I want to buy the galaxy watch 4 classic SM-R895UZSAXAA in India.
I do not know what is the region of this watch. Is it a multi region device?
Will all the functionalities of this watch work in my country (India)?
Don't know answer to your question. But it's not multi region. Its INU region watch.
But I was able to change REGION to MEA (Middle East) on my LTE variant without any issue.

Hello.
Living in France, the Galaxy S8 + does not exist in Dual SIM version. I would like to import it from another country.
My question is what model to buy offering the French language in Android? and also compatible with all French frequencies bands?
Thank you!
Howdie neighboor, just bought it in Suisse :

it's most probably the 955FD. Yes it would work perfectly for French networks. Just be ware when you get it what CSC it has, and maybe update the CSC (firmware) to your country one with this :
XFC Firmware
It will help maybe with better networks , etc...
Just curious where everyone's N20U was manufactured. In the past, some people had phones made in Vietnam, Korea, and China. I wasn't for sure if that had changed. It was handy to track hardware defects sometimes, if they were more prevalent in handsets manufactured in a certain country.
Stare which model you received, where you purchased it, your country, and where it was manufactured. I'll start:
Model SM-N986U1 - US Factory Unlocked
Purchased directly from Samsung.com
Country - USA
Manufactured in Vietnam
Model SM-N986B/DS - UK Factory Unlocked
Purchased directly from Samsung.com
Country - UK
Manufactured in Vietnam
SM-N986W Canadian factory unlocked
Samsung Canada direct
country: Canada
made in Vietnam
SM-N986U T-mobile carrier locked
Country : US
Made in Vietnam
SM N986U - ATT CARRIER LOCKED (for now..)
Country - USA (purchased from Samsung)
Made in Korea
SM-N986U ATT-LOCKED
COUNTRY: USA
MADE:KOREA

Unlocked US variant
Made in Vietnam
Are we going off of what's on the back of the phone versus an app like "Samsung info"?
Back of phone says Vietnam. App says Korea.
SM-N986N (unlocked)
Korea
Made in Korea

I was going off the back of the phone. Odd your app says something different.
Actually my app says Korea as well. So I say we stick with what's on the back of the phone or in the box. My phone and box both say Vietnam.
Bought Samsung UK direct

What does the back of your phone say? Not the phone info app
SM-N986B
Australia.
Back of the phone only shows "SAMSUNG" & IMEI number, no country of manufacture.
Thus, the box says Vietnam, but the Samsung Info app says STH Korea.
Exynos 986b/DS made in Vietnam
SM-N986B/DS
Globe-PH
So almost everyone's is made in Vietnam. Odd that we have two ATT models made in Korea. Not sure why only ATT models are made in Korea, unless those posters were going off the Phone Info App, which seems to say Korea no matter what.
Exynos.
"All" India.
I received a Note 20 Ultra (Snapdragon) from a relative residing in the US. I am currently in Malaysia, the Exynos region. If I am not mistaken, the 4G+ here uses a combination of band 3 and 7.
On my note 8 device, using my simcard, my mobile connection would show 4G+ in certain areas and 4G in the outskirts. On the note 20 (Snapdragon) it remains on LTE and never LTE+ / LTE-A.
Would it be possible for me to change my csc from XAA (US) to XME (Malaysia)? If so how?
Or is there a way for me to force the carrier aggregation to occur?

I don't think you can change CSC from American region to non American. Not sure much can be done to enable CA

Exactly. Same as me using my HK version in the USA. No CA, I can't change csc to any usa devices.
What you could do is compare CA combos for all USA devices and see which one closely matches your region and then take it from there.

I think this hardware doesn't have defined Carrier Aggregation combinations used outside from US. Here is listed some supported Carrier Aggregation combinations here if this is same model what you have: https://cacombos.com/device/SM-G988U . You can contribute to webpage cacombo.com/contribute using scat logging method to provide more logs to complete list so then we know.
I think you can change CSC because Qualcomm vs Exynos - complete different device.
Qualcomm version does not support Band 3 (LTE). Only Exynos version supports it.
Hi all. I bought a galaxy watch 4 lte version rose from Uk samsung site and would like to use in Hong Kong. (Coz this version is not available in hk) I have asked the cs from uk samsung site and they said the lte function can only be used with UK carriers because the components in the watch are specified for UK carriers only. But then I have checked the carrier band in both Hong Kong and UK and seems they are using the same lte band. So does anyone know will the lte function work in HK in this case? If not, I may have to return the watch to samsung. Thanks.
Here's the carrier list I found :

Regional locks. A nasty thing indeed. I am going to return my GW4 because of this(no LTE available foir my country). Think about doing the same thing.
i bring my Samsung Galaxy watch 4 to Hong Kong, i cant use the local LTE. how to enable the LTE.
Million thanks.
Maybe a stupid question: are you shure roaming is enabled at your esim ?
If the watch's firmware does bot include CSC codes for Hong Kong then there is nothing you can do. Unless your cellular operator allows any watches which I think it simply will not happen. Ever.
