I have a Redmi 9 (Cattail) which I got to know was made solely for India and I'm totally lost since I'm unable to find any possible way to root it since it is not supported under TWRP or Orange Fox. Can anyone guide me through it?
It's based on Mediatek SoC, Hence you can try
Firmware Care
FirmwareCare is one of the ideal firmware download websites, serving Stock Firmware (ROM) for 343 Mobile brands in the World. The Stock Firmware shared on the website came with the Driver, Flash Tool, and How-to Flash Manual.

to create a matching TWRP
Is there any possible way to do so using Linux? Because I do not possess any windows device at the moment
IDK.

I want to flash my Huawei Y300 phone. For an obscure reason, It does not accept any rom. Apparently, the rom I downloaded are not compatible with my current configuraiton.
I would like to know if it exists an external flasher tool for Huawei smartphones? I used Odin with my previous Samsung device. Is there something similar.
I saw a tool called SP Flasher tool. I not sure it could be used for this Y300 device (Qualcomm chipset). Could it work?
Thanks.
Vodafone Smart V8 (VFD 710)
Specification:
You can find the specification for the phone here: gsmarena.com/vodafone_smart_v8-8744.php
Official ROM (Update.zip)
You can download the official firmware for the phone from the ZTE Device Support page: ztedevice.com/support
You are searching for VFD 710 when it says select product.
Rooting & TWRP
There is no current method available yet but there is the recovery.img which is available inside of the update.zip which can be downloaded from the ZTE device support page which should lead to TWRP being developed and then root can come along.
Please do post any successful rooting methods or port of TWRP as it can help many others!
PLEASE DO REMEMBER THAT NO ONE HERE IS RESPONSIBLE IF YOU MESS UP YOUR DEVICE IN THE PROCESS!
Is it possible to install the Google pixel camera and this phone?
Has cpu Snapdragon
Why no ROMs yet? It's a decent phone
Its kinda weird that nobody cares about that phone...
Yes, that was an excellent budget phone 3 years ago, but there was no solution for unlock.
I have an OPPO A73 CPH2095 6GB RAM, 128GB ROM, Qualcomm SM6115 Snapdragon 662 (11 nm) running Android 10, ColorOS 7.2. I have forgotten the 6 digit PIN.
Please I cannot use google recovery as I do not have any google account logged in on the device. I just bought the device on march was just using it for photo.
I do not mind losing my files, all I want is to gain access back to my device. I have tried unlocking with Miracle box but I keep on getting
CPUID 0xblablahblah
CPU 0xblablahblah
Flash your stock ROM through MSM Tool, you can't recover data form it.
You'll need the correct drivers to do that, and be sure you're flashing your device specific ROM.

I would like to increase the storage space in the root location of my phone. I have rooted my phone with magisk.
Yes, you can repartition the /system partition. Not only is it quite difficult and risky to perform it, it also requires specialized skills which the average user may not have. There is one solution to the problem though: Flash a Custom ROM.
I would love to flash a custom ROM but can't find any for my device. I have an Infinix smart 5 (x657c for the model)
Even a Custom Recovery like TWRP actually isn't available for this phone.
But you can try to make it at your own because phone is based on Mediatek chiset:

Due to the unpopularity of Infinix (&Tecno) phones, there's no custom ROM available for your device. Nevertheless, you should absolutely be able to flash GSIs [I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS, ONLY SUGGESTING!], because I'm sure that device is Treble-supported.
There're tons of very similar Infinix phones (Smart 4, Hot 8, Hot 9 & 10 Play) that have GSIs successful installed, you can check them out on YouTube.
Hello members,
Myphone: Galaxy A13 5G SM-A136B
I would like to use a 64-bit Android OS system with this phone.
The factory ROM is 32-bit.
I need a complete installation guide. And custom rom, custom kernel.
No one uses this? I won't choose another phone.
sorry i got one as a present but even thought i used weird aliexpress brand before (and acer) even though they had no guides i could follow the mediatek chipset guides more or less i hate brands like my first dvd player from sony complaining about region locks. I never had that before on the cheap stuff (just saying mainstream brands are usually more trouble and for more money.) but tried many of the same generated guides that say backup your phone before you start( i like that idea but before you can really backup you need root and fastboot seems to be non funtional these days cant we just mount a stock firmware img copy our needed root files in it and burn that like it is stock?) those img file are basiccaly just partions with files on it on intenal flash mem. at least i learned how to flash stock firmware after many failed root attempts and boot loops. i hope you find your info
