Is my Gallaxy S10E able to be OEM unlocked? - Samsung Galaxy S10e Questions & Answers

Hello, new to the site.
I have a Galaxy S10E that is locked to Verizon. I would like to use it on T-Mobile. The "OEM unlock" Option is nowhere to be found in the settings, including the developers options.
Is it possible and what would be the steps to unlock my phone?

If the OEM Unlock option isn't there then you can't unlock phone's bootloader.Point.

"OEM unlock" relates to bootloader unlocking. But when you say "locked to Verizon", I'm assuming that you're looking for a SIM/network unlock. Is that correct?

I did not know there was a difference, which probably led to my confusion trying to find an answer. Yes I am looking for a Sim/network unlock, Is that possible? What is required?

Verizon note 5 people... I got into development menu and noticed that allow OEM unlock was a valid toggle option. Did Verizon forget to lock my bootloader? Does anyone else see this toggle in their development menu?? It wasn't there on my Verizon GS6. What do you guys think? I haven't tried OEM unlocking in adb.

No it's a security feature. You still need an unlock code which Verizon won't give you
The Verizon Galaxy S6 5.1.1 update didn't show this option. So why show it on the note 5?
lets see a bootloader screen. i bet its still gonna stay locked lol that is a lollipop feature that you must have clicked before you unlock the bootloader

All that menu does is allow you to unlock the bootloader. That box has to be checked before the bootloader unlock command will work. It doesn't mean that it will unlock the bootloader or that it will ever happen on the Verizon model. It's just an extra step in the unlock process.

Bootloader unlocked?

Can anyone confirm that the bootloader is unlocked? or can be unlocked by the option in dev options, i believe it says OEM unlock or something to that effect.
Yes, OEM Unlock is there
Excellent! Thank you.

Nougat OEM Unlock

I received the 7.0 update yesterday (NRD90M.N920VVRUC3QB9).
I'm Developer Options, I can turn on OEM Unlock, which says "Allow Phone to be OEM Unlocked."
Any chance this means anything as far as root or unlock?
*Giving my hopes up.*
It was there before the update.

In developer options. There's a switch for oem unlock. However it doesn't work like everyone thinks it does

I know that toggle. But nothing happens when it's flipped o or off. So what you mean it doesn't work like everyone thinks?

Everyone wants to think it will do like it does in stock Android where you enable that and then fastboot oem unlock to unlock the bootloader

On Verizon that doesn't unlock the bootloader all it does is prevent the FRP problems when you do a factory reset.. If you factory reset with oem unlock off then you'll need the original Google account to get the phone running again after factory resetting but with oem unlock on you don't need the original Google account it's basically for security against theft and what @tylerlawhon said is also true.

SM - J 330 F OEM unlock missing

As the title say I have a J3 with missing oem unlock button in the dev. options.
I tried the "date trick" from new S8/9 with no function
Any Idea how to unlock the bootlader ?

I am not sure but it looks like your device has a locked bootloader, which means (saddly) that installing a custom recovery and rooting is most likely impossible. But that's from what I have seen online. Maybe some people around here knows things about your model.

Google Unlocked Phone has greyed OEM unlock option

My phone shows unlocked on the official google website, yet the oem unlock option is greyed out. What is the issue with it?
Unlocked probably means Sim unlocked. You need to figure out why it's Grayed out. Samsung uses knox and kg status to block it. From being bootloader unlocked
I don't know if you've read all the other threads....
Which model do you have? If it's Google's "Unlocked" model (the one not made for any particular carrier), you should be able to unlock the bootloader.
I had to connect the Wifi, when I first bought the phone. Until then, the OEM unlock option was greyed & inactive.
