Hi,
I've created a widget to see your statistics from Google Analytics. The baseline of my widget is quick & simple ! You can configure the widget with few steps ! I've used the account manager system of Android to made the connection with Google Analytics API, your password is preserved !

Great widget! This is something I've been looking for.
I don't know if analytics APIs allow but it would be awesome to also see yesterday's visitor numbers maybe as a smaller number on side or something.

is the whole data encrypted with google ?? im asking because there was a problem sometime ago about the authToken uncrypted data transfer for some google apps.

The security issue was discover for Calendar, Picasa and Contacts not for the Account Manager. Furthermore, all API call by the widget works over HTTPS, so I think you don't have to be worried.

The widget is refreshed each two hours automatically only if the phone is wake up. So, don't worried about your battery life.

Hi, Brilliant idea... However, I have no more space for widgets, and have a few analytic accounts. Is it possible to make this into an app, with a widget feature? So I could open the app, and then take a look at my statistics, and then close the app, when I want. If not, thats fine, I will have to live with the widget feature.

- page views per day
- page views per visit
- bounce rate
- average time on site
- percent of new visits

Maybe you have got some troubles with the widget since mid-july... the version of the api that we used has been shutdown :'(
Since yesterday, you can see an update of the application on Google Play. The issue is solved, we have switched to a more recent version of Google Analytics API.

It seems that for now it's better to use Analytics Widget play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.nikas.analytics.widget, that's because it can represent your analytics data in chart view as well as simple numbers

I have just pushed an update to the store which allows DealPad to run on Android 2.2+. This now allows approximately 95% of active Android devices to access the application.
To celebrate this release the Ad-Free version has been reduced to just 50pence.
As always I look forward to hearing feedback from you guys.

Amazing app, definitely the best “HotUkDeals” app on the market. However, I have a suggestion, would it be possible to add a slide function to move between panels?

Sorry just noticed your comment now. I have considered the slide between tabs. The reason it is not implemented currently is that when a tab is switched the deals are downloaded. So adding the slide to switch tabs doesn't feel right.
I will keep it on the to do list and see if I can cache some deals to make it feel more natural and fluid.
Let me know if you have any more requests/comments.

Ahh its fine. Could you not make the slide feature like the YouTube app? The page itself doesn’t actually freeze, so you still have the ability to slide/press a tab even though it’s loading. Caching the deals would be a good idea though, definitely more efficient.
By the way, I have also noticed the settings page doesn’t actually have a header?

By the way, have you thought about adding the ability to switch between holo light and holo dark themes. Just a thought

Yeah the way youtube implement it is nice. Sadly the way the deals are stored at the moment means I can't do that without changing the data structure which will be a bit of work.
Regarding themes, I am personally not a fan of holo dark but I have had a few requests so I can look into it. Unsure about black and orange though

Yeah I understand what you mean, hopefully it wouldn't be too hard to implement though as a slide function would be great. It would definitely make it easier to switch tabs on tablets.
The black and orange theme wouldn't be too bad in my opinion, not greatly important, but nice as an option.

and thars' the rub: I had "Carat" cite the Play version as well and I uninstalled it.
Onepower, a very promising app, also interacted with Superpower to create a big drain and heat problem.
All of these things can be quite useful but they MUST be very carefully tuned to really be solutions rather than part of the problem.

[APP][4.1+]Receipt (Updated 19-Apr)

Receipt is a small utility I made as part of my quest to learn programming.
It lets you create shopping lists and see your spending stats.
I'm preparing to release version 1.2 to the play store, but I need to test it for a while to make sure it's bug free.
So now, I'm releasing a beta of version 1.2. Version 1.2 brings a few new features. Among the big ones are :
4.3 and 4.4 compatibility.
A global monthly budget can now be defined; this is in addition to the per list limits already available since version 1.
Tags can now be assigned for each item. This lets you see spending by category in the stats tab.
Lists can now be sent to other people via the standard sharing menu.
If you come across any bugs or strange behavior while testing let me know by posting on this thread or through:

This beta drops support for 4.0 and requires 4.1+. I'm currently having some issues with ICS, but hopefully I'll manage to fix them and restore 4.0 compatibility before releasing the final version.

And may I give an advise/recommend a feature: let the user have a preset tax amount. Since most States here in US (or around the world) have different tax rates... so by the time you get to the checkout everything is added up correctly and kept on budget

Hi, I've tested your app. It's Very good but I missed some features.
First, for every purchase you do, the app should made a Product list in the background with all Products you've ever bought. Maybe depends on Mall. (An extra box for Malls?) So you can calculate how much your purchase will cost.
Second, how about a total amount per Month? How many money do you paid per Month, for example?
And another thing, may i can help you to translate it in German?

Found a little bug while doing some stress testing.
I set the budget to 1€, and added two massive values to the receipt.
The result was a negative total, thus not triggering the budget warning.

If you are a user of the Amazon app-shop like me, you may have encounter the same problem as me:
- Being "forced" to download the free app of the day to add it to your account
Well you can still cancel the download once it's launch, but hey ... it was bothering me.
So here it is, with "Amazon daily app" you can see what is the app of the day, add it to your account, or download it (still need to get it by the amazon app).
Feel free to leave me comments and remarks.
If you do like the app or just want to help, a nice comment/rate on the app sotre wil be appreciated
And if you don't like it, there's plenty of apps that will certainly suit you on XDA (but no rate & comment will be appreciated ^^)

I've been waiting for this. I use the "free app of the day" app, but they're mostly things I'm not interested in so it'll be uninstalled soon. I much prefer the Amazon free apps, but unfortunately this isn't compatible with my phone (HTC One).

Sorry about that ... I wasn't managing in the beginig all amzon stores ... but I do now ^^
It should be available when google bots update the application profile to all countries

It probably is more likely to be a version issue than a device issue. I'm on 4.2.2.

Nop, I've a GS2 under 4.2.2 and a LG 2X under 2.3
It's working fine on both ... from what I've read, It may come from resolution probleme ... I'll keep on the investigation ^^

Edit: Why does it need login credentials? You don't need them to find out what the free app is.

Not that the app is not useful but you can also bookmark http://www.amazon.com/mobile-apps/b/ref=topnav_storetab_mas?ie=UTF8&node=2350149011 from pc or mobile device to see the app of the day and "purchase" it without downloading. This will work for all devices period.

True, that's why at the beginning I only wanted to load the webpage, and play with custom CSS, in sort to see only needed information, and have a more user friendly interface. But performance wasn't really there, so I decided to go a bit further in the process
The other objective (not sure it should be done) is to automate all this process, and just grab every day the free app. This is only if I found a nice way to keep the session open (token or whatever)
@Archer: The credential are not needed to see what's the free app. It's only asked once you decide to "buy" it (for free) with your amazon account. Basically the credential is always ask to authenticate yourself to amazon website, as I don't want (for now) to store your password.

Hi there, little heads up for the last version which now can give you a daily reminder!

Some people did ask for it, so I added the possibility to save your password and so not have to type it each time.
The password is encrypted and save.
But still be aware that this is no safe mesure, and you should definitly use a dummy account for this.
