New to dealing with ROMs, Root, TWRP, etc. Pls help!^) - ZTE Nubia X Questions & Answers

Hi guys!
Just bought Nubia X, and all I want now is to use Gapps.
My phone is not rooted and TWRP is not installed. I tried to do this by instructions on the internet but it seems I can't nail it.
Please maybe somebody can help me to do all the steps, or redirect me to meaningful instruction.
I'm a confident PC user, but new to all this flashing stuff.
I can provide any information as needed, thank you!

I need some personalized help. Super confused on how to Install Custom ROMSon ZTE BL2

Guys thanks for your patience in advance. I am so lost. I want to start off by saying I have read this, and plenty other threads throughout xdadevelopers website and a couple others.. I also consider myself pretty computer literate, until now. I think a big problem I have been having is I have a not-so-common android device.
I am using a phone I bought in Mexico
ZTE Blade L2
Android Version 4.2.2
Kernel Version 3.4.5
I have walked myself through 15 different step-by-step processes on how to install a custom rom. I have spent countless hours now over the last week trying to get the ins and outs of the whole process.
I was able to root my phone through the KingRoot program the first day, which solved my original problem of not being able to save APPs to my SD. In my research I read all about Custom Roms. And this is where everything has gone from interesting and informative to utterly confusing.
I have found a 100 different ways to do the one thing I want and nothing has worked for me thus far. I am now left with about 5 CustomRecovery Apps, Flashify, Root Checker, Backup program after another.
I am going to explain what I know about the process and maybe you guys and help me out....
-Root Phone
--Download Custom Recovery APP ( MobileUncleTools, CWM)
---MAKE a backup
----Boot in custom recovery mode
-----Clear cache partition, davilk cache, all user info etc.....
------Load custom ROM
-------Enjoy.
I really thought I had figured it out at the end, but can't seem to get it to boot back in recovery mode.
Once again thank you. And please don't link me to the friggin ZTE BLADE L2 ROOT/ROM page on the forum. I am not understanding the process, I feel it is missing a step. Or I am not understanding one.
Have you flashed custom recovery and does your phone support fastboot?

[Completed] cubot x17 custom ROM help. ( stock ROM is full of bloatware/malware)

Hello all
I don't want to be that guy that makes one post and runs for the hills I actually want to be part of the community, unfortunately this current situation is driving me nuts, to the point where I just have to post.
You see I own a cubit x17 that features quite a lot of bloatware and malware that needs removing.
I have rooted my device using kingroot and even gone as far as to install TWRP. I have downloaded a custom ROM for my phone that is saved in my downloads.
The problem is I just can't figure out how to install it...... I've tried everything from using TWRP to manual booting (there's not a single install option on the manual boot screen) and as far as I know no SD card in the phone and I cant seem to find the download folder from the boot screen.
Please can somebody help before I pull the remaining hair I have left out.
Hello and thanks for using XDA Assist,
Your device does not have a device specific forum here on XDA, Please create a thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help. Experts there should be able to help you.
Always read carefully before proceeding.
Good luck,

Have I bricked my phone?

Ok, I am new here and I do not have a lot of experience with trying to flash phones. I decided I wanted to try it on my Samsung Galaxy S6. I have managed to get as far as the TWRP screen on the phone after rooting, but I cannot get the phone to go back to normal, if that makes sense.
All I have is the Team Win Recovery Project 3.2.1.0 screen with install, wipe etc but no matter what I do I can not move on from there.
I had previously downloaded all the files that I thought was needed but still cant do anything.
Any help greatly appreciated, and sorry for being a dumb newbie and not really up to date on all the terms, so any explanation as to what I need to do in simple terms would be a great help.
Thank you
You can download custom Rom on your pc and install with sideload or install stock rom with odin
Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I have it all sorted now

Recovering deleted screenshots / Rooting Gome K1

Hi, guys!
I hope you can help me with the following issue:
10 days ago I deleted about 150 screenshots on my phone and I really need to get them all back. I tried restoring the files using the dr.fone application, but it seems that I need to root my phone first. Here's when the hell began. I'm an amateur, I'm not sure if after rooting I will get back my files, but I want to try it. I've read on different forums about rooting, I am now familiar with some terms, I but still I need help from someone with experience, because I don't want to create bricks in my phone. Now I'm at the step when I need to create a scatter file, and something's not working.
If someone can help me (maybe there is other option except for rooting, in order to get back the screenshots) your help will be much appreciated.
Thank you

When I try to burn rom with TWRP, img burns but it doesn't start and zip gives an error and cannot burn.
When I first burned custom ROM (unofficial AEX), it did not start, so when I deleted the data from TWRP, it seems that I deleted things that should not be erased, so even if I burn it from the zip file, with the error message in the image below I...
