I installed ArrowOS ROM but get NO SIM CARD and the mobile network option is grayed out in the settings but when I go to my quick settings panel I see my carrier "US MOBILE" anyone know why this could be happening? The only working SIM rom for me is crDROID and LineageOS, but I want to try something different since my phone calls instantly end when i call someone on CRDROID and lineage has a random reboot issue.
Edit: OnePlus 7 Pro GM1915 MSM -> GM1917, updated to Latest OOS before flashing rom
Just in case you are still having issues/ Anyone else stumbles on this post as I did. I struggled with every ROM I installed to get the SIM status to show and the SIM card to register. Here is the steps I took to get things working
(REMOVE SIM UNTIL TOLD TO INSERT)
1. Use MSM tool to restart from a fresh factory image
2. Go through Initial setup
3. Update to latest version of ASOP in preperation for flashing ( For me this was Oxygen OS 11.11 )
3. Reboot to fastboot
4. Flash recovery ( I used Pixel Experience Recovery image for Project Elixir )
5. 'fastboot reboot fastboot' - Reboots to PE fastboot
6. Flash recovery to both slots - 'fastboot flash --slot=all recovery recovery.img'
7. 'fastboot reboot recovery'
8. Sideload the ROM: apply update/ adb sideload -> 'adb sideload rom.zip'
9. Wipe data/format
10. Go through setup, when instructed insert SIM card
Hopefully this helps someone who ran into this issue.

I'm trying to get nethunter installed on this oneplus one I have come across.
Android ver 5.1.1
android sec patch level December 1, 2015
OxygenOs version 2.1.4
after " fastboot oem unlock" twice completes in 0.00 seconds then "fastboot reboot"
I then reboot again into fastboot and "fastboot flash recovery flash twrp-3.1.1-0-bacon.img" completes in .344 seconds (or something like that)
when I reboot from advanced reboot menu to recovery it still shows stock recovery.
when I reboot from "power-vol/down" still shows stock recovery.
do I need to restore device to factory original? (if possible) I installed nethunter 3.0 on nexus 7 tablet with multirom. was hoping to do the same with opo.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
I guess it thought it was going to be a strait forward, of
A. Flash twrp
B. backup image and flash cm13
C. flash su if not burned into rom and install busy box
D. install multirom manager
E. install nethunter zip from multirom-twrp
got stuck at step A. lol

Flash TWRP again and this time instead of rebooting, just disconnect your device and press power+vol(-).Are you sure you're using Multirom-TWRP?

thanks that did it.
I have had success flashing two ROMS (Lineage OS with MicroG and HavocOS) so far, but at some point, I am now getting nowhere fast trying to reinstall either of these after several clean attempts. I keep ending up at a black screen with a blue light and no more TWRP and no more bootable OS.
Here's what I did...
Starting fresh... Used MSMDownloadTool V4 to install OOS (enchilada_22_O.09_180517) then updated with local update file (OnePlus6Oxygen_22_OTA_030_all_1904032206)
Then, enable developer options, OEM unlock, USB debugging, advanced reboot
Reboot to fastboot and execute "fastboot oem unlock" in Powershell with admin rights
Reboot to OOS, then check developer options again, all good
Reboot to fastboot, execute "fastboot boot twrp-3.2.3-x_blu_spark_v9.91_op6.img"
Reboot to TWRP, install Magisk-v19.2.zip, reboot to OS (to verify root)
Reboot to TWRP, install ROM zip, then install twrp-3.2.3-x_blu_spark_v9.91_op6.
Select Reboot to Recovery within TWRP
And then.... black screen with blue solid light. Can't load TWRP nor can I boot into OS.
I have also tried wiping during some of these attempts and that didn't help. At one point, I had a bricked phone with no bootloader/fastboot, but saved it with the MSM tool.
Can someone please tell me what am I doing wrong? I see some ROMs (such as Lineage0S 16 with MicroG) saying to install a stock OOS twice along with TWRP, then the LOS ROM+TWRP, but I could never get beyond the first attempt at installing stock ROM+TWRP. Same thing happens.
EDIT: Resolved below.
Do you have magisk installed after reboot twrp ?

What I did is this...
After your first step which is "Starting fresh... Used MSMDownloadTool V4 to install OOS (enchilada_22_O.09_180517) then updated with local update file (OnePlus6Oxygen_22_OTA_030_all_1904032206)", I install again the "OnePlus6Oxygen_22_OTA_030_all_1904032206" to follow the step that requires flashing OOS twice.
Then I followed the steps in https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/how-to/tutorial-decrypt-flash-rom-pie-oreo-roms-t3838643, this is to decrypt my device and to be able to flash any ROM infinite times without corrupting again my device.
I suggest you use a newer MSM tool to restore to stock. Then, do local upgrade twice to install the zip on the both slots. Then proceed to unlock the bootloader.
Anytime u flash twrp u need to flash magisk too (no need to reboot if you are using the same slot before flashing magisk) , I think on the last step u forget that
Just boot to twrp and flash magisk again
I wrote that before ? 2e post
Thanks for all the tips. Finally got it working. This is nothing like the Samsung phones I'm used to.....
Here is the process I followed and I finally have a working system with the Havoc Rom, MicroG, the blu_spark kernel and magisk:
MSMDownloadTool V4 to install OOS (enchilada_22_O.09_180517) then updated with local update file (OnePlus6Oxygen_22_OTA_030_all_1904032206)
Unlock booloader
Flash TWRP
Reboot to TWRP and flash oos 9.0.5 ota zip and flash TWRP
Reboot to TWRP
Flash oos 9.0.5 ota zip and TWRP again
Reboot to TWRP
Factory reset
Flash ROM
Reboot TWRP
Flash Magisk
Flash Kernel
Reboot to TWRP
Flash microg
Resume normal life after two excruciating days of failed attempts
Hello, i have tried to update to the latest crdroid "april 23" zip and it has made my phone unbootable. After i have finished flashing rom and recovery flasher, i have not been able to decrypt my phone after the reboot to recovery to try and install gapps and magisk. I've also tried to boot to the rom and it has only showed a black screen, and after that it reboot to recovery. The decryption message has appeared again when i did that and after i decrypted and flashed the other stuff i have not been successful to boot to the rom. I have then once again tried wiping and flashing rom and recovery and reboot to recovery again, and again the decryption promt did not appear. After that i've tried booting to system once again and it appeared and after flasshing the stuff again it still has not booted. I've tried downgrading to the previous version when i wiped instead of the newest one and reboot to recovery again and then it didnt show the prompt. I tried rebooting to system again to get the prompt to decrypt but now it doesn't appear even then. I've also tried using the command "twrp decrypt (my pin)" and it gave me an error. I am now in school and cannot do anything untill i get home but even then my computer monitor has been hit and now doesnt function so i cant even do anything via ADB. I have another computer and monitor and im thinking about using it instead. Can i get a step by step on how i can get my phone to boot once again? Even if i lose all my data im fine with it but i prefer not to since i have alot of pictures that i really wanna keep. All help is appreciated. Now that i cant boot to the rom i cant use telegram on the web either so im completely ****ed. Cheers!
An update .zip is always installed to the inactive slot. Start TWRP and open the reboot menu. Change the slot back to your running system. From there you can try to find the reason why your update fails. You don't need a decrypted TWRP for this.
You can also change the boot slot via fastboot command
Code:
fastboot --set-active=a (slot a)
fastboot --set-active=b (slot b)
-or short-
fastboot -aa (slot a)
fastboot -ab (slot b)
I just bought this 8T (KB2005) and applied the latest OTA update and it seems not to have a Recovery installed. Is that possible? I have unlocked the bootloader.
If I try to boot into Recovery it gives me a screen that asks if I want to reboot into recovery or fastboot. If I choose recovery, it will reboot back to exactly the same place I just came from.
It will boot to fastboot if I choose it. Also the key combo with power off will take me to fastboot. From adb it will reboot to the same screen I mentioned above asking me to choose recovery or fastboot,
I am coming from a OP One that I bought new in 2015. It has TWRP, is rooted and running the latest LineageOS 18.1 nightly. I was not expecting to find no recovery for th 8T. It does not have the usual recovery basic options anywhere?
What am I missing here?
Slot B is active so I assume slot A had the original OEM OOS and the update went to slot B and it is now active. Is there any way to determine what is in the inactive slot?

The OOS recovery it's basically useless and LineageOS is only marginally better (it allows ADB) but nothing like TWRP. There's no TWRP (yet) for the 8T.
You can find out the active slot by looking at getprop ro.boot.slot_suffix or, if you're in the bootloader by fastboot getvar current-slot.
So this came from trial and error and being stuck on Fastboot Mode for about 3hours.
I accidentally did Fastboot Flash Boot on an image file, then did it to both slots using Fastboot Flash Boot_A and Fastboot Flash Boot_B...
Needless to say. TWRP recovery didn't work, MSM(I couldn't get to recognize my device), Stock recovery didn't work(obviously) and Lineage recovery didn't work.... WAIT FOR IT......
So if you are stuck on ANY bootloop and can get to
Fastboot Mode... You are good.
Use at your own Risk, Done on OnePlus 9 LE2110 Model
- Restart to fastboot mode
- use command "fastboot flash boot "Lineage recovery" the one from crDroid.
- Now I did both slots a/b just to make sure.
- Once you get into the Lineage recovery Factory Data Reset/Format Data.
- Then go back to Apply Update, using sideload...
- Now use command "adb sideload "crDroid ROM"
Whichever version you downloaded.
- Then flash MindGAPPs from the crDroid thread..
- I also flashed Magisk.zip
Now once that's done and your fully booted up to crDroid. Your Golden...
- Boot back to Lineage Recovery....
- Factory Data Reset/Format Data
- Apply Update
Now download the latest Stock OxygenOS OTA zip...
- Use command "adb sideload "latest OTA.zip"
BAM!
It will verify all signatures and install back to stock OTA.
Thought I would share this with you because I was frustrated for hours..
Hope this helps someone.
