If you wanna stay on stock ROM, just use MiFlash (check the "clean all" option on the bottom) and fastboot ROM for Global version you wanna use. You don't need custom recovery.

Please note MIUI.EU and EU region firmware is difference. MIUI.EU based in global firmware code MI. EU region is EEA with EU firmware code. don't get it wrong.
1. Miui.eu is better for me with less bloatware and still keep miui feature. Use since mi 6x and old poco f1.
2. Indonesian language include in miui.eu
If you want try it UBL and flash global first with MI code firmware last version. Step in Miui.eu rom thread.

sure :good:
You can but it's not recommended. Different rom regions use different persist.img (use a hex editor to read it). A different persist.img has different data offsets and it can mess with things like Mi account, compass and different sensors, activation data etc.
Le:fastboot won't flash persist.img even if it's present in the ROM folder. You can flash persist.img from twrp but again, not recommended to flash another version of it.

So, you will try to flash global ROM after getting bootloader unlocked?
My main issue now in 12.0.1 is the dynamic refresh rate or something like that makes gaming experience like a crap as hell even if i stay in fixed 60Hz refresh rate

As per the new miui 10 which is based on Google the Poco X3 NFC has changed the phone and message apps are converted to google dail pad and messages
Yes, I understand that Google dialer is present on the device but anyone tried or able to get the miui dialer by installing rom like miui EU version or any other way on poco x3 indian version?

Searching exactly for this (Mi dialer because I want Call Recording too) I think that just stock Indonesian rom or custom rom xiaomi.eu are the ones that uses Mi dialer. I'll pretend to test Indonesian fisrt. Currently I'm in Turkish stock version and it has Google dialer too.
I think you can flash eu rom. It has mi dialer. I will be able to unlock my device tomorrow. Than i can test. Mine is also poco x3 (Indian variant)

Hi. I am currently using elite rom. It's based on eu rom. This & eu both has mi dialer with call recording option.
Yes I did flashed the Indonesia rom and locked it. Name only changed to poco x3 NFC but codename is exactly same name as karna after flashing. Miui dialer and messaging works perfectly . Native call recording works also. No problem. You can buy it ,unlock the bootloader and flash this rom
Hey there, I had the same problem until now.
My device is poco X3 indian , its codename is karna
I have successfully flashed Indonesia rom on my device and locked bootloader
I have got the mi dialler and mi messaging working perfectly fine now
If u are going to flash the fastboot rom make sure to choose the 12.0.7 version and make the flash file folder name simple like " poco " to avoid any issues while flashing .... U can try it out too and share your experiences....
Here are the pictures attached
Thank you

Actually I too flashed Indo and locked bootloder, andn when I checked it made play store uncertified with locked bootlodder , I cant do anything to solve this , so I unlocked the bootloader and flashed back the indian rom to my device, I think the problem is only there for our device ( poco x3 ) , other device doen't seem to have this issue .
Hi,
i recently upgraded the device to the newest version of MIUI and Android 11. The new Android version seems to have some bugs in performance such as the fact that when playing games the device gets heated rapidly.
I would like to downgrade the firmware by flushing an official ROM.
But is that safe? Anyone had the same experience?
Also i am a bit of newbie so please also give some advice on what i have to do. What i have in mind is flashing a previous build like this one:
HMK305G_V11.1.25.0.QGICNXM_v11-10
or this one:
HMK305G_V12.1.5.0.RGICNXM_v12-11
Custom Roms come also with the new Android version?

No particular problem to downgrade. The bootloader must be unlocked and use miflash (more safe) or twrp to flash the rom.
The roms you indicate are not for the Poco f2 pro and are not original roms.
Do you want to downgrade to android 10 with an original rom or install a xiaomi EU rom?

The links above are customs rom.
Here you will find the original(stock) Xiaomi EEA or GLOBAL(better) roms .

Hello, I cant find stock rom for MIUI 12 android 10, can you help? I currently am stuck if fastboot and I think flashing stock rom might help
I can recommend Xiaomi.EU custom rom. Was in a similar situation (not happy with stock miui 12.5 poco version). Unlocked bootloader and installed xiaomi.eu. It's much better. No issues so far.
Hello,
anyone managed to enable any kind of call recording on Poco X3 Pro? I see there is no Indonesian firmware available at the moment, i hope it's only temporary and they'll release it soon, anyone got some information in this matter?
It should be possible to make your system read write able using my script and then simply replace the stock phone dialer apk with the Indonesian one. I'm pretty sure even the X3 NFC one would work on the X3 pro.
@lebigmac
thank you for your reply, however i think that flashing indonesian firmware was way more straightforward and it was possible to relock your bootloader after flashing it. How about your script? is there a possibility to lock BL after messing with system apps?
You mean relock bootloader after making system r/w ? This could be possible. If you're lucky the system will still be r/w afterwards. Nobody has tested this yet. You would be the first person in the whole world to test it.
Yes it's probably easier to simply download Indonesian firmware and extracting dialer app rather than waiting for some random person to upload Indonesian dialer app for you
To be honest i wasn't thinking about extracting the dialer app. I've flashed the Indonesian firmware on european version of Poco X3 NFC and all the functions i need work just fine. I hope there will be the same option will be available for the X3 Pro, if no i'll have to return it, because native call recording is an must-have for me.
Could you please send me the link to the Indonesian firmware (for X3 NFC or X3 Pro)? The version doesn't matter. Thank you.
Please find the link below:

there was even an XDA topic regarding the call recording in Poco X3 NFC.
Does Indian firmware also contain call recorder app or only Indonesian one?
I've been using Boldbeast Android Call Recorder which I purchased through the Play Store a/b a yr ago after switching over to Android 10 and it has been working like a charm since. Just be sure to follow their instructions

Hey, i've dont it on my Poco X3 NFC, that's why i hope it will be possible with the Pro version also. Someone said that you have to be careful with flashing older version of firmware over the recent one (there's something like AntiRollback protection level), however on Poco X3 Global and Indonesian firmware were labeled in different way (version numbers weren't the same). Maybe someone more familiar with the subject will be able to tell you how it is with this ARB?
Can anyone with Indian firmware confirm there's an call recording option?
Another option is flashing the Xiaomi.eu ROM, which has call recording builtin, within the dialer app.

I was able to manually install the Indonesian stock messaging app into the European stock MIUI. I used my systemrw script to mount system as r/w and simply copied the app folder to /system/priv-app/
I tried to do the same thing with the Indonesian dialer app but without success so far.
Have you tried the India ROM? in my old Redmi Note 8 Pro (came with Europe rom) I installed the official India ROM and then relocked the bootloader withouth any problems, I'm like you I like the native call recording possibility, without losing the security that only the locked bootloader provides.
In the poco x3 pro, I'm still waiting 98 hours to unlock the bootloader to test other roms, so please take my words with a grain of salt, I have 0 experience in the POCO. BTW it's India ROM it's supposed to support native call recording, at least in my experience with RN8 pro.

Google dialer has recorder, but will notify the other side when recording.
MIUI dialer has recorder without notifying other side, but may not be in EU official MIUI ROM. Indonesia ROM and Taiwan ROM has MIUI dialer.
MIUI has either MIUI dialer or Google dialer, so should have record call by default.
Hello,
I'm currently using MIUI 12 and I want to downgrade to 11.
Am I right that I need to unlock the bootloader for this? I'm pretty sure there's no way around.
I'm scared that I will loose some banking apps I'm using, like that they notice that I unlocked the bootloader and don't allow the use anymore.
I only want the official ROM nothing rooted.
Any ideas? Can I downgrade without loosing L3 security?
++ edit I'm using a Poco X3 ++

Then you can downgrade with a stock rom using MIFLASH or
install a stable XIAOMI EU rom (play store certified, pass safetynet) which are roms identical to the stock but with additional options and which work better.
