Hi, guys!
I hope you can help me with the following issue:
10 days ago I deleted about 150 screenshots on my phone and I really need to get them all back. I tried restoring the files using the dr.fone application, but it seems that I need to root my phone first. Here's when the hell began. I'm an amateur, I'm not sure if after rooting I will get back my files, but I want to try it. I've read on different forums about rooting, I am now familiar with some terms, I but still I need help from someone with experience, because I don't want to create bricks in my phone. Now I'm at the step when I need to create a scatter file, and something's not working.
If someone can help me (maybe there is other option except for rooting, in order to get back the screenshots) your help will be much appreciated.
Thank you

Hello to members here.
Would be really grateful for any help with info' regarding my Galaxy Grand Dous GT-19082 running on 4.1.2. I like the phone a lot, and don't like the fact I accidentally deleted the wall paper picker and also the program monitor from the system with root delete app. So I can not use live wall paper now, or the program monitor
As said before, phone rooted, think using/has CWM. Apart from that it's standard.I didn't back up my phone with Titanium back up etc unfortunately.
I have spent/wasted a day and a half so far trying to find info' on the web looking how I can re install these to the phone. Potentially frustrating. I have looked for the apk files but could not locate.
I am fairly basic with my knowledge on this techie stuff, so if anyone can explain as simply as possible and step by step. I would be most thankful. If I could pay somebody to do it, then I would probably be keen, just want my phone as it was again...
Thanks again, and respect in advance for any helps/info' and advise.
Sincere regards, Alex
It's not actually a big deal.
But you have to be sure what ROM are your phone is on.
It's better for you to post here on this thread
Anyway if it's stock ROM, it's relatively simple, ask on the Troubleshooting Forum for someone to post the app, and then all you have to do is to flash them by CWM. (Or use root explorer manually to install them)
Thanks Silverfox, for your info'.
I guess it's a stock ROM as I didn't change ROM as far as I know. Just standard root. I have tried to see which ROM I am using, but cant see anywhere, even under settings/about device. Have looked on google for ways to see which ROM I am using, but not much useful info'.. Any ideas how I can check.?
Thanks again:good:
OK so, I'm not a super noob but I'm also not an expert so I may understand certain terms.
Thank you so much for reading this and this thread is awesome because like me people out there really need help.
Really appreciate the work done here.
I usually follow you guys tutorials and stuff and always manage to come out successful without making a post like this one.
But I got to tell you this phone got me beat.
SO here we go.
I purchased a chinese mobile device, specifically a Tethin TX300 and after messing around with it I changed permission to the system/app folder and now it's stuck in a boot loop. Can anyone help? Any idea would be appreciated. Thanks
Isn't it possible to access the recovery on the phone to do a device reset?..
Thank you for your fast answer. Yes it is possible to access recovery mode. I have already tried to do a factory reset/wipe data but that didn't help. Any other ideas? Is it possible to restore permissions using adb ? Thanks
Hi all!
So I downloaded Android 6 from Googles site and manually updated and of course the phone was wiped! And today I remembered I had a lot of photos from our vacation and of the kids (when my youngest was born etc) and whatnot that got lost as well Is there any way to recover these? I've tried looking for guides on here, but the ones i found that were kind of relevant are old ones and links to files that was needed is dead.
If it is possible, could anyone please point me to a good guide and tools needed? I'm really hoping this works. I screwed up
Thanks in advance!

i never recovered data so i can't help you any further with that process so if you have any Qs ask them in that thread so proper people can help you
btw it's not easy process it's very advance process and require step by step implementation so follow that guide properly ( it requires rooted phone and basic knowledge of rooting..and as Marshmallow is new rooting process is not that easy..you can find how to root Marshmallow in general section)
& in future always take full backup before you change anything manually
Thank you very much! Appreciate it!
I was gonna root it, but thought it was like before so I did the chainfire auto-root without reading. Thought I had bricked it. First it got stuck on the boot screen for a couple of hours, then after I got it off, it wouldn't turn back on. But after a while i finally got it in recovery mode and flashed again. Let me take a look at this new method.
I'm pretty good at following directions, so hopefully I'll be good this time around
Thanks for a point in the right direction. I'll ask over there if I get any issues.
Hi there,
So I updated my z5 to Marshmallow and of course, like most. My phone crashed, had to restore factory default and I lost some screenshots and text messages that I need VERY MUCH.
I have tried many tools to recover files, none of them find anything and just say to root in order to restore deleted items.
I did find one walk through to root the z5 on here but it doesnt give me much of a description. Just gives me codes to enter but i have no idea how to even start.... I am computer savy, but dont know a whole lot about phones.
If anyone can walk me through this or has had success with another way to recover deleted items on a z5. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!
Thanks

You're not gonna get those files back. Once deleted, always deleted. That's the way an SSD works.
Also, rooting would not help, it will format the entire phone once again since it requires Unlocking the bootloader.
I suggest u to read and understand what ur doing before rooting anyway before u brick the phone.

Hi, with root and DiskDigger, I Recovered photos and some files after formatting error from the device manager of Google.

Hello
I'm sorry for my English I'm a French user and I use google translate...
I am desperate, I have been trying for several weeks to root my phone to activate the VOLTE.
I can't achieve anything. I just managed to unlock the bootloader.
no matter how much I use kingroot or magidesk I don't understand anything and I can't get anywhere... the guides I find on the internet are not detailed enough for a beginner like me and I download heaps of files without understanding what it serves me or how to use them....can someone help me? step by step in this manipulation? or give me a reliable tool
thank you so much for your help and sorry for the bother
Please refer to my post. May make it help or not.
When I try to burn rom with TWRP, img burns but it doesn't start and zip gives an error and cannot burn.
When I first burned custom ROM (unofficial AEX), it did not start, so when I deleted the data from TWRP, it seems that I deleted things that should not be erased, so even if I burn it from the zip file, with the error message in the image below I...
