Hi guys
I have an oppo r7sf has 1.5ghz Qualcomm 4gb ram.
I flashed project spectrum first, then installed linage os android 9 and mokee os android 9 also.
Both of them wifi didn't work.
I already asked for that here My old post
Then i flashed lower version of android then NONE of them boot up.
I guaranteed that i installed with the same strategy.
Format data, dalvik, cache and system partion at the advanced wipe section.
Next get the rom and installed both rom, root and gapps.
It just hang in logo for 10s and shut down.
Your browser is not able to display this video.
Now even linage os 9 that i flashed before also not booting.
I even not to install either root or gapps or both but the same result
The only custom os i can boot is project spectrum (flashed again XD)
I am thinking of the recovery of this phone.
I flashed almost all version of twrp but only a *third party* one ran.
Link to the post itself The post
Intrestingly, he has almost the same problem as my phone: error 7, all version has dtb error- happened to all *genuine *twrp
Link to recovery that they uploaded: Third party twrp that worked
I also heard that most oppo phones, new or old are not easy to installed custom rom, and if it did, most essential things will not work with full of bugs.
I think i give up on this phone now. It will be put into my S21 ultra 5G box. I will bury it right after my dead dog's location within a week.
I have prepared, you must be fast!

So i own a Samsung p3110 but i followed a Samsung p3100 video tutorial and download the files of p3100 for it and realize my tablet recognised itself as p3100 instead of p3110 . so my p3110 rom files would not work. Will that affect anything?
and apparently i installed cwm with root and installed cm 13 and i check the root and its gone what happened?
lastly i tried to install lineage os on my tablet , the tablet flashed the p3100 lineage rom and it got stuck on the boot animation. i saw that people needed to update cwm to make the lineage os flashing works . so how can i do that or is there any clues or suggestion that my lineage os rom is not working?
i really need your help , i would be very grateful if you could help me . thanks

Hi!
Install TWRP via adb : https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-install-twrp/
By the way, in CM13 the root access can be controlled via "developer options". If you have CM13 already installed, you just need to enable root access in developer options.

if you are on cwm recovery, you only need to download the common twrp as zip. install it with your current cwm and reboot once.
if you have problems with signature verification, you can disable it in cwm settings.

Stock recovery persisting
Even though I got all OKs on flashing recovery, I still boot into STOCK recovery. IMPORTANT QUESTION: Is this recovery file compatible with the PIE UPDATE?
My Zenfone M2 PRO is on Pie since last week, and I unlocked the bootloader recently with Asus official bootloader unlocker. Help is appreciated.

To anyone that is not familiar running media Tek chipsets like I am here is a guide and some info for anyone that wants to flash a custom image and recovery on there doogee s70 lite phone. Before I start.
WARNING !!!!!This will void your warranty and potentially damage or brick your phone. Do at your own risk. If your a beginner look into unlocking your bootloader and rooting your phone before attempting this. To do this you will need to unlock your bootloader I did mine by simply enabling developer options. enabling oem unlock and booting into adb and fastboot from my computer. to get into fastboot first intstall the proper drivers and Android device manager on your computer then in a command prop type "adb reboot bootloader" then "fastboot oem unlock" was that simple for me.
Flashing recovery.
First there is no official or unofficial recovery for the doogee s70 lite yet as far as I know. you can port one for this phone using the mediatek scatter file for this phone . there is a guide here on XDA if you want to go that route. What I tried and actually had work since they are almost identical in specs they both use the mediatek hello p23 soc. I downloaded and flashed the unofficial twrp recovery for the doogee s80 lite and so far so good it has the same issues as the s80 lite with encryption ECT ECT but I had no problem flashing it to the recovery partition in fast boot. And when it does boot up the twrp recovery says "ulefone power 5" don't be alarmed I'm sure it's just another twrp image that has been modified if I remember correctly the maker was "Nemo Nemo" anyways thank you for the twrp port. Also you don't have to flash a custom recovery if you don't want to but now you have the option.
I did everything in fastboot and you will have to use fastboot for flashing a custom version of Android.
Flashing a custom rom/os
Ok I did not know this but this device is project treble compatible if you do not know what project treble is look it up. Anyway you can flash project treble compatible generic Android images on this device. I am currently running the unofficial version of lineage os 15.1 on my doogee s70 lite with no major issues or bugs yet.
Also I have not tested it yet to see if it works but from what I can see so far is that it has enabled the Miracast display option again I'm not sure if it works yet I have not tested it I'm also not sure if this phone will support it hardware wise but I did notice it and tried it with no issues or freezing. I Am planning on flashing resurrection remix and trying it out anyway hope that was helpful for more info check out porting on mediatek devices, check out project treble ,also check out the resurrection remix project and of course the lineage os project thank you.
Help
Hi, what version of the linage os 15.1 did you install? Doogee isnt´t in the compatibility list...
It was phussons unofficial lineage os GSI treble rom.

It was phussons unofficial lineage os GSI treble rom. Also I did have some compatibility issues but I think I flashed a older version of the GSI rom. This phone checks out as project Treble compatible but no one has done any development specifically for it alone. I had the best results flashing and running the phussons project Treble asop Android 9.0 GSI rom I had cell service and everything worked fine the only issue I had was the mediatek engineering mode would not work. From what I understand it has something to do with mediatek and there processor code not being open source don't quote me on that. but because of something like that nobody has done hardly any dev work on this phone and others with media tek soc's.

TI needed to make work miracast. Finally i sold the phone and bought an ulefone armor 6e. That was the solution. Thanks
S80 here, worked using SP_Flash tool to flash twrp and UnofficialLineage18.1(with no GAPPS) IMGs. Used no-verity6 to temporarily gain access to encrypted user partition, reboot into TWRP and factory reset....WHEW... it was about 3 days of fkn around.

Love this ROM right from day 1!
Vache, will you add it to the ArrowOS website?
Will it have updates?
What about OTA, how can we enable it since TWRP does not allow so.

Hey man, yeah there will be updates, more than likely monthly when the new security patch comes out, sooner if there's new features released. As for OTA updates, it won't happen as long as the builds are unofficial. But updating is no problem, just download and flash the update in twrp and reboot
Start of something big? I hope so

Got it to install. The essential part for me is -
Download/Install firmware with the latest version of Moto Flash Tool
After that flashing works like a charm. I will post more updates shortly.
Edit: Boot to system failed :-( with unable to open loop device. I tried it multiple times, all the steps from the start, but unfortunately same error. Does it matter if flash the Android 10 or 11?
I will attempt if I get the same error with omnirom.

Thanks so much for following up. I realized that when I was using the Moto Flash Tool, I was ending it too early. I rebooted the phone after the first "completed" and missed the second phase where it prepares slot b. I truly appreciate your efforts and now running ArrowOS on the Moto G 5G Plus. Thanks so much!

At my request, the same user yurxxl from the 4PDA forum collected this recovery for us.

Guys, even though I had a joint with the "fox", even though I recovered it and put it on the drain, which then on the custom, and stitched the magisk several times, everything loaded perfectly and worked, but when I decided to make the archive below, I stitched the "fox", well, and accordingly I wanted to put the magisk, and figushki, the installation goes fine, but the recovery is not loaded.
I'm just in ....E.
So be careful, I wrote to the author, but I can't even imagine the reason, but it looks like the whole snag is in reassembling the recovery in the magisk, just like the same archive below, also reassembles the recovery, but after that everything works fine.
++++++++++++++++++++
And about the mentioned archive, for whom it is very important to have the newest core, I have collected an archive for recovery.I checked the installation in both twrp and fox, it works fine.Well, screenshots to boot.

PixelExtended was posted in telegram, but the most interesting thing is that it is written that it is assembled on the latest firmware 13.0.7.0, and that it is a global that is distributed through MiPilot, **** else to do something on the 12th android, it is not clear, well, okay.
I took out the boot from there and compiled an archive for recovery, and the truth is that the kernel is now from March
Who is interested, we try
I kept forgetting to write
Guys, I wrote above about the bug with installing a magisk on custom with this recovery, the solution to this problem is the firmware along with recovery and vendor_boot, a special item has been added to the recovery for this.
You can put this
Hello there! Is there any way to keep the recovery after a xiaomi.eu update. It gets reverted to the stock one

As I wrote in the twrp topic, the recovery is in boot, so it will always be changed to stock or custom.recovery in the case of customs during firmware/update.
Just after the firmware /update it needs to be reinstalled again.
The latest firmware from xiaomi.eu already hybrid, it can be completely installed through recovery.
Since we have two ways of firmware, the first is stock-based customs, they are usually put in the active slot, so after the firmware, you just need to re-flash the recovery.
But all customs, such as Evo, are put in an inactive slot, you can understand this from the log in the recovery, in theory, the firmware stock updates should also be put, as the last one is put from xiaomi.eu , I do not know, as I do not want to update yet.
So, if the firmware occurs in an inactive slot, then in this case, after installing the firmware, in the "reboot" recovery point, first switch the slot (which will be visible at this point), then we re-flash the recovery, well, vendor_boot, if we set custom.
I updated the first post, added a new build, the markup was corrected in it, some elements did not match, and most importantly, now the recovery can save screenshots to the SD card, the choice depends on where the backup is selected
How to install it?
Am gonna flash this but before I flash ... can someone tell me if this is with root?
Edit : I flashed it and it worked very good

Do I flash it as fastboot flash recovery or fastboot flash boot
Edit : just flashed it worked perfectly thanks
If I downloaded orange fox do I have to flash stock_kernel in orange fox or not necessary?
Edit : just flashed it worked perfectly without stock kernel
Device : redmi note 11 pro + 5g global (SKCIMIXM) works perfectly on this device
can i flash this recovery as an img file?
I just got my 11E Pro to get MIUI 14 which now have vendor boot as recovery. As expected, the recovery no longer work when trying to flash to boot
(And yes it works normally when I'm on MIUI 13, despite having Global kernel in orangefox)
We need new orangefox for veux once MIUI 14 rolls out
