how to flash TWRP for A12 127fF?
Is TWRP available for the SM-A125W model?
Hey, new user here and owner of an Android phone after switching from iOS. I've been interested in rooting my phone for a while now, I've even softbricked it (but managed to reset to normal) because I wasn't actually flashing the correct version...

Read the comments, the same goes for your model. And you might also have to downgrade SW REV just like the W model if you wnat to flash a125F fimware
In short, there is no twrp for A127F yet. But you are not out of luck, you can try disabeling MTK secure boot and secure download and then downgrade SW REV for A125F fimware and after all of that you will be able to install twrp but with the A125F fimware installed

Hi, I'm having a lot of trouble trying to install a custom recovery. I had it working a couple months back but wanted to go with official again for dumb reasons and now i want to go back but it won't let me flash TWRP, i can't find a TWRP specifically for this version either. It's Android 10 with March security patch.
I hope someone can help me.
Thanks.

As far as your issue goes, I don't actually know much about Samsung specifics, but I believe that particular message means you haven't unlocked your bootloader. You'll need to do that before you can flash custom stuff.

actually Im also having the same problem even though i have unlocked my bootloader.. I had previously installed twrp and was trying custom os until one os (evolution x) for some bricked my phone and i had to flash the stock firmware and after that when i try to re-flash twrp through odin it is saying officail binary can be flashed.

Like I said, I'm not 100% on Samsung shenannigans, but have you checked to verify that you didn't lock the bootloader as a part of flashing the stock firmware?

Hi ยก...
1. You have to reinstall via odin the latest version 9 (AP, BL...etc)
2. On reboot do the entire TWPR flashing process for android 9
The current problem is that there is no TWPR for android 10.
Cheers
While the device is the cheapest offering from OnePlus, it's quite difficult to root it still..
* I somehow unlocked the bootloader after downloading dimensity drivers and using fastboot.
* The immediate next step was to extract boot.img from stock rom using payload dumper.. easy enough right? Apparently not!!.. There is no stock rom available on the OnePlus site for this device and it doesn't even support local upgrades..
There's no TWRP, Orangefox or any other recovery to install magisk as of yet.. I wonder what's wrong with the device and why one has to try so hard to root a simple phone..
If you're reading this and know a way to root, please help out..
Well it's a pretty new phone so that's why there's not much available for it yet. Have you tried googling oneplus ce 2 root. There's several guides but can't vouch for any of them.

I did Google for the rooting guides . But these are just generic with device name replaced by Nord ce2.. some sites don't even realise it's a dimensity processor and explain wrong procedures to unlock bootloader..
The one that concerned me was OnePlus official webpage showing model doesn't support local upgrades .. I couldn't find the security patch download I received a week ago too(in my phone's ota directory)
Could you provide the steps for root as well as the drivers and stock ROM?

You'll need to install mediatec dimensity drivers to enter fastboot and unlock bootloader/OEM..
From there on, you're pretty much on your own as OnePlus hasn't yet released any stock firmware yet and no custom recovery is supporting Nord ce 2

No custom recovery is supporting it YET. It's only just been released, sure these things will happen the more people buy the phone and the longer it's out.

I rooted the Boot.img in the file attached earlier (after extracting OFP file)
Root was successful, but Wifi and Bluetooth does not work. Not sure if there are other issues.
My device has IV2201_11_A_11 version.
Is the new version available anywhere to root?

Hello, I have the SM-A127M.
I have been able to do the following:
1.Unlock the Bootloader.
2. Root with Magisk.
But I want to follow this Guide "Installing TWRP and LInageOS" and I have the following questions:
1. Is it possible to install LineageOS on SM-A127M?
2. Is there a version of TWRP for Android 11 on the SM-A127M? Download a version to install with Odin as AP from here: https://eu.dl.twrp.me/a12/
But the only thing it did was go into an infinite loop in Download mode. Lucky that I was able to unbrick it by flashing the full firmware.
3. Is the reason for switching to LineageOS to improve the phone's performance, do those who already have it really feel an improvement in performance or is it the same as using it with Stock Android from Samsung?
Thank you for your answers.
Don't bother bro, nobody responds to the A127M variant, I got the same phone and a few post before yours i wonder to a custom rom and no one reply.

I think so. Have you tried this model using the installation guides on the forum to install TWRP and/or LineageOS? Have they worked for you? Have they failed you? It does not matter if it is for this specific model.
Thanks in advance.

Twrp is fine but LineageOS no dont you cant call or text at all sometimes the sim isnt recognised even mention it in the sub reddit and everyone screams at you to download the official even though it happens on official builds
Try installing this custom and unofficial twrp for A12 Nacho.

[ODIN] If you couldn't install it on AP, try to install it on BL.
(No need to disable vbmeta I guess cuz I installed it on my a127m and my phone just booted normal)

I have the exact same phone as you.
I used this post to root: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rooting-oneplus-nord-2-ce-lite.4500297/
Didn't run into any problems
I have bricked this device (One Plus Nord CE 2 Lite) by flashing the unofficial twrp image for this device. Device bootloops in TWRP.
Previously, I had succesfully unlocked the bootloader and rooted this device by flashing the patched magisk boot.img by following the method mentioned in this post (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rooting-oneplus-nord-2-ce-lite.4500297/)
How to restore the factory image and recover from this?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Sir, If you have patched magisk boot.img and blank vbmeta.img files on your pc used previously for rooting this device, this will save you your precious time.
Flash the files to their appropriate partitions, the device will overwrite the partitions and boot back with root access.
If you have updated the device after root and flashed magisk to inactive slot for saving root access after OTA the above method won't work.
Installed official version.
But i need twrp for this device.
Any one installed??
Sir, TWRP image available for this device is experimental, unstable and buggy.
There is a problem that occurs when you flash twrp if you are rooted.
After flashing the device bootloops into TWRP and won't boot into system OS even if it's forced to reboot.
Even without root if flashed, twrp cant flash or wipe any data.
On the screen the errors are shown in red.[failed to mount ' / ' ](Invalid Argument)
Let's wait until a stable image is available for this device in the near future.
Thank you .
I want pixel experience on nord ce 2 lte
If any one installed . Please guide me
...pixel experience doesn't work on Nord 2 CE devices ...none of the functions are compatible with this device ...I tried more than one configurations by myself ...the few things you can get working, like Contacts App or Messages App, you can manually download and install from APKmirror or other sources ...no need to "module" these little things
...I would like to change the boot animation, for example ...but to be honest, how often and how long do you see the boot up screen???
i again damaged the os.
This time every thing not working.
it boot loops to fastboot.
Any help ?? @DerDoktore
Is there any msmtool for nord ce 2 lte
...Bootloop to fastboot???? ...that is new to me ...I know the "system damaged" Screen and a traditional Bootloop ...does it "break" the loop at fastboot??? ...or do you see half a second the fastboot screen and restart and again???

So I first bought my Samsung a11 as an android 10 model,
I then flashed it after I bought it with an open-line android 11 version and got twrp and root. This was a year ago I think.
Now they released the final update for this Samsung phone model, and I want to at least get the latest and last version of my phone.
But I kinda forgot how to do the procedures again.
So my question is does flashing the new android version firmware using odin remove TWRP installed on my device?
my phone model is: A115FXXU2BUJ2 (android 11)
the firmware I want to install: A115FXXU3CV13 (android 12)
if so what do I need to do in order to successfully have both the new firmware I want to install and twrp installed on my device? (i kinda know how to root using twrp and magisk so no problems here)
Any help would be much appreciated!

Yes, flashing the update via Odin will remove TWRP and root, it will also, more than likely, lock your bootloader, then you won't be able to reinstall TWRP or root the device unless you unlock the bootloader, if it can be unlocked.

If the bootloader in the update is a securely locked bootloader, it will probably have locked bootloader after flashing and might not be able to be unlocked. That was the whole point of me warning you in my last post. Now I've had to post again just to say the same thing that I already said. I guess I was talking to the wind.
There is no way to know what the results will be after updating unless you find someone that has already updated the exact same model number of A11 or bite the bullet and update yours then see what you get.

I see, looks like i need to find someone who have done it and see if it works. I didnt get what you mean about after flashing, it might have a chance to lock the bootloader depends on the update. I think ill just try and see what happens. Thank you.
I dont know guys with that phone but there should be a tool that bypass auth and unlock the bootloader in any case. I ONLY knows MTK devices, not sure about that samsung i use a .Bat file.

No, I said that after the update, it could cause the bootloader to be locked and then may not be unlockable from that point on. It depends on the bootloader in the update. If this happens, you will be unable to install TWRP or root via Magisk. That is why you need to confirm whether or not flashing the update will relock the bootloader during the flashing process and, if it does, whether or not it can be unlocked again after the update.
In other words, look at exactly what you are about to jump into before you make the jump because you might land in the one place that you absolutely do not want to land.
