Alarm clock problem - Google Pixel 4a Questions & Answers

Alarm clock problem! For some reason, the alarm turns on 2 hours earlier than I set it. What is the problem? I checked all the settings, time zones - I don't understand what's the matter
Many thanks!!!

Mystery Alarm - same time every day

I have an alarm that sounds every day at the same time, but it isn't listed under the alarms from settings or from the alarms in the slider panel. I set the alarm a week ago but can't remember doing anything unusual that would have made it disappear.
Anyone know where the registry setting is for the alarms? Anyone have any other solution?
I am using one of the pre-rose clean builds.
you can try lite SKTools - load it and
check for “Clock.exe” (these are the "phantom alarms" in the notification queue)
remove the phantoms
set alarm clock again
nice work...

It worked. I had to run SKTools a couple of times but it removed the alarm.

[Q] ICS ROM Alarm Bug

Here is an issue I have noticed that is not unique to this ICS ROM.
I frequently (every night) use voice actions to set my alarm. It's amazingly convenient. I have noticed that the voice action completes, you click set to confirm the correct time and the dialog pops up that says "alarm set for x hours x min". But the alarm does not always 'stick', you will notice the alarm clock will not appear in the notification area. Under clock > alarms it will show the correct alarm created and the box checked but the system does not really have the alarm set ( it wont actually go off). If you uncheck and then recheck the alarm will 'stick'. This doesn't happen every time but often enough to force me to check before I go to sleep. Any ideas what may be causing this?

JB Stock Alarm Clock

I can't get the stock alarm clock to work (using the Clock application).
I first tried it when I took a nap, I told Google Now to set an alarm clock for a certain time. I never woke up so I tested it out a bit.
The stock alarm clock, when it reaches the time, will ring for a split second, then stop. It will not ring for any more. The alarm appears in the notification as if it is working properly, asking for dismiss or snooze. But it just won't play.
Any solution to this?
I have the exact same problem...

The issue is with screen lock, try to disable screen lock and it should work, I believe there is one more type of screen lock also work, but the rest bom out. It's a bug with JB.

[Completed] Note 4 alarm icon is on status bar even though I ha no alarm set

How do I get rid of my alarm icon. I don't have any alarm set never did it just came on the other day and I can't get rid of it I go into my clock app and there are no alarms set
I fixed it
The icon was lit up because I have a schedule recording on TuneIn Radio. Never had it before guess it's a new thing since I updated the app last week

Xperia Z3 Compact: Marshmallow: Missing Alarm Notification

The built in alarm clock in Marshmallow is working fine for me. However one function has been disappeared.
I often snooze the alarm, and then want to dismiss it before the end of the snooze period.
Example: Get alarm or snooze display at 10 o'clock. Choose snooze, so alarm will go off again at 10:10. But at 10:05 I decide I don't want the alarm any more and want to switch the snoozing off and dismiss the alarm.
In previous version of Android, this was easy. Whenever phone was snoozing, there would be a notification in the notification pull down screen that I could just tap, and that switched off the snooze and dismissed that alarm.
In Marshmallow this has disappeared. There is a workaround by going into clock settings, switching the alarm off and then switching it on again so it would work the next day. But this is very clumsy.
Does anyone know how to get the notification back so it works as before?
Solved
After hours of changing app settings, and system settings, I finally tracked this problem down to Clean Master. There's a setting for battery optimization in Clean Master which had been switched on and which I switched off, and the snoozed alarm showed up in Notifications as it always had before.
Warning: I had never used Clean Master although it had always been on my phone as I downloaded it early on. Something changed this setting, it wasn't me and it was not using Clean Master.
I have noticed that changing certain settings can populate other apps with changed settings. No way of telling this has happened or which apps. I would say this is a major drawback with Android. Or downloadable Apps.
