The weather widget is not showing the right time. My system time updated for DST, but the widget will not.
I tried:
Restarting phone
Setting/unsetting "use location" in app settings
Removing and replacing app
Setting/unsetting automatic DST in phone Date/Time settings
Probably other things too.
The phone updated the time, but the app doesn't. The lock screen uses the system time, and the clock is in the same position, so when I unlock the phone it looks like the time skips ahead and hour.
Any help is appreciated.
Working now
It took half a day, but it just started working correctly. I didn't change anything. Strange. Maybe a manual refresh of the widget doesn't sync the clock, only the set periodic update?
Turn on locations.

after getting the OTA 3.1 update the weather widget will not refresh to the correct location. GPS and maps show me in the correct place but the widget will not refresh to my current location. It is stuck on the previous city I was in.
Anyone else having this problem?
It only updates every few hours by default. You can change this by clicking on the widget and changing the refresh interval.

I was doing a manual refresh. After doing it about 10 times it finally refreshed. Not sure what the problem was.
Since I updated to Marshmallow Concept I seldom see notifications of events. My old phone and the calendar page on my desktop PC do show the reminders but on the Z3 most of the time nothing happens. I can't see a pattern why or when they do get displayed.
I tried having both Calengoo and google calendar app running: either none or both of them produce the notification.
Turned off battery optimization for those apps then turned off the entire feature.
Since my events usually start on whole hours I set up a Tasker routine which turns on the screen for 30 seconds every 10 minutes. I hoped that it would force some kind of a refresh for the calendar widget I have on the home screen thus pushing the notification but it didn't help.
Any ideas why this happens or what to try next?
I have downloaded this from the google play store but it's not updating the weather at all. The clock is fine. Just wondering if anyone has this and had any issues?
I've slected autostart for it under security and also removed it and reinstalled but it doesnt make a differnce. To refresh weather I have to click into the app even though I have set it to refresh when it wakes and also every 3 hours. But it never does
I have this problem with beautiful widgets.
Some minutes ago I deleted my location settings inside the app and added my location again.
Now it looks like it is working.
Maybe you can try this.
But I'm not sure if this works because sometime I also have this problem with zooper widget.
One day my old man said he had an alarm icon on his status bar on both of his Sony Xperia Z1 and Lenovo Tab S8
First thing was to check clock app but no alarms where set up there on both devices, I tried disabling notification from the clock app but its still persistent
He is logged in his Gmail on both devices so I checked Google Calendar but also nothing
When I get on the quick settings menu, it says set alarm at a time that is 2-4 minutes ahead of the actual time
I tried disabling the automatic time and date but its still there, I even tried changing the time on the deviced 15 minutes ahead but the alarm would be 17-19 minutes ahead, and when I change the time back to actual time it says set alarm 2 minutes ahead
is this a known bug or my old man did something and found a bug?
Hi,
For a little while now I have noticed a couple app widgets locking up on the phone and the only fix seems to reboot the phone.
3rd party "weather" simple weather & clock widget, Huawei health app widget seem to lock up generally overnight. Not sure if the phone does an update as the clock time is stuck to a time or the health step counter remains stuck. Rebooting the phone seems to get the widgets working.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Mike
