Question Root Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE - SM-T733 EUX - Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE

Dear all, is there a way to root the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE - SM-T733 EUX? I've already unlocked the bootloader and tried to patch the AP of the stock rom (Frija) via magisk (like described in the excellent tutorial of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 5e). Unfortunately, after flashing the patched AP via odin the device is stucked in boot loop (with typical Samsung warnings). After flashing back to stock rom everything is fine, but i would like to have the device rooted. Are there any hints to get this working? Thanks in advance fred

min. 10 times ... thanks for your reply. Do you think it should work accoring to the tutorial of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 5e? I'm aware that there there is normally a lot of rebooting after flashing/rooting. Best regards fred.

Well yeah, if you bare flash Magisk-patched stuff w/o TWRP, you should encounter one bootloop and second will lead you to recovery, saying your data is corrupt and offering to Factory Reset. Can you send the guide you followed?

Also, the problem may be that you flashed AP section alone, as I remember, CSC is rather important in case of first installation.

thanks for your reply. I already tried to flash the patched ap, the csc and bl with same result. But i will try again with ap and csc alone. I followed this guide:
Galaxy Tab S5e (SM-T720) - Root Instructions (Release 1.0)
This guide is based on the original PewPewK post. Which, in turn, was inspired by TopJohnWu's 'Samsung (System-as-root)' Magisk Installation Guide It is an extended walk through aimed at ALL users, meant specifically for the SM-T720 (Tab S5e)...

I havent tried them yet.

ok, i'll try with v22.1.instead of 23 and will report.

unfortunately, patching the ap with magisk-manager v22.1 is resulting in the same issue of bootloop (yellow triangle with white text ... this tablet's bootloader is unlocked ..., following yellow triangle with red text ... this tablet is not running ....)

Try to follow the guide 'til the moment when you unpack firmware and delete files. As Tab S7 is different from S5e, this may be the cause. Simply pass downloaded AP firmware to your tablet, patch it, pull it back to your PC and flash. No repacking, no modifying contents...

I already tried this .... I patched the ap, copied back to the pc and flashed it untouched to the device (one time with one without the csc). After sucessful flash i do a soft reset (power+vol-) after that i go immediately to the recovery (poer+vol+) which does an automatic erase ... but unfortunately i am stuck in the bootloop.

there is no problem to go into download mode and reflash the stock firmware.

So the boot image is seprated into two parts, boot.img and recovery.img. But theres no way to patch recovery mode to it.

have you rootted it yet?

hi,
well, this matter i've missed and just noticed now, and seems it is the cause of the failed install.
the build numbers for the two phones i was trying to root are G750FXXU1ANGD and G750FXXU1ANJ1 . But when i've just checked again your post , the build number that you mentioned is G750FXXU1ANI1.
I'm downloading now the proper (G750FXXU1ANI1) from sammobile , and going to flash both of the phones and then try to root them with the file you showed above , hopefully it will work !.
thanks alot LS.xD

if you did both try using latest ODIN 3.10.6
I'm actually looking for a matching "PIT" file

I extracted the recovery from CF-AUTO-ROOT and converted it to ODIN flashable recovery SM-G750F
First flash the recovery.tar.md5 and then flash the CF-AUTO-ROOT you already downloaded.

Can't replace stock boot.img on SM-G935F

Hi,
After some time on custom room I wanted to go back to stock rooted system.
I downloaded the newest version from SamMobile and flashed throug ODIN. It's working perfectly fine but every time when I flash boot.img it's hanging on Samsung logo.
I tried to flash TWRP recovery, and patched Magisk boot.img. I noticed that everytime I flash boot.img and startup the phone, device vibrate twice on starting showing Samsung Logo.

galaxy s6 g920F only booting in download mode

Hi guys,

Hidden.img doesn't flash so I extracted it blablabla flashed it the right way afterwards and passes but..no succes. I've done this before but this phone is a pain in the *ss! so I only get download mode. flashed stock recovery...no succes...

Hi,
Thanks for the help. Watched the video and follow his steps...
But now suddenly the hidden.img flashes on the phone.
So I get a green pass by Odin.
But phone doesn't start!
Tried "auto reboot" on and also off.
It doesn't fail anymore.
Deleted the hidden.img file and flashed it afterwards.
I can't get him alive. I'm gonna try other official firmwares with an older android version. I don't get it.... Why only download mode? Not even recovery opens. #notgivingup
should I try to root it with cf root and try to get a recovery mode on it? This phone needs to be wiped I guess.
try to get into recovery , and give general reset....
or try to install twrp -to install a custom rom...
does not make downgrade to android , it can break

Could it be that I super hard bricked this phone by flashing everything over and over? I always think, as long the phone boots in download mode you're pretty safe.
Can't flash twrp, stock recovery.....
No official firmware is booting the phone up. I used to have the hidden.img problem but nog every firmware flash completes but still doesn't boot the phone.
Is there an order in which I need to try to flash? Like, try firmware first, then a recovery,.... Or first a bootloader and modem, then a firmware...
Oh God help me!
Thanks for the replies I already got!

Wow that link is a whole lot of Chinese for me. but I'll look into it this weekend! Thanks for keeping up with me. My phone still boots in download so I'm a step ahead. Gonna try flashing stock firmware without auto-boot ticked in Odin, then reset and restart phone manually in download mode and try to flash right bootloader. Should I go for the latest firmware or more like a 6.0.1 firmware?
firmware 7. is to good , why use it 6. ?

Well because I flashed like a couple of firmwares... And heard about downgrading is bad but... Yeah this isn't really downgrading.... Im just trying to wake up my friends phone. I will try to flash the latest firmware and then the bootloader right after it.
Hi guys,
So still no luck. Flashed latest stock firmware, tried flashing bootloader right after the successful flash, no luck. Tried rooting with cf-root, which completes but no custom recovery... Not booting. So yeah I'm on that download mode again. Anyone has some solutions I could try? Could I try converting a custom Rom zip to a tar file and flash it with Odin?
Thanks!
Hey guys
So I think i'm facing a similar problem on my s6 sm-g920f. When I flashed a stock rom 7.0 it passed with no errors, but when it tried to restart it just stays at Samsung logo. I too can't access recovery mode, only download mode. And when I try to do the "removing battery" method using volume down and power button it turns off but turns on right after and gets stuck on Samsung logo.

At least your phone is booting to the logo. I literally flashed everything! Recoveries, stock roms, tried rooting, bootloaders, stock rom with and without hidden.img...pit files.... if you find something... Let me know!
Huh am facing similar situation one s6 was in softbrick I I had odin mode successful but it showed G9280d, custom binary system official, I got a similar stock recovery then The device did boot to home screen but system wasnot stable everything stated crashing I did reboot that's when it could only stop at Android s6 then I did cross check to get it labled g920f flashing ends with either CM erorr or bootloader, in miracle it stopped at hidden or CM or pit in odin am clueless.
Man try holding V- ,home button and power key it will work just try harder. I faced it just today though mine is still.

NEED help unRooting my SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 5

Root process:
- TWRP installation using ODIN
- Wipe DATA, complete wipe from TWRP recovery mode
- Copy Magisk 22 into the recovery mode folder via PC
- Install magisk
- Reboot to system
MAGISK parameters : SDRAM- YES, rest are NO
I tried almost everything, I think my model can only have upto android 6.0.1 but I find no stock rom /firmware online.
I am very noob at this, please help.
Make and model of my phone : Samsung Galaxy Note 5 _ SM-N920G'
What happens if I flashify the existing ROM will it come with magisk and the root?
If you can tell me any reliable ROM website, that'd be great.
I tried many firmware stuff, all ended up in bootloops, am really frustrated now.
I want to unroot because I wanna use banking apps. And i am concerned about the safety of data on a rooted device while I work on the banking apps. If you have any separate solution for that, I can keep the root and its fine.

There should be plenty tutorials on YouTube on how to do it. The process is the same across all Samsung devices.
You could possibly reflash each file individually from ap, bl, cp, csc with mtk client then it should boot into download mode
