Guys My nexus 5's battery was fully discharged after that when im try to charge it its just not booting up. Also when i connect it to the PC i can hear the sound of it getting connected from pc speakers but the screen is not powering up. Can anyone plz help me up ?
Edit : When i connect my deive it is shown as QHSUSB_BULK in device manager.
Can you access bootloader? Hold down power button+vol down button together till you feel a vibration... If nothing shows up then
Leave it on a wall charger for 2-3 hours and see whether it boots up or not...
if not, it's most probably a hardware failure... We would be able to do something or the other if you could just reach to the bootloader, if not, it's dead...

QHSUSB_BULK means that your phone is hard bricked.

Yes,April 1st is ended, lol. Unfortunately,if you can't go into recovery or bootloader there is only one way to fix it - to change motherboard.

You can't do anything to fix it.. The motherboard needs to be changed. Your best bet would be to send the phone to a friend/relative living in the US and tell them to RMA it for you. You obviously will need a proper google play receipt to confirm that the order is legit (from playstore)...

Sorry for your loss I just got my new RMA nexus 5 very similar situation, was nearly dead battery put it on my Nokia wireless charger as I do every night awoke to Google and unlock icon, no boot after that no matter what I tried I lost a lot of data as I had not backed up. I freely admit using exposed modules but have never had any issues beyond the occasional reboot (common error if you search). Lucky I have my nexus 4 as a backup but disappointed. Enough about me I wanted to tell you the RMA process could not have been easier if you some how purchased through Google play they will hook you right up. Good luck

Are you still able to start a fastboot flash?
If so (or you don't know) go to the Mi site and download tha stable global rom and try to fastboot flash it.

But can you start the fastboot via Volume Down-Power buttons?
So power down the phone, push Volume Down and keep it pushed.
Then press Power until you see the MI logo.
Release the power button, but keep the Volume down button until you see the Fastboot screen.
If that works, connect the phone to the computer and try again via fastboot flash.

Sorry, i missed that in the opening post.
Most people call it bricked when it is not, i was assuming that in this case too.
Sorry.
In this case i cannot help you, i don't have that info.
When it comes to a hard bricked device, I'll just go to a Xiaomi Service Center in the nearest place around me.
I don't really know about Xiaomi's warranty policy, because they're vague. They don't have a clear policy for rooted devices. For Samsung they will void your warranty when they know it's rooted, but it's not clear in Xiaomi's case. I heard a rumor, though, that rooting doesn't void your warranty on Xiaomi, but if you want to keep to the safe side, do this.
Go to the nearest Xiaomi Service Center in your country, don't forget to bring your warranty card or at least a receipt of your Mi 4i purchase. Take your time waiting for your turn, and then when you're called, go to them and say that your phone won't turn on. If they ever ask you of what happened, just say that you want to update your MIUI version (don't mention that it is rooted), it is successful, but when you want to reboot it, it just shuts down and won't budge.
If you ever asked whether your phone is rooted or not, just say that you don't know anything about root.
How'd you bricked it? Can you explain

the fact is, i have no xiaomi service cnter n my county..
Since you don't have service center. You'll have to unbrick it yourself. First thing you have to find is the download points for the mi4i. I would suggest posting this thread on MIUI forums.

i was flashing a fastboot rom with miflash... before the flashing ends somehow the device got disconnected, from that moment no fastboot mode...
Since the installation was interrupted. The partition of eMMc is probably messed up.
So the only solution you have to get the phone to download mode. Don't hit and try test points. Curiousity kills
Even if you get it to download mode. You must have a partition image. Which can be obtained from someone's working mi4i. It would be a huge image. Somewhat around 16gb so it's not possible to upload such a large file
You can try to get some info from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/yureka/help/question-qualcomm-download-mode-k-t3068040
Hi! I have exactly the same problem. I was trying to find the test points in order to put the phone in fastboot mode. Are you sure this method doesn't work with the Mi4i?

Hey Bro u say their is no led? I also did hardbricked my MI4i ,no fastboot ,no recovery but atleast my phone have fade blinking red light when connecting to chrging.
So,if ur phone have a blinking red notification light then its possible to revive it.
But if no led thn its not.
And possibly if their is no hardware issue then definately led light is blinking.
so please tell ......light is blinking or not.if yes then i wil provide u solution for hardbricking MI4i without touching pin points.
I was upgrading my Xperia TO 5.1 and was flashing recovery. TWRP was flashed but I was not able to flash any zip through it.
I tried unlocking bootloader but nothing happened. I tried this 3-4 times and suddenly my Phone gone blank.
Now the condition is neither LED or any kind of vibration is working. Phone is detected as Qualcomm Qloader 9008. I tried figuring out and found that bootloader is corrupt. Many person having Snapdragon Chipset have same problem. I found EMMC DL Tool which can repair this but in version 5.2.0.r I am getting invalid user error.
Then I tried Tool studio EMMC tool from ZTE but I am getting error while downloading the Hex file. Phone is detected but unfortunately I am not able to fix it.
Please go through screenshot.
Someone please help me to fix. Either using this emmc tool or anyother.
P.S. Went to SC they said to replace MB which will cost around 6500-7500. But I don't think to spend such money for repairing when I can but much better phone in that price segment.
I am not able to post image. Help me. I don't have 10 post count yet.

So, you cannot get into flashmode or fastboot? Power off your phone, hold volume up and plug it into your pc without hitting the power button. Do you get any blue led or quick led flash at all? I'm not sure about your device's condition but I can surely try getting you files from my phone.
Try installing flashtool and see if flashtool recognizes your phone at all.

My friend is using OP6 with stock rom and bootloader locked. He never made any modifications to his phone. Yesterday, he was playing a game and suddenly it went to Qualcomm crash dump mode. After trying several times it was booted in safe mode but crashed again after 10 minutes. I tried to repair it using Msmdownload tool. Everything went fine, tool showed that download was complete. Now, the phone doesn't even turn on. It is just showing black screen from very long time but the notification light is on. I am not even able to go to fastboot mode now. Please help.
Good morning and happy new year( and i guess it didnt start well for your friend) very strange behaviour, maybe you downloaded files for other variant than the phone (64 or 128 or 256 or a6000 or 6003 i dont know i used the tool only with the oneplus one) try to go to qloader mode( if it is like the opo i didnt use it at all ) and try to calm down, put it on charge even if it will not show it and try again that's all i can help with
Edit: just saw the thread about unbricking a'd didnt notice other varient roms only oxygen and hydrogen, be sure that the qualcomm drivers are installed well and try again
Are you sure this isn't a hardware failure?

If you have locked bootloader then it's probably an RMA.
For unlocked bootloader check this:

My phone is also bricked after the update. Phone was stock.
Had a few instances when the screen would become garbled then phone would reboot, sometimes bootloop a few times.
Last time it did it and never came back on.
Had 70% charge, was on FB messenger and phone won't respond to anything now. Tried a few chargers, etc. Will try to start diagnosing tomorrow if I have a chance.
Sounds like there is no fix for this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-xl/help/help-pixel-xl-hs-usb-qdloader-9008-mode-t3574278
Tools not available to public for repair of this. Guess I will see if I can find a new motherboard for mine, or new phone. :crying:
