Were you successful in finding TWRP for Xt2141-2 ?
Codename "Berlna"
Excuse me cuz it took me extra second or two to hit the "X" on the extra ads that are on here now but as always XDA I support you!

I dug into this device. Ok so the model number is: xt2141-2 with the code name berlna. It has Project Treble support with ARM64 A/B.

No TWRP yet. Someone needs to create it first for this device.

Another way to find out the code name: take a picture and transfer it to a PC computer.
Use file - properties, switch to Details tab, scroll until
Camera model: motorola edge (2021) (berlna)

he messed with his phone i some strange way. recovery says the kernel (boot.img) is wrong / broken...
i would advice him (as he gets into the bootloader) to: unlock the bootloader 1st (so he can load a new boot & rom on this) he can do this via this bootloader & moto website
when he is unlocked he should flash a stock firmware via bootloader BUT he need to LOKK THAT THE FW matches HIS MODEL!!! instructions & downloads of the firmware can be found here in the moto g hread.
good luck!

Fire HD 10's & Vanilla Android

First thanks for responding.
I am a tech have used ADB and fastboot / rooting , but this is a step further for me. I have installed countless OS's on servers and PC's and ARM based SBC's.
I bought 5 Fire HD 10's over a period of time for the Family. Added google play store to them all. However this Fire OS is just to chuggy. Before I proceed I know I need to identify which ver I have np there.
Been looking and it looks pretty unclear how to just wipe out whatever is on the Fire HD 10 tablet and install a clean vanilla android OS. LineageOS looked promising but doesn't show in the supported list. I finally found a guide which leads me to the following questions.
1) Will the below guide work in providing me access to the device to install whatever OS I want?
See Attached Image its not letting me post outside links as a new user...
2) Is there guide for which OS's I should install based on my Fire 10 Version? IE what OS would you recommend? Can you provide a link to the downloads? I can find lineageOS already not sure on the rest though.
3) Assuming that my question #1 will work will the below link also as to installing the custom OS?
See Attached Image its not letting me post outside links as a new user...

Okay well the links IMG doesn't appear to be working.

If TWRP or custom ROMs exist for your model number of Kindle, do a Google search for.
"TWRP for (your specific model number)"
And
"Custom ROMs for (your specific model number)"
You need to know your specific model number, go to system settings>about and look around for your model number if you don't already know it, use that model number in your searches. If it exists for your device, those searches should find what you can use.

Did you find a way to unlock the bootloader?
I know it's not a theme but I have a problem with a device that doesn't have its own theme.
Vivo x27
Is there a possibility to replace the Chinese room with the GLOBAL. If yes where to search on this forum

Hello, I did not find great things but I saw that vivo starts to publish their .tar file (so must go to linux in my opinion) open source I give you the question link ( https://opensource.vivo.com/Project ) but there is not everything the phones but it's a start I must already learn C and C ++ coding or I don't know too much. I think this is a solution or maybe. be patient because vivo is strict in safety (like other manufacturers but worse). I will try to find if I have anything new but in my opinion as I just said must wait. * Sorry if the translation is wrong *

Question Switch firmware versions // Remove China censorship

Hi everyone,
i'm currently living as an expat in China and will do so for the next two years.
I bought a Samsung Tab 7 FE here in China and would like to switch my firmware version to the international or european one to get rid of the censorship and not being able to install certain apps like Maps etc.
I've read through the recent rooting thread, unlocked my bootloader and got Odin and Frija downloaded.
What i can't find is the international firmware version of my device.
To make it clear:
Model Number: SM-T735C
CHC: CHC
Frija suggests this file:
SM-T735C_1_20211123165801_q8v4albsaf_fac.zip.enc4
But this will probably just update my firmware to the latest China firmware, right?
I also looked on sammobile but they seem to not know my device...
It should now be possible to do what i'm trying to do, can somebody give me some advice how to proceed?
Thanks in advance, have been waiting since June to get rid of this firmware
Did you ever figure this out? I'm in the same position now and was looking for an answer to this too.
The "C" means you have a special hardware variant for China, it will not work with non-Chinese firmware. Your only option is a custom ROM, and with Samsung's recent moves against those, good luck.
Hardwarewise it's exactly the same, just got the restrictions on the software side. Unfortunately i've not figured it out yet @citizenjack, currently i'm using it only for media where i works just fine. I think sooner or later someone will come up with a solution
you can try this

Can you explain why you think this could work @chsey1 ? I'm afraid i'd brick my device, not even the model is the same.

This won't work as it's the "C" variant and it won't accept this firmware.

LG K52 unlock bootloader...just a dream?

A couple of days before the end of the year I bought an LG-K52 and started looking for information on how to root the phone.
I came to the LG Developers page with a message that it had stopped working.
I tried to make contact and I received an email "attach img".
There is some way to unlock the bootloader without the intervention of LG.
Any help is welcome. Thanks in advance.

Try my Guide for K41, maybe it will work (no guarantees tho). If you do decide to try, use the command
Code:
py mtk r userdata metadata userdata.bin,metadata.bin
to backup your data.(and flash it back later
Instead of :python mtk da seccfg unlock in my guide, you should use the command:
Code:
python mtk e metadata,userdata,md_udc
The addition of md_udc is important for some MTK devices.
