Hello,
i have a bug while charging my battery on the Mi 10 Ultra, i'm on the Miui 12.1.1.
when i plug the charger its connect and disconnect infinitely without charging.
but when i switch off the phone and plug it, its charge normally until 100%, so i guess its a software issue. can someone help me to solve that.
thanks a lot

you could try updating your software to the latest miui. though not much of an answer to your question. hope your problem is already solved.

Hello,
thanks for your answer. im already on the latest miui didn't receive any new OTA since 6 months.
and was wondering if there is a file to reset or restore to solve that issue which is ready annoying.
thanks
the latest miui is actually 12.5.6.
since i do not have a direct solution for you, you could try "factory reset" your phone to a clean state again. that solves most things normally. remember to backup your data first to your computer(not on the phone self)
If toying with factory reset, might want to investigate putting EU rom onto it too... will get updates much quicker
i just updated my phone 5o latest miui 12.5 and its worked fine for 1 or 2 time turbo charging. now its get back the same issue and keep switching between normal and fast charging.
only solution to date is switching off the phone and charging it otherwise it won't
at least you can charge for now without turning off your phone...
assuming you already did factory reset and/or updated your rom...those are the easier ways of resetting things to normal.
if you really need to fix it then you could as BlueMeany68 mentioned, putting EU rom on your phone.
it requires unlocking phone bootloader, rooting your phone, flashing recovery, flashing EU rom. There are guides around in the forum where you could find more information about it to start with.
there might be other solutions for your problem that i am not aware of ofcourse but hope this helps.

You could reflash(instead of updating i.e. download the rom to flash on your phone) 12.5 miui rom (or maybe format all data of your phone and then flash to have a clean start) to see if it works.
If not hopefully it is not a hardware problem or if someone else could provide a solution.

Hello people of XDA Forum,
Since a couple of years I own a Xiaomi Redmi 8A, which I ordered brand new on AliExpress.
After a couple of failed attempts to install a Custom Rom on the device, I still have an unlocked bootloader
and a "offical" stock firmware on the smartphone installed. Sadly now occurs an other problem,
frequently the screen "freezes" when I want to use the touchscreen. Sometimes when I put the power-button
and pressing it another time the screen responsed to it. But not always, it's getting very frustating when
for example I play "Call of Duty Mobile". My question is that I want to know of the problem is software-
or hardware based? Hopefully you can help me out, thnx
Have you modified anything in your device recently? No? Then it's probably hardware issue.
Do you have any damage to your phone? Then it's even more likely to be hardware issue.

Thanks for the reply. Now I have this problem for a couple of weeks sadly... There is no visible damage on the
device, but I have dropped the smartphone a couple of times out my hand... So I have this problem and I thought
that a firmware upgrade might help me out, but the problem still remains.

If you think the damage to your phone is significant enough for it to affect your screen then maybe you should send it for a checkup.
Although you can try using different ROM to test if it works since it's probably much cheaper to do so than fixing the screen.
But don't flash an OTA update, flash latest stock ROM manually or flash a custom ROM. That way the settings are reset, you can backup your data with TWRP.

Allright, thank you very much for the suggestion. Finally I managed to flash an older Fastboot ROM through
the "MI Flash Tool", which solved my touchscreen problems.
Gentlemens, I ask for your help because it's 30 hours that i'm fighting for this
Last morning I woke up and I looked at my Nord, and I saw it sluggishly slow, a bit like it has been in recent times and I was really tired of it, so I decided to clean the Nord by restoring everything in the most pristine way possible to try to make it more like it's Out-Of-The-Box, so i chose to downgrade with msm and luckily i had the wit to back up the persist.img
Making a summary, after I reset everything I reviewed how many bloatware there were in the Nord Indian version (I have that) and I wondered if you could put the global or eu rom on top of the ac2001
Reading on xda, reddit and oneplus I saw that many have done it and everything is semi all right, at most the 5g, the footprint or similar gave them a bit of problems, then I said to myself FINALLY I can get out of this Indian hell as an european (I have not a damn way to use amazon on the nord, because it does not accept that I am in Italy, so it refuses to connect, I breathed fire to make it work by removing the bloatware version, fighting with the router, adb, and the list goes on) and then I immediately threw myself into it
The global / eu version worked, but they crashdumped as soon as I updated them
I thought "Oh well" and I go back to edl and try to put the Indian back
Everything is fine with oos10, but as soon as I ******* go back to updating to oos11 it crashdumps, and i and go back to msm with edl to flash
I feel idiotic, oh well
fact that says something with sensor_process rc
device_restart_work_hdlr
and various other little things
Anyone have any idea how I could upgrade to oos11, global/eu (maybe god) or india?
Thank you in advance and forgive me for the papyrus: /
PS: relatively relevant detail, at more or less the second hour and a half at 12 o'clock in hell the pc while flashing went to bsod for unreleated issues (how lucky am i) and there it gave the first crashdump, but as soon as I reflashed in edl it it booted and then the continuous is over
I've flashed various combinations various versions and several times with edm today, so I don't really know what I can do anymore
crashdump is
err_qdi.c:1045:EF:sensor process:0x1:SNS_REG_INIT:0x9e:sns_registry
_sensor.c:94:SNS_RC_SUCCESS == rc
subsys_err_fatal_intr_handlersubsys-restart: Resetting the SoC - ad

Hello, I was wondering, do you have the solution to the problem ?
Hello, in advance I apologize for my English, I am using translator.
Yesterday after suffering a battery drain that left my tablet from 100% to 70% in Standby without Wi-Fi, bluetooth or GPS or anything activated I decided to format my tablet, but as I had installed TWRP better I decided to reinstall the original rom complete
I followed all the steps indicated in this forum to reinstall the firmware and everything went well, except that when I restarted it stayed in bootloop, I tried with several versions and only with the <TB-J706F_S250260_210804_ROW>worked, all the others that are in the repository are in bootloop.
After configuring everything I went up I realized that the auto rotation of the screen did not work, neither did the automatic brightness, I do not know that other things do not work but that at least they are the most important, so I do not know what happened because before changing the Rom everything worked well
As if that were not enough, fastboot does not detect my PC or my Laptop, so I can not root to do an exhaustive search, nor can I open the bootloader.
Also, when I check for updates they don't appear, the updater tells me to look when I'm connected to the Internet but obviously I am.
So, in this extreme case, what needs to be done? Cry? Xd.
By the way, I bought the tablet in Aliexpress, it is supposed to be a version with the global firmware, I already contacted them but I doubt they will answer xd.
Again excuse my English, I'm using translator.
I could already fix it, thanks for not helping me at all

They were not GSI that I installed, they were the official Roms (Global and ZUI)
Although I realized that all the problems I was having was because I idiotically deleted the partition "persist" xd.
After flashing '' 'persist.img' my problems were solved.

I got it from the Global Rom <TB-J706F_S250260_210804_ROW>
Later it was only a matter of flashing with <fastboot flash persist persist.img> with the bootloader unlocked and that's it.
Sensors back to life.
Although since I'm not installing GSI, I can't say if it works or not, and I don't want to break my tablet again xd
Hi Guys, I bought a second hand 10 Ultra that had the EU ROM version 12.10. Battery life, everything was perfect. EXCEPT the camera! And the camera was THE only reason to buy this phone. Horrible photos, a lot of smear and haze when a light source was in the picture, like a light bulb, computer screen, almost unusable. So after reading that the chinese ROM can fix the issue I've used Xiomiflash and installed the latest official CN ROM : https://xiaomirom.com/en/download/mi-10-ultra-cas-weekly-V13.0.0.1.1.DEV/ . Fantastic photos, great camera overall but many bugs concerning all the apps installed via Google Play. no real time notifications, gmail interface very laggy , an important battery drain (10% overnight as with EU Rom was 1-2%).
So I have decided to go back. I have download and tried to install an EU ROM, it installed something but froze halfway and after a few hours I stopped the program.
Tried again and no luck, now I get the error message "anti rollback check error". I have google it, ran the cmd I have a code 1 in the phone.
On youtube there is a fix to that and all the comments are positive, so I opened the "bat" file in a txt editor and deleted the first lines about the rollback check.
Open the EU ROM with Xiaomiflash and It started to work but froze again after 10'-20' for hours.
So for the time being I think I have a bricked phone that starts with a bootloop, I can get in into the chinese recovery but using that it gets it again in the bootloop, I tbelieve that it"s booting into a corrupted ROM.
I have found this tool from XIAOMI http://zhushou.xiaomi.com/ but it's all in chinese, I have tried with a camera translator app on another phone but it's just impossible to translate.
I really really hope I can still get it back to work! Ideally with an EU rom, a 12.5 version, if downgrading it's impossible then again with the version13 beta CN ROM that worked.
Anyone any idea?
To resume evrything: Phone worked with EU ROM 12.5 - Used xiomiflash - wipe evrything- installed CN rom v13 - wipe evrything /tried to reinstall EU ROM v12.5- roll back error -stuck - wipe everything/tried to reinstall the same CN ROM V13- stuck halfway - Phone in bootloop/ fastboot -can access recovery mode that doesn't help.
I know it's long but I spent 2 full days and evenings trying to solve it :-(
Many many thanks in advance !
Hey, have you tried reinstalling using fastboot? basically start flashing from scratch. and stick to using only weekly or stable rom.
Hello,
I got a big issue on my Mi 10 Ultra, the stock camera is not wanting to work anymore.
It's black only and then refuses to launch (see screenshot attached).
I've tried third party apps but quality is not as good and I can't use all the camera modules. I've bought the 10 Ultra for it's cameras and really want to keep using it. (I do a lot of macrophotography and the 10 Ultra is amazing for this but only on the wide angle module.)
Did someone encountered the same issue ?
I've tried installing GCam but I do not managed to install apks. Theres an issue during the package analysis... (I've tried all GCam apks I could find here.)
I'm on stock EU OS with TWRP and I just activated root to try to solve the issue.
Sorry for bad english and french screenshots
EDIT: Every camera is working in the CIT hardware tests, I think it's software but I resetted the phone and nothing changed.

I understand this is a tutorial to change my ROM, which is not what I'm searching for as the ROM works really well. Plus I only see the CAS on this thread's links which is the chinese ROM.
Not sure what you meant.

Mi 10 Ultra ChinaStableFastbootV13.0.4.0.SJJCNXM
Just to be sure of something, I did a test. Thanks for answering all my messages but what I need and want now is info or a way to debunk the issue.
I wont flash a ROM in a language I don't understand on the phone I use every day just to test something.
I already tried resetting the phone (including dalvik cache iirc) and it did not change anything.
Plus I would need a PC and a flashing tool, this would take a lot of time...
Finally, the issue did not came with a ROM change, the actual ROM is stable.
Edit : I changed the camera module, everything works perfectly
According to my repair shop, Xiaomis are just unreliable.
