How to enable DSU on Motorola One 5G Ace - Moto G 5G Questions & Answers

Is it possible to enable DSU on a Motorola One 5G Ace? I'm wanting to install Android 12 GSI on it and it doesn't show the option for it whenever it has Android 10 on it already.

I don't know, I did find this.
Dynamic System Updates (DSU) | Platform | Android Developers
Dynamic System Updates (DSU) lets developers install a GSI side by side with the device's system image on a DSU-supported device that runs Android 10 or higher.

No, it's the X21.
Treble is supported but A+B partition is not supported, about future updates there is no official statement for that from Vivo, they are pretty good at updating fun os and security patches but not so much about android version. Only reasons I decided to not buy this phone cause of ****ty os. Such a shame for a brilliant hardware.
Is there a possibility to unlock the boot loader and install oxygen OS of one plus 6?
It supports treble, just not seamlessly

I think its basically be able to install custom roms without root with adb or something like that. For example you could use treble to upgrade from android 8 to android 9 I think with treble without root.
Yes, Honor 8 android 8 supports treble for the Honor 8, im pretty sure that someone made a screenshot of the Honor 8 with verified treble support from android 8.
On an abstract level, think of it like placing the Android code in separate files and the hardware code in separate files. Treble ensures that whatever is the hardware code, any build of Android should be able to support the hardware implementation and run it without any issues.

Updating from android 11 to 12 with custom recovery

hey i cant seem to find any answers about this on the internet and i have no idea on which forum should i post this on my choices were the xiaomi.eu, orangefox but i have choose to reffer to you guys and i hope to meet some nice people. Im using a redmi note 9 pro (joyeuse) with the latest xiaomi eu rom
running android 11 with OrangeFox recovery. and this phone is about to get (its not out yet) its android 12 update. i need help updating it because i don't want to brick my phone. Also the reason why im not posting this in my phone's dedicated forum is becase the story should be the same for all the other people updating from android 11 to 12
So i have no idea if the version of orangefox recovery that i have supports android 12 (im running R11.1_2 STABLE) the website mentions nothing about either android support. there is also a BETA version of OrangeFox for my phone which is R11.1_3_4_A12_FBEv2 in the notes of this BETA version it says "This is an (FBEv2) Android 12 (and higher) only release. Do NOT use with Android 11 or earlier"
now lets say that the miui 13 update with android 12 is out. what do i do then if i want to update? more specificly in which order should i update the phone? should i first update my recovery and then the rom? or in reverse? or is there a way to update them both at the same time? there is also a possibility that by the time the miui 13 update comes out OrangeFox might come out with a new stable version that will support both android 11 and 12 at the same time so that will completely eliminate my problem.
Moving from Android 11 to Android 12 is UPGRADING, not updating what simply patches existing Android 11.
