Currently no, and AFAIK google removed this function in android 10. I'll still check if there's any workaround. Thank you for showing interest

Sorry I'm a bit late, not that active on xda these days. Could you try Changing the grid size in launcher settings.

In Germany many of us have prepaid plans that get charged every 28 days (4 weeks). Is it possible to add an option to reset the data usage plan every 28 days (starting on a custom day) ?

Great app for monitoring data usage, but crashing often... (when running in background, in settings)
Could you add a monthly plan from date to date (ex: from 15 to 14 next month, or choosing an among of days).

Hi,
nice app. I like this kind of apps - one target, no senseless cross-site functions.
One thing:
If the week starts (here in Germany with Monday) for the other days the last week data are shown for the whole day.
On Tuesday everything is fine - Wednesday to Sunday are clean.

Simple app that lets you see what locations have been cached on your android device.
You can take a look at them in a list (text) and on map.

- blocking for all devices with busybox installed
- fix for "no data"

FAQ
Can I block the cache without root?
Yes, disable "Use wireless networks" under "Location & Security settings"
But you have to live with a slower location lock on maps.
Showing Map does not work (Force close)?
You should update your ROM/GApps
Your device has a buggy Google Maps Library installed

I wanted to code it during this weekend... looks very nice to me, especially the map mode!
No Data until 9th of March only
App is working fine, and shows correct information, but only until 9th of March, no data logged afterwards (which i like).
Is this based on the fact that using Network for Location is disabled? I am sure it is.
What about GPS data? Where could this be stored?
BTW, blocking the kernel in Droidwall should help a bit, as it tries to send data to Google Analytics!
Cheers
Alex
Internet is only used for the map tiles
If you have disabled "use wireless networks" under Location no data should be cached.
There is no cache for gps locks.
Thank you for this app. Saves me the trouble messing around with python scripts.
Thanks for this, works great on my Dinc running CM7.
Wow, not a single record on my Desire!
*ifeelsafenow*
I'm scare....
mine says no data found, which I think is hard to believe because i have use wireless networks enabled in location services....
hmmm
Thank you!
I've been traveling this week, the info is.....startlingly scary, and fascinating.
Every Android user should install this!
No data??
No data in wifi or cell? Could it be because of link2sd??
Nice app, good for awareness. Everyone should opt-out of the Google location sharing if they are concerned about being tracked. They ask you regarding this
Mixed feelings about this.
This scares the **** out of me and on the other hand it's cool.
Wouldn't be good if we could delete the "culprit" files? Which are they? Is it easy to add such a feature in the app, or it will need s-off?

The files are "/data/data/com.google.android.location/files/cache.wifi" and "/data/data/com.google.android.location/files/cache.cell".
Just disable "Use wireless networks" under Settings -> Location & security and be happy... Google makes it your choice to store these information. If you don't want it just disable it.

Widget for Google Analytics

Hi,
I've created a widget to see your statistics from Google Analytics. The baseline of my widget is quick & simple ! You can configure the widget with few steps ! I've used the account manager system of Android to made the connection with Google Analytics API, your password is preserved !
If you can give me your feedbacks, it will be great !!
Download Simple Analytics Widget on Android Market !
Thank you !

I think its a very good idea, you offer an app very useful and i promise to test it and i hope adopt it
very nice looking widget! can you implement one with a transparent background? maybe give options to choose white/black text on black/transparent background. Thanks!
Great widget! This is something I've been looking for.
I don't know if analytics APIs allow but it would be awesome to also see yesterday's visitor numbers maybe as a smaller number on side or something.
Thanks for the app!
I take notes of your comments ahkwang and Leafhill. I think, I will add this
And thanks stylez for adding screenshot and link
Thanks a lot, this is an app i've been waiting for a long time!
i don't understand why google didn't release an app on android for analytics yet....
greets
Looks epic! very useful, thank you!.
i would live to see something like this but for adsense?
would that be possible? =)
is the whole data encrypted with google ?? im asking because there was a problem sometime ago about the authToken uncrypted data transfer for some google apps.
if this is 100% then i give you a thumbs up !!
@Sebianoti
I have to project to develop the same system for Google AdSense users.
@pflorin
The security issue was discover for Calendar, Picasa and Contacts not for the Account Manager. Furthermore, all API call by the widget works over HTTPS, so I think you don't have to be worried.

The widget is refreshed each two hours automatically only if the phone is wake up. So, don't worried about your battery life.
Hi, Brilliant idea... However, I have no more space for widgets, and have a few analytic accounts. Is it possible to make this into an app, with a widget feature? So I could open the app, and then take a look at my statistics, and then close the app, when I want. If not, thats fine, I will have to live with the widget feature.
Thanks, Matt
Hi,
I have added some new metrics :
- page views per day
- page views per visit
- bounce rate
- average time on site
- percent of new visits
Hello Guys,
Maybe you have got some troubles with the widget since mid-july... the version of the api that we used has been shutdown :'(
Since yesterday, you can see an update of the application on Google Play. The issue is solved, we have switched to a more recent version of Google Analytics API.
Enjoy
It seems that for now it's better to use Analytics Widget play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.nikas.analytics.widget, that's because it can represent your analytics data in chart view as well as simple numbers

I've tried purchasing the Full version of your app from the Play Store via carrier billing , on multiple ROMs, and the processing keeps on failing. I've successfully bought other apps recently via carrier billing, so it seems to be some problem specifically with this app. I'm on AT&T, with an HTC One X. Any suggestions?

I think it'd be useful also to have the battery usage, so you can see everything with only one app.
When it will complete, I'll buy the full version!
Keep up the good work!

Interesting. Sadly it's only in real time, and so you can't use it to test out too much, it's basically just the opportunity to watch your system idling. Probably better as a daydream,

Good effort. I am thinking of buying a ps100 -if I can find one under 30$- to use as an activity tracker and as a heart rate monitor with my galaxy s4 , when I workout.
I was wondering how you capture the data. Do you think there is possibility to invoke a vibration or led light when receiving a call or sms?
Hallo,
With the new Version on Google Play Store, you have all what you want.
Your pulsense become a notify when a call is incoming or when sms/WhatsApp etc have a notification. Look at the play store, there i write all the Features of MyPS.
Can your app be used to update firmware on the ps100?
MyPS can not update firmware. This procedure is only reserved original software. (Guarantee)
Ok. I guess I have to update first and then use your app. Thank you.

Do you plan to make use of gps data from phone? Maybe an exercise mode where it collects both heart rate data and gps in one file and displays basic info on the app while e.g. running (speed, heart rate, time).
If there is anything i can do to help with that please tell me.
Hello.
GPS support, I will not install now. Maybe if I have enough time ...
When you have your smartphone anyway this is a running app is a better choice.
Hi, I have installed your app for my father as it is so much more easy to controll than the Epson app, but if I try to go into the details of the sleep section it gives an error saying unfortunately myps has stopped responding and then the app closes. Any idea what the problem could be? Also I am looking forward to your next update, is there one due? thank you
I've just bought a ps100 and am looking at the sync options with Google Fit. I have two questions.
1. Do I need to keep MyPS open for real time syncing? I assume that when I close the app that syncing stops.
2. I have a Sony Smartwatch 3 which inputs steps into Google Fit. If I enable MyPS step sync will I get duplicate step counts or does Fit merge the data?
Sent from my SM-G920F using XDA-Developers mobile app
To 1. No, it is enough to have the auto download enabled in the settings. When MyPS gets the data from the PS-100, they are then passed to the Google Fit sync manager. This fixes the upload to Google-Fit. In the Android settings, under Account / Google, there is a point for Google-Fit. This must be activated, otherwise no data will be sent to Google Fit.
To 2. Unfortunately, I can not say exactly, as I google fit and the Pulsense no longer use. I think it is not counted twice

DOWNLOADS & BUGS/FEATURES SUBMISSION
- DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL the latest official update of the application from my github page
- SUBMIT ISSUES/WANTED FEATURES on my Discord Server (recommended) or on my GitHub Repo
This application was built with data gathered from official sources like WHO & CDC.
FEATURES
- access the main latest stats of COVID-19 Outbreak like number of cases, deaths and recoveries
- access the COVID-19 SELF TEST, a diagnose system which will show an estimation on how probabily it is for a symptomatic user to have COVID-19 disease. (NOTE: The test is not meant to replace specialised medical advisory)
- notice the evolution of the virus across Mainland China and the rest of the world
- check out the latest and most popular headlines about Coronavirus Outbreak, share them with your friends
- access the infection world map with detailed stats about each affected country
- get user-location based stats and prevention advice
- push-notifications about latest global/country/state statistics with selectable interval (15 mins, 30 mins etc.)
- update the UI by changing background particle settings
- in app update system
APPLICATION PERMISSIONS
Since you're not downloading the application from Google Play Store, you may want to know what permissions does this app require and when/where they are used, so here we go.
- Internet Permission -> Pretty obvious, it's used to gather and parse the latest COVID-19 stats, news & data
- Location Permission -> Disabled by default, users can enable it if they want to use location-based stats feature, since this uses, as you may expect, GPS Localization
- Networkstate Permission -> Used to monitor whether the application is/isn't connected to the internet, so that it will know whether to update the stats or not
That's all.
WHY IS THE APP CLOSED SOURCE? WHY DON'T YOU POST THE SOURCE CODE?
I have received these 2 questions a lot. The answer is that there are a lot of scammers out there in this period and I'm afraid they can modify the code to their benefit, so I won't be posting the source code, at least for now.
THE STORY & MOTIVATION BEHIND
Google pulled this application twice out of Google Play Store, stating that it lacks sensivity towards CoronaVirus, which is obviously not true, since all it does is showing some actual real and official data (from WHO.INT & CDC) about COVID-19.
As a result, I decided that instead of having a never-ending argue with Google Support & erasing more than 3 months of development (since I did everything by my own), I should post this application as it is here, without having to depend on Google.
The main purpose of this application was to help people have all the stats about CoronaVirus at a glance, on their android smartphones, but since Google did everything they could to stop this, I found myself with no other option than posting the application here, in hoping that the app will eventually fulfil its purpose.
SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENTAs every major step in life takes a huge ammount of time, this application was no exception to the rule.
If you enjoy it and would like me to continue adding more features, please make sure you
DONATE & SUPPORT THIS PROJECT
Thank you!
