The weather app on my GW4 is not updating as schedule. I have it set to update hourly. However, it is only updating when I go to the tile and refresh or open the app. My watch is up to date and all apps, Samsung and Google Play, are up to date. I have tried toggle the setting on the update schedule to none vs hour. I have even factory reset my watch and set it up from scratch. The weather app also has all of the permissions set correctly. Any suggestions?

after getting the OTA 3.1 update the weather widget will not refresh to the correct location. GPS and maps show me in the correct place but the widget will not refresh to my current location. It is stuck on the previous city I was in.
Anyone else having this problem?
It only updates every few hours by default. You can change this by clicking on the widget and changing the refresh interval.

I was doing a manual refresh. After doing it about 10 times it finally refreshed. Not sure what the problem was.
The weather widget is not showing the right time. My system time updated for DST, but the widget will not.
I tried:
Restarting phone
Setting/unsetting "use location" in app settings
Removing and replacing app
Setting/unsetting automatic DST in phone Date/Time settings
Probably other things too.
The phone updated the time, but the app doesn't. The lock screen uses the system time, and the clock is in the same position, so when I unlock the phone it looks like the time skips ahead and hour.
Any help is appreciated.
Working now
It took half a day, but it just started working correctly. I didn't change anything. Strange. Maybe a manual refresh of the widget doesn't sync the clock, only the set periodic update?
Turn on locations.
I have downloaded this from the google play store but it's not updating the weather at all. The clock is fine. Just wondering if anyone has this and had any issues?
I've slected autostart for it under security and also removed it and reinstalled but it doesnt make a differnce. To refresh weather I have to click into the app even though I have set it to refresh when it wakes and also every 3 hours. But it never does
I have this problem with beautiful widgets.
Some minutes ago I deleted my location settings inside the app and added my location again.
Now it looks like it is working.
Maybe you can try this.
But I'm not sure if this works because sometime I also have this problem with zooper widget.
I'm trying to replace the stock alarm on the watch by Google Clock app.
In order to do this I need to disable the Samsung Alarm app on the watch (via ADB commands), that's easy...
Also I have installed Google Clock app on the watch via the Play Store but when I add an alarm to the watch and is triggered,
the sound and vibration is played but the screen is not turned on and the activity to snooze or dismiss the alarm is not displayed and,
in order to stop the alarm I need to go apps list then enter into the Google Clock app and, when I enter the app, the activity to snooze or dismiss the alarm is displayed.
Any solution to this?
Thanks
Since the timer app from Samsung needs alot of battery power, I´m using the Google Timer. There is no need to disable the Samsung app and I´m able to start the timer by doubleklick on the home button and stop the timer by tapping the display.
Maybe the Google Clock needs the Samsung Clock (in the background) to function properly?

Thanks for the reply.
I have tried also not disabling stock alarm but no luck: the alarms I create in the phone are aplyed fine in the watch and the watch displays the dialog to dismiss/snooze it, but the alarms I create on the watch only plays sounds and the dialog is only displayed when I enter the Google clock app
Finally got working by manually grant a permission to the Google Clock app (in the watch):
Code:
pm grant com.google.android.deskclock android.permission.SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW
Hi all,
My Huawei Watch GT3 keeps sending me a notification of the weather from my phone. I don't know which app it is, and it's very annoying. It keeps updating me on the weather for what feels like every 30 minutes or so. Please see photo. Any solutions?
Thanks in advance
-Ari
As far as I know, the watch will only post the notifications that are enabled in the Huawei Health app. Open the Health app, select the Devices tab, then the GT 3 device. If you scroll up, there's a "Notifications Enabled" button that lists all the apps whose notifications will be passed along to the watch. You should be able to find the app that's notifying you of the weather conditions and disable it there.
If you don't see a weather app that is enabled in that list, I don't have any further suggestions.
Hi wmm,
Thanks for answering. I only have weather reports enabled (the section that's dedicated to weather reports in the health app, not the app notifications section) to sync the watch with my phone, I don't want it to send me a "push" notification every time the weather changes. In the "Notification" section in the Health app, there's no weather app enabled.
I don't have any ideas, then; I have the same setup you do, it appears, and I don't receive weather notifications. Sorry.
