I just bought my poco x3 pro 8gb and realized there is no unlocking animation when i open it with finger scanner or password screen just opens immediately without any effect or animation. There is no problem with closing animation. How can fix it ?
There's no animation for unlocking by fingerprint and a little and poor animation with password.
Poco use the "Poco Launcher" and there'a differences between "Mi Launcher" by Xiaomi.

Hey Guys,
since i installed OB6, my Screen-on, Screen-off and Lift-up-Display Animations are gone. It just instantly pops up. Do you have any idea why?
Yeah I noticed this as well, I'm on 9.0.2 stable OOS, setting in display settings for screen animation doesn't seem to exist either.
Yeah I also have this issue, is it supposed to be like this? Does everyone have this? I'm on stable oos 9.0.2
Yup having the same issue too maybe this is a feature?

I think its getting fixed in the next releases, lets just wait. Seems like everyone has it so they should have noticed
Can you guys also notice this? Its very slight, but on the lockscreen, when you are on the screen to enter your pattern, when you successfully enter your pattern (or a successful fingerprint recognition), does the fingerprint icon float up properly? mine appears to disappear behind a invisible box after moving up a bit, it just seems to get cut off, rather than floating further up and fading away as it should

yeah here too, they probably messed something up while updating
It could possibly OnePlus purposely removed it for faster user experience, since Oxygen os is known for how fast their animations are.

I dont think so, it really doesnt look good, more like a glitchy incomplete mess. Also they didnt adress anything in the Changelog or something
My friend just got his OnePlus 6T, and that also has the screen turning off instantly, maybe its a glitch accross both? i agree that, if its a feature, it looks really awful, and hopefully it gets addressed
Hey guys something else I'm noticing, does closing the camera app by pressing the home button look a little more glitchy than closing any other app? (Eg whatsapp?) It doesn't seem to fade, it sorta moves down then dissapears, just looks wierd
Hi,
Does anyone know how to disable the new fingerprint unlock animation on the Mi Mix 2S?
It seems to be a system launcher update, the changelog says: "Fingerprint unlock works with an animated effect now!" The exclamation mark seems to indicate they find this excting, but I do not. Whereas it felt crisp and fast to unlock, there's now a perceptible wait as the bloated icons sluggishly come into view after unlock.
I have tried disabling animation effects in Developer options (I had most turned off anyway) but can't seem to find a way to stop this.
Thanks for any help.
it might be built in into the launcher? If you use the app drawer, you can give a try to the Poco Launcher, it is well integrated with miui
The subject should be disabled, not developed. Brain not in gear!
I did use Poco for ages, then went back to stock once it offered grids of 5 icons.
Perhaps I am heading back to Poco... I can find no option in the launcher itself.
Can the find x2 pro hide notifications until face is recognised? But NOT unlock the device until fingerprint is recognised?
thanks!

the iPhone unlocks the device when the face is recognised.
but the oppo shouldn't, as its not secure with face unlock. so i'd like to see notifications content when the face is recognised but the phone then still needs the fingerprint reader to unlock and go to the home screen.
Not quite sure what you alluding to, and guess you will have tried 'Privacy' 'Lock Screen'?
I have recently been with the Poco F2 Pro with MiUI 12 (I never used MiUI 11 with it) and I noticed that on the lock screen it has a gray filter that when unlocking disappears, it is a bit annoying, does anyone know if it is possible to disable it? It is not for ewl dark mode or anything, I tried to search for everything and could not find any option regarding this
PS: sorry for my english
Are you sure it is not due to light for fingerprint scanner?

It is not the light, it is a filter that covers the entire screen very dim
True it kind of looks like a pixel filter. My guess is to save battery life for those wanting to look at the clock? Just a guess though!
No one knows why it's there.. Only appears when fp is on.. And it's not related to light because other xiaomi devices doesn't have it. At least past devices.
