the camera ours X4 PRO?
is there a way to add dc dimming option? or enabling it in the rom?

Use the app list and enter settings to disable the GCam light as you wont be needing it, then go on whe web and download this version of Gcam:
MGC_8.6.101_A9_GV1zfix_MGC apk , should be around 101MB size.
All functions work, HDR works, google white balance is a little off but I work it around by using saturation in post processing via photos app.

I use it as a daily driver for 3 weeks now. Prime Video works, most streaming apps work, banking apps work. Bascially I didn't come across an app that I was using on stock that doesn't work.
Only feature I'm missing in this ROM is the DOLBY Atmos Audio. Other than that, the ROM is good.
I do notice that in my opinion, the battery life is a bit reduced compared to STOCK Android, especially when watching videos constantly. I ususally was able to charge the phone to 100, go about my day, use it daily, get 3 hours of youtube streaming on 90% brightness and come home after the day with 25-30% juice. Now it seems I get like 8-12% battery left at the end of the day. But If I don't watch videos or keep the screen on a lot, I thunk the battery runs even better than Stock MIUI. No idea where the difference comes from.

The last update broke the NFC module. Payments don't work, Quick Settings NFC tile is greyed out
Hey , I installed this rom and I got some bugs. When I scroll down the quick settings , I get some stutter and fps drop. My phone maximum brightness is reduced but the minimum brightness is also reduced . Dolby doesn't work ( but that's common ) . My phone was slow in all aspects. Aside from this I have a bug ( in custom roms and in stock roms) where Instagram reels will stutter if the video is high quality is this a software issue or an hardware one , because this doesn't occur on high quality videos on YouTube or Netflix or other ott platforms . Does anyone face the same issues ?? If you have a fix then please help me ( for the Instagram one and the quick setting bug in custom roms) , thanks... Peace

Same problem to me, any suggestion?
How do bank apps work on this ROM? I'm thinking about installing it.
Thank you!
PS: I see it broke the NFC module... Bummer. I would have LOVED having unlimited Google Photos without rooting my phone...
the latest update broke the NFC, it greyed out on quick settings. And also cannot install magisk module on boot.img, I've tried using patched boot.img and magisk zip installer from recovery, both ways give me zero result, the rom cannot be rooted, it worked before the latest update
This rom is almost perfect. The only issue I got is my 67 watt charger(charger in the box) only outputs less than 20 watts power to my phone when charging. Is there any workaround to fix this issue?
