How do I make them work together?
Whenever I connect the camera it gets identified as a headphone.
Soyes S10-H is a 3.5 inch Android 9 Phone with 3GB Ram and 64GB Rom, No 3.5mm jack, power and volume rockers, and a microUSB jack for charging and connection stuff.
Qube 360 Camera is I guess a knockoff of the Insta360 Air which is a 360 camera that works only when connected to the android phone via the charging port.
The Camera works on my Xiaomi Mi Max 2.
The camera also uses it's own app to detect it; EZ Pano by Eken Electronics Lmtd. on the Google Playstore.
Any insight is appreciated, thanks!

Hi,
I am looking for tablet to use in my car - I want it to be a multimedia device used for playing audio /or/+/ video (outputting it to rear-seat monitors as well), being ready for usb stick connection anytime and have dvb-t tuner connected 24/7.
Now after a long search I cannot really find a tablet that's around 7-8 inches, is powerful enough to handle full hd mkv's, and have mini hdmi along with double micro-usb otg, so I can have both usb stick and dvb-t tuner connected, and still have car charger attached to it, so I thought someone here may be able to help.
Anyone?
how about this tablet?

That won't work smoothly with 1080p high-bitrate video for sure
I gotta admit there's [probably] no high-end tablets with separate hdmi out currently on the market, I keep searching and searching and nothing comes up...
ntdm 3000 is a cheap chinese tablet which i use its great for 1080p on bs or mx player,.
idont know if its hdmi though.
Yeah, it doesn't.
The point it it does not need to be cheap - but there's none with hdmi out.
Found some of the tablets by "KURGER & MATZ" to have 2 micro usb ports but... they don't have both gps and bluetooth

Nexus 7 2012 has mhl (HDMI through USB port) and DVT tuner support and has car specific roms . Samsung tablets (8 inch and up) all have capability also . older 7 inchAcer a100 has HDMI and a500 10 inch. Nexus 7 2013 has slimport (newer HDMI through USB) capability. Slim port and mhl plug are only around 10- 30 $ nexus's and Samsung both have USB host and charging at the same time capability (need for DVT support) there is still active development on the old nexus its the one I'd go with. And its pretty easy to solder to the volume and power buttons so u can permently mount in your dash...
HDMI throught usb doesn't do the job for me.
I found only one tablet actually that fills my needs - Chineese PIPO T9.
One thing that sucks, is that it has 4.2.2 and they don't plan on any updates to kitkat.
Aside from that, it has everything needed.
http://www.pipo-store.com/pipo-t9-t...hone-call-tablets-gps-bluetooth-2gb-32gb.html
Separate charging port, mhl-host usb, hdmi, aux, octa-core.
Anyone has better ideas?
In case anyone googling the topic wants to know how I sorted it out in the end:
Bought PIPO M7T tablet (t9 turned out to not have separate hdmi out),
upgraded it with stock rom to 4.4.2.
32 GB MicroSD.
Full HD, even with very high bitrate plays smoothly there.
Has usb otg, hdmi, aux and dc connectors.
Got headphones out connected to aux in my car,
HDMI out heads to hdmi->av converted and goes to car av inputs.
A USB 2.0 4x hub is connected to micro usb, to which I have connected dvb-t tuner, hdmi->av converter power cord and any pendrives I want.
Tablet is constantly connected to external power using DC in.
Works superb, couldn't been better.
I got a selfistick with a earphone plug and I can not get it to work on my Nexus 4 (5.1.1, LMY47V, rooted)
I tried the stick on a Samsung S4 mini (android 4.4.2) and it works. When I plug it in I get an earphone icon on top of the screen and can take photo's by pushing the button on the stick.
But on my Nexus nothing happens if I plug it in. I tried an earphone and that is working fine, it is switching between speaker and phone.
I used Camera360 and Selfishop Camera.
Do I miss some setting or is the N4 not capable to work with a selfistick with an earplug connection?
Found a sollution after testing several earphone buttons en BT buttons.
Finally found one BT button which works with Selfishop camera. It costs less than € 3,-
With no headphone jack - and at times a need to charge and listen - it is either bluetooth headphone or getting a usb-c dongle that does both charging and headphones in one ( for nighttime - for car). I am less of a bluetooth headphones guy ( hate to have to deal charging headphones) so was looking for a simple usb-c splitter that does both headphones and charging. Trouble is there are articles and reviews stating how many of the these dual usb-c dongles do not work (they do not charge) on many different kinds of phones . Has anyone found a good one that works ( charges while listening) on the mi A2. I see this has better ratings than many others.
Can anyone also reccomend a good working faster charger for the mi A2
if you're looking to use the phone while driving car, you could always get a bluetooth module to hook on your aux input.
as for charging it, really you could just hook up the module to your car charger all day, it won't damage it. Maybe just use those lighter charger with multiple usb in it, so you can hook the bluetooth module on one port, and the other port for your phone.
I have done reviews of the Soulsound Dongle on Essential and Pixel 2 and I am impressed. Fast charging works on both those phones and sound quality is amazing.

im looking thinking about this adapter

I can confirm that the Baseus L45 Type-C Male to Type-Female + 3.5mm Female Adapter works flawlessly on Mi A2, running stock Pie 10.0.2.0. I can do voice calls (both phone calls and games, tested with PUBG Mobile) and charge at the same time. Mic works. I use a Xiaomi IEH Pro HD, headset remote volume control works, middle button works to bring up Google Assistant. The adapter costs me $5 in Indonesia.

Volume might be a little low (around the same as the stock dongle) but that is due to a software bug on the phone that followed EU's low headphone volume regulation regardless of whichever region we chose. @onbeskarakterli fixed the bug through a Magisk mod (needs to unlock bootloader and root): https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a2/themes/magisk-low-headphone-volume-fix-t3886008
Now it sounds AWESOME.
i have usb c splitter brand ugreen, and it doesnt charge only headphone is working, tried several other brands still wont work, anyone has any idea?
I got a USB-C hub adapter that has USB 3, SD card readers and HDMI out, but it doesn't seem to work.
No video out.
Are there any settings I need to change to make it work? Any OTG settings or something?
This is the adapter I have.

The first one on the left.
Nope, it seems it was either disabled in the kernel or the pins weren't configured to enable DP Alt Mode.
I have usb c with my dell monitor and I can confirm it works fine. It screen mirrors it.
Even the hdr works from plex, emby etc.
My Samsung tab s6 has it disabled, so annoying.
2 conflicting answers, I guess your best bet @samusx is to buy it & try it yourself, good luck!
No issues here
It works for me as well. I connected my Oppo Find X2 with a USB-C hub and then with a regular hdmi cable to a cheap beamer and it worked fine.
Good luck!
[edit] I have a Hyperdrive USB-C connector [/edit]
Works fine here.
i have one. it's work on Android10. but no work on Android11.
I got a USB-c hub including an HDMI out, and it does work.
My X2 Pro is currently on Android 10.
When the update comes out eventually for my phone and I update, I hope it still works.
Hi everyone!
Please, Android 11 is it possible the HDMI output? Oppo find x2
Works on android 11, this is how I play cod mobile using xbox controller. Maybe not all USB standards are the same. Like not all USB-C to 3.5mm jack are the same. Make sure you try more adapters/dongles.
Does the video out (USB-C to HDMI) functionality still / again work with ColorOS v13?

Not sure if it still helps you, but I just tested it after breaking my screen and plugging it into a usb hub with HDMI connected to a monitor. It mirrors the screen just fine.
Hello guys,
few days ago I was forced to buy a S22 Ultra because my good old Note 9 stopped working and thanks to my S-Pen daily usage i didnt have much other options...
I moved over most of drawbacks of the S22 Ultra but another thing is the lack of 3,5 mm audio jack...
I found out on Aliexpress a very nice adapter that has a "T" shape that allows you to charge phone and simultaneously use the audio jack on the other side. Very convenient!
Hoewer it has a drawback. I cant leave the adapter in phone while i dont have the earphones plugged in. The issue is that phone doesnt detect that earphones are not connected and still plays music in it and sends audio there instead of the speaker. The adapter uses standart REALTEK ALC5686 chip that has Jack detection that should switch the chip to low power mode when jack is not present.... It is possible that this is not connected in my adapter... I am planning to tear the adapter down and study the circuit as the last option....
So my question is, is there any way how to force phone to manually switch audio output from external DAC to Speaker and vice versa? Yes I know we can switch automatic routing to USB DAC off but in that case you cant manually somehow tell the phone when to use it and when not? Do all external DACs work this way? There are app fot this that worked on older Android but not at the version 13.
Thanks!

The problem I see is that the output or charging connection is not valid as a sound input, it is only valid for charging, that's why it does not detect the headphones.
Install smart things app. Then it will show in the task bar "media output".
