I just downloaded the November security update, and VoLTE is enabled as it was before updating.
I've had it since I've been on the UnCarrier side of Tracfone (which is since I've had it active). Before I had it active, I was piloting a Galaxy Nexus (which supported neither VoLTE or VoWiFI); while it claimed to support LTE, it was trapped with LTE band 13, which does NOT support that LTE feature set very well, nor does it support VoLTE at all). I just re-enabled VoWiFi as a test (running the AT&T Oreo firmware - still on T-Mobile side of Tracfone).

X4 is exclusive to Online Seller Flipkart, and Flipkart have been listing the 6gb Variant since 2 weeks..
We should wait and see, whether its just a RAM upgrade or there will be a Processor Upgrade. Nd the new X4 will be launching with Oreo out of box, and it will support Treble.
Now as per Motorola India's tweet, the upgraded X4 would be lauching on Feb 1st.. Moto X4 was launched in India on Nov 14th.

T-Mobile will require VoLTE as of January 2021 / AT&T HD Voice ,international models?
T-Mobile will soon begin requiring that all phones on its network support VoLTE.
Existing, non-compatible devices will no longer be supported from January 2021.
This change takes effect for new devices and most existing customers as of August 4, 2020.
"AT&T customers have been receiving a worrisome email or text message from the carrier indicating that their phones are on the brink of no longer being supported, and that has caused quite an outcry. The issue, AT&T says, is that it plans to shut down its 3G network, meaning all calls will have to be made over VoLTE (aka HD Voice instead. And because only certain phones work with AT&T's VoLTE system, all other non-approved phones will no longer be able to make calls when that shutdown happens."
what those it mean for people buying international models from Aliexpres , eBay , Amazon , etc?

No workaround so far. It will get enabled by December drop.
Recently bought an old AT&T LG Velvet and was looking at updating from A11 to A12, but it tells me that it's the most up to date at A11.
I own another Velvet I bought new in Canada and it's on A12.
I've been Googling around and it seems I'm SOL unless I'm on an AT&T network to update it. Is that true or is there a workaround?
