I have something installed on my stock fold 2 that continues to connect with my hacker. Even after a full reset.

I have not. And I know who the hacker is. She is the mother of my kids and is about to loose custody of our 3 kids to me. She is also a bit coin miner that hijacks devices to do her dirty work. She is very experienced and I know this for a fact. It's her job. I just need to know how to SSH into the memory that she put the script in.

She has been scamming me and harassing me for 9 months. Trying to get me to click on a fabricated email with script embedded. She finally got her way. Took her almost 8 months the of trying.
I most definitely have never installed any remote desktop server or clients but I know she has. I have found them and Uninstalled. Numerous times. She has been deleting recovery emails and adding saved passwords all day. And that's just today.
If she's such a pro, bring it to a real geek professional than relying on advice from forum. She might have copied it to some partitions which are not formatted by default.

I think you are right. I'll have to check with the fbi and make sure they are done making a copy. Homeland already made theirs. They are classifying it as an act of terror.

take your phone to pro, you are already sc***ed
And no a different phone doesn't stop her. I already did a burner phone with all new email addresses and my name no where on it

Great. Here we go. She is now back on. Messing with this forum for me. I doubt you all can see it but she is doubling up messages and moving my screen around. Crap. Oh well. If you want to email me. It's [email protected]
I did 20 to 25 full erase factory resets in a row. Still was back after the last one. I have 2 other phones she is in and 3 laptops as well.
how can you say so, plz send some screenshot. I dont think she did anything ...
I'm not exactly sure what you would like to see for a screen shot. I am running on a drive that is obviously emulated on my screen and supposedly I have 43 sensors on a fold 2. Maybe that's counting all the drivers for the sensors on my phone to connect to her phone along with all the sensors on her device. I know for a fact that at one point she had my OS running on an s21. She told me I wouldn't be able to prove it. I'm too stubborn to give up. Lol. Here is 2 screen shots. One is my hard disks and the other is my 42 sensors.

Yup. Sure thing. Whatever you say. It's very much real. It's actually very crazy. No one on here has offered me any real input. I'm not making this up. It is very much real. And although it is extremely difficult to do it is possible. Especially for someone that can program on the run and has professional and commercial experience. It's all good.
I'm not sure how she would manage to get on a burner phone too. I'm pretty sure it's possible to hack into a router & infect devices connected to it if you're using the same wifi network. You could try getting a new router & a new burner phone & don't connect any other devices you may have to the new router in case they're infected. And don't open emails from addresses you don't recognize. I would suggest going to geek squad or something like that rather than a forum though.
Ando do a malware scan on any other devices you have if possible. If you have another way to connect those devices to internet like tethering, you could try Trend Micro housecall. It's a free online malware scanner.

How do you know you're being hacked?
Tough to take this seriously and as fact.
But if you are, why haven't you gone to the authorities?
First of all this is fold 3 section not fold 2.
Secondly leave the phone to local police and tell them your wife or gf is hacking into your phone and let specialist att police go through your phone and if they find it's true they will grab evidence out of the phone and then arrest her for suspicious of hacking and they will use evidence when interviewing her and asking her that they found traces of her hacking the person's phone and such. Not last but least if higher up person decides to is do house warrant at her home so they will go home to her take all of her computer stuff including tablets and phones as part of investigation and they will check through all of them.
If you keep reseting your phone you are getting rid of all evidence from her and she will have lower chance of being sued in court and sentenced to jail for her criminal behaviour.
These sensors comes from your hardware nothing she's doing lmaoz. All smart phones have these sensors

Thanks for the heads up. Just signed up, it was easy as pie. Already have my SMS backed up and tried the remote location feature - it was accurate within a block, which was impressive. Can't beat the price, too!

everyone I know with android devices went and signed up after I gave them a quick demo.
If you uninstall this, then you're screwed? Can you ever get it back?
as far as I know signing up on the site sets up an account that is good for whatever sim you registered.
Also there is a an app on the market now that locks down your phone if wave secure is uninstalled! even more protection for your device.
You may not get the phone back but at least whoever steals it cant use it either.

If you mean as far as the free account goes, as long as you have created your account on phone and website, should be able to reinstall at any time.
Well they can hard reset, but a random thief/finder may not know that.

wouldn't that be the same as a remote with wave secure? I guess if they wiped the phone as soon as they stole it before you had a chance to lock it down. Once its locked they can't reset, or is there some other way to reset that I am not aware of?
Reset via the bootloader, indefensible.
How does this program compare to Mobile Defense? I have that installed on my N1 right now, but if people here like Wave Secure more, I might make the switch over. Thanks!
Get it while it's free and decide for yourself... you don't have to use it if you prefer Mobile Defence

Pull the battery?
Thanks for letting us know. It would be shame to miss a life time subscription on this.
That being said... i'm a bit disappointed with it. Location service is really bad... all it does it show your phone at the closest tower. It showed my phone almost a half a mile away. No way I would ever find it. Also, any command issued seems to take forever, or, as I just saw, not work at all "Your phone failed to lock". The first time it locked but took an abnormal amount of time (their words). I'm guessing its the fact that its a Singapore SMS coming into AT&Ts network.
None the less, it can only get better. Thanks again.

[GUIDE] Internal Memory Data Recovery - Yes We Can!
sent from my HAMMERHEAD neXus
The first thing to do would be to STOP USING THE PHONE. The more you use it, the higher the chance of the data being overwritten and thus unrecoverable. Remember, "deleting" something only marks it as available on the disk/flash memory.
http://www.icare-recovery.com/free/android-data-recovery-freeware.html
As above, if you carry on using the phone there's a chance you might write over the deleted file, any chance of recovery then becomes much more difficult, maybe even impossible. Try some of the software that's been mentioned above, if the files not been overwritten you should have a good chance of recovery.

correct as the past few posts say if you havnt overwritten that area of your internal storage where the video was saved you should no problem using some recovery tools to get the deleted information. I work as a security analyst doing forensics and e-discovery. I recommend the program r-studio to recovery deleted information. you will have to pay for it unless you can find a free copy on the internet.. lol but you can also get a trial of it which will let you recovery files smaller than like 1mb which might not help you but you can at least use the trial to determine if the video is recoverable.
You can also use diskdigger. The free version should do what you need it to

Thank all of you for your help. I tried several tools, with varying results.
Sadly I can't seem to get anything watchable back. I got a couple of bruises and my jaw still kinda hurts, but it's nothing permanent.
I got an app that can undo removal of photos and videos for the next time something like this happens, also I should be more carefull not to put myself in harms way again. People are unpredictable.

Seems like Google has changed how accounts are stored on the phone in 7.0. Backing up "Accounts" in Titanium Backup, which backs up accounts.db, no longer works. Seems that accounts.db no longer exists.
Anyone know where Google accounts are stored on the phone in 7.0?

That will never completely happen. Open source is seen as a security threat to many companies. BB is dieing off and will soon be a software only company. Apple will always have a place due to their security as well as most people prefer something that just works. I cant say I blame them as I have thought about it myself and you would be amazed at how many Android devs use an Iphone as their daily device.

I stumbled across this thread during my search, but while I found the answer somewhere else maybe it could help the next lost soul on it's search for revelation:
On Android 7, the accounts.db are now located on
/data/system_de/0/accounts_de.db And
/data/system_ce/0/accounts_ce.db
You'll need to copy both of the files to your new device, it worked for the most accounts. The only account I had to reconfigure was my email exchange
I have had many Google phones: G1, Nexus One, Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 5x, Nexus 6p, and now a Pixel, which I bought second hand, and have been using for about 4 months.
Yesterday, after an OTA, the phone died and I cannot fix it. I called Google. They say that because the phone is associated with another account, they cannot do anything.
They say the seller has to call them to transfer the phone to me. I contacted the seller, but so far no response. I hope she ends up responding, but if not, I will end up with a 500 dollars brick.
Terrible support from Google. My last Google Phone unless they change their support.

Could you elaborate on 'the phone died'? ... your post is very vague, so I think if you are actually in need of help (rather than just venting/complaining), we might need some details...
does your pixel turn on? ...
can you use 'fastboot'? ...
what was the OTA for? ... was it the oreo update or what?
I'm not surprised that google can't help you, if they see your phone as belonging to someone else, that really doesn't qualify as terrible support.
For all they know; the device could be stolen...
Anyway, maybe if you provide mire information here - someone can assist you...
That is not Google's fault! You should have done your homework and got it transferred it to your name. They don't know how you acquired the phone, you could have stole it in the street, google has no idea.
You will not be able to do anything until the previous owner login to your phone and then add yours. It happend to me also when I sold my 6p, did not know why the phone keeps asking my account name even after a full reset

I understand why you are upset, but this is really not Google's fault. Try to think about it objectively for a moment -- would you really want them providing support when the caller is not the person the phone is registered to/associated with? That would be a massive security breach waiting to happen.

It won't turn on. I can try power + volume down (or up?), and the Pixel will make a vibration, but it is not detected on my PC whatsoever. I have read over XDA and it appears the OTA killed somehting (boot loader?). It was not unlocked. The ota was not OREO, It already had OREO, it was the last month security fixes.
I mean I get your frustrated BUT try taking ANY product back to a store or contacting any manufacturer for warranty support without proof of purchase. You might be done with Google phone but all cell phone manufacturers would give the same response in an identical situation. Buying a used product unfortunately has certain drawbacks. Your lucky Google is willing to help if the original purchaser calls them. Best of luck.

I have read over XDA and it appears the OTA killed somehting (boot loader?). It was not unlocked. The ota was not OREO, It already had OREO, it was the last month security fixes.

OK. That's interesting that it vibrates... it must at least have some juice / can charge?
Try booting into safe mode or recover?
Did your phone crash while doing the system firmware update?
More stuff to try / to cover

Maybe methodically go through each step and see, if you notice anything... I know when I first installed Oreo, my phone didn't boot. There wasva few minute period where I thought it was bricked. I played with key combos, power button, charging, etc... but after a couple of minutes it booted (thankfully).
PS: to everyone not trying to offer some advice or help, cool it... regardless of the device being used or OP being frustrated, it would be better to either offer suggestions and/or help, or just not reply.

Yes, it is weird that it vibrates. I thought, maybe the screen is dead, but it is not recognized by my windows machine.

I really don't know what happened. It was working fine, it was laying on my desk, face down, and then I noticed that Whatsapp was disconnected. Took the phone and the screen was black. And it had never again turned back on.

I am so sad. It is a 500 hundred dollars paperweight. Google would do nothing, and the seller does not respond. I will keep trying. Thanks for replying like an adult.

They still don't know it wasn't stolen. The original person might not have reported it, a lot of people don't report stolen/lost phones. You should see if any other manufacture will help you without proof of purchase.

I had wondered if the screen died too... I guess another way to test that would be too see if you can get it to power up (regardless of whether the screen comes on, but it vibrates), wait a couple of min and try calling the phone? ... or go into your google account and see if you can 'find your device' / android device manager...
I mean, I would think if the device was dead, it wouldn't charge / vibrate... and that you would've seen a blinking red led when it was almost dead.... or the charging image when it's charging... odd.

Buying used stuff is always a gamble. I never buy used electronics.... I wonder if the seller knew there was something up with the phone? Mind you, it worked for 6months... just seems odd that they wouldn't reply, unless they used a throw away account for selling (which isn't uncommon, I suppose)...
Ya, no problem with replying. I think some people on here are just babies. They forget the XDA is a community, or maybe they just don't have anything better to do.

I don't usually do it, but this user has 756 positive reviews, the phone was complete and mint looking....

If you didn't reported, it is your problem, not mine. And also, why let me use it for 6 months, and then say we don-t know if it is yours? If you are going to implement a policy like that, do like apple does, and don-t let me use it whatsoever. If that was the case, upon receiving the phone and being asked for a password to unlock it, i could have contacted the seller immediately, and being covered by Paypal, nothing like this would have happened. But don't implement it like this which is very stupid.
Think for a moment. Haven't the phone broke, I could have been using a "stolen" phone forever, but since it broke, that is when they care. Horrible policy.

Well, then it's probably not a borked screen. Maybe if the firmware is corrupted, it's still allowing charging. Idk... it's too bad the pixel doesn't allow hardware reset (like my s5 did. Sometimes that made a difference, when it I messed up and the phone wouldn't boot).

Reviews don't mean much. They can be faked. Bots and the like... I would just avoid buying used electronics, in general... so much can go wrong, even with a brandnew phone. Hardware defects, firmware problems, etc, etc... buying stuff used is a huge risk...
I think you have a couple of options left, assuming you've exhausted all other avenues / troubleshooting;
1. You can bug google more and hope that you encounter someone sympathetic, after explaining that the seller hasn't replied / explaining the situation... some support people are more helpful than others, it might require multiple attempts.
2. You can take your phone to a 3rd party, but authorized google technician... they might have resources/tools not available to you or I... they might be able to determine the problem and fix it (but obviously, it will cost you).
I have done what seems like everything to save this dream2lte (it is an Exenyos from Mexico). The compass literally can't sit still and I have a low number of satellite locks on the GPS.
My amateur brain thinks maybe, just maybe it has something to do with outdated GPS models (old modem or bootloader ... Though I updated and I think I used the correct files to Sept 2022 in Odin for both extracted from stock.)
After that I really have no idea if CSC settings can play a role, if I monkeyed around there a long time back... I am also trying to use this Mexican model in Canada west coast..
Any pros out there know how to get some closure on this long running droid companion. Because otherwise the phone is more than I need. A broken compass or at least one I can't use is starting to become a deal breaker.. Lol
Yes, don't bother. Start checking other phones, why holding yourself back with a half-ishly working device.
Fun fact: Had so many devices that I kept and waited for to improve/repair. Never happened, NEVER. They only lost in value... and that's totally not worth it.

I just wouldn't accept defeat but it sort of isn't worth it anymore as their is essentially nothing you van do it seems.
Move on and stay on the lookout for better devices

Yeah, exactly that happened to me - see it as a win for yourself: less trouble, peace of mind
PS: Truth to be told, just last month I found a box with 3 nokias, 2 sorta ok-ish, one disassembled... just tired of such space hoggers *sigh*
