**Xiaomi Mi9 Camera**

my Question is simple and straightforward: if I buy the Mi9 will Gcam use all the 48Mp of the sensor or just 12mp? And if it will only use 12mp will this be because pixel-bining will still work\happen or just because Pixel phones(for which gcam was made) only have 12mp camera and that is the limit? So I will actually LOSE quality compared to Stock cam mi9? Mi8 only had 12mp sensor so I can't just look in that forum for answers. Sony Phones have more MP but they don't support gcam because of the api.
I have only tested Gcam on my MIX 2 and that phone is also only 12mp sensor.
I am pondering at the moment between getting mi9 or s10+.. but price of s10+ is a bit high and from the samples i saw already s10+ doesn't shoot better quality than my s9+ (with zeroprobe's camera mod) since it has the exact same sensors as s9+ only with the ultrawide one added. I have the feeling that mi9 with gcam has the potential to be better than s10 since my mix2 (which has a ****ty single camera) can rival the s9+ with the help of gcam.

It can only read 12mp subsampling pixels (0.8micron). Not 12mp pixelbinning 1.6micron
It's so bad, when you zoom in 2x, it crop to 3mp effective resolution
I don't like this idea
S10+ has poor camera2api, you can't access wide and tele lens, no f2.4 option (f1.5 one is not so clear)

Gcam on Op7 Pro?

I have heard people say it will take a few months to get a working Gcam port for the op7 \(pro).. But if it op7 uses same Main Camera as the xiaomi Mi9, couldn't we just use that apk?

Just hope new sensor like mi9 and oppo reno 10 x
Then gcam will be great but not like p30 pro camers at night

Poco f2 pro and Xiaomi Note 10 cameras

hi xiaomiers i have searched a lot these last 3 days for a compassion between the two phones' cameras (i know note 10 is better) i would appreciate TONS if someone of you that has both phones uploads one or two photos (same ofc ) for me to compare one 108 mp with the note 10 and one 64 mp with the poco f2 pro , like i said i know the note 10 has a better camera but i want to know how much better it is i mean if i can be happy with the f2 pro camera because i love how the screen of the f2 pro looks with out the notch ,plz and thank you

I would not justife the price difference....
Poco is now at 300e....and the camera difference is not noticeable at all... The power for 300e you get is simply unbeatable atm. The macro on poco is absolutely stunning...
Point and shoot poco is on par with flagships....i mean it..

Question Selfie quality bad even with GCam

Hey, I just upgraded from the Redmi Note 5 Pro to the Poco X3 Pro and I just cannot get selfies on the Poco X3 to look good. They should have roughly the same quality, as both phones have a 20MP selfie cam. I already tried out GCam versions by BSG, greatness and Parrot043 (whose GCam I used before) and still, selfies have much more detail on the RN5 Pro.
Any suggestions?
