What is the difference between the US version and the international one? ECG and BP is working on both?
Though ECG and BP is not approved by fda right?

I received a Note 20 Ultra (Snapdragon) from a relative residing in the US. I am currently in Malaysia, the Exynos region. If I am not mistaken, the 4G+ here uses a combination of band 3 and 7.
On my note 8 device, using my simcard, my mobile connection would show 4G+ in certain areas and 4G in the outskirts. On the note 20 (Snapdragon) it remains on LTE and never LTE+ / LTE-A.
Would it be possible for me to change my csc from XAA (US) to XME (Malaysia)? If so how?
Or is there a way for me to force the carrier aggregation to occur?

I don't think you can change CSC from American region to non American. Not sure much can be done to enable CA

Exactly. Same as me using my HK version in the USA. No CA, I can't change csc to any usa devices.
What you could do is compare CA combos for all USA devices and see which one closely matches your region and then take it from there.

I think this hardware doesn't have defined Carrier Aggregation combinations used outside from US. Here is listed some supported Carrier Aggregation combinations here if this is same model what you have: https://cacombos.com/device/SM-G988U . You can contribute to webpage cacombo.com/contribute using scat logging method to provide more logs to complete list so then we know.
I think you can change CSC because Qualcomm vs Exynos - complete different device.
Qualcomm version does not support Band 3 (LTE). Only Exynos version supports it.
Hi all. I bought a galaxy watch 4 lte version rose from Uk samsung site and would like to use in Hong Kong. (Coz this version is not available in hk) I have asked the cs from uk samsung site and they said the lte function can only be used with UK carriers because the components in the watch are specified for UK carriers only. But then I have checked the carrier band in both Hong Kong and UK and seems they are using the same lte band. So does anyone know will the lte function work in HK in this case? If not, I may have to return the watch to samsung. Thanks.
Here's the carrier list I found :

Regional locks. A nasty thing indeed. I am going to return my GW4 because of this(no LTE available foir my country). Think about doing the same thing.
I want to buy the galaxy watch 4 classic SM-R895UZSAXAA in India.
I do not know what is the region of this watch. Is it a multi region device?
Will all the functionalities of this watch work in my country (India)?
Don't know answer to your question. But it's not multi region. Its INU region watch.
But I was able to change REGION to MEA (Middle East) on my LTE variant without any issue.

I have ordered the S22 Ultra from the US and hoping to use it in India. Can anyone confirm if the USA Unlocked S22 Ultra will work on Indian SIM Carriers? I have also read that Samsung Pay and Samsung Pass stopped working under such situations in last year's S21 Ultra. If anybody has any insight on this topic and solutions for it, please post them on this thread.
For curiosity may I ask reason to import from USA when this time India have Snapdragon already.

Basically through a friend of mine, i was able to order the Tab S8 Ultra 256gb with Keyboard and S22 Ultra 256gb (unlocked) for $1900, whereas the same would cost $3000 in India.
The samsung s22 ultrabought from usa works on airtel Sim in India. But I am not sure about jio Sim.
BUT THE CALL RECORDING FEATURE DOESNT WORK ON USA MODELS.
The usa models have an extra bandwidth chip installed on the right side corner of phone. That helps the device to work and have better network in low network areas like basement etc.
I personally checked this on iPhone 12 same models with same network jio one usa version and other Indian version. The usa version model was able to receive and make calls buy Indian model couldn't make and receive calls.

That’s the mmwave antenna not a extra bandwidth chip right?

Hi,
does 4G+ work? If that doesn't work it won't support NSA 5G too

Yes, you're right, that isn't a chip; it's an mmWave antenna that enables support for 5G frequencies well beyond the 6GHz range. Besides the US, few/no countries I know of have deployed or even planned on deploying these ultra-high frequency bands, so this antenna is practically useless outside the USA.
I just bought Galaxy S22 Ultra from Samsung US website unlocked, then my work moved me to Kuwait. I purchased a 5G sim card but was never able to connect at 5G speed (my carrier is Ooredoo).
I went back to the store the the sales person took my sim card and placed it in an iPhone and the 5G worked perfectly with a speed of 750.
I called Samsung and they told me that because you have a US version, it should only works 5G in the states.
Any suggestions please on what to do?
Please note that I already checked all basic settings like selecting the 5G network and checked the APN settings for Ooredoo.
Sounds like the bands aren't compatible. What 5G bands is ooredoo using?
This is what I found
Ooredoo Kuwait

The thing is a company like Apple makes only one version of each model that works everywhere in the world but here Samsung make many varieties of the same model that region specific... Unbelievable. I will no longer buy Samsung and will switch back to iPhone.

Just make sure not to buy one in kuwait. They don't have the mmwave bands for the us. So apple does make different models for different markets too. This year just happened to have the 13 series with most bands(not all)

Oh really! I will wait for the 14 pro max anyway and will make sure it will work in both regions before I buy it. Thanks for your reply Erick.

There are two working solutions for S22 Ultra US models at this forum:

What is this? This is a guide on how to enable all LTE and 5G bands on the US or Canadian S22 series phones by going through the service menu. This guide is mostly based on this S20U guide by mellojosh, but has been adapted for the S22U phone...
