I'm So Confused About Custom Rom Installation to Poco X3 NFC 128 GB - Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC Questions & Answers

I have a few questions about custom roms. My first question is which rom I should pick? If the rom stable, fast and supports picture in picture mode that's good enough for me. Most of the people were recommending Arrowos so I think I'll use it. But my other questions are which kernel I should use? Should I use stock kernel or f1xy? And should I use supersu or magisk? What is the best way to install Arrowos on my Poco X3 NFC 128 GB device?

Question Suggestion for Custom ROM, without GAPPS, with MicroG.

Hi,
I would like to install a Custom ROM, preferrably a bit customizable but fast, without GAPPS - with MicroG onto my Poco X3 Pro.
Do you have a suggestion, which ROM to use?
Use case will be phone, Video, youtube, music. No gaming.
I would prefer older ROMs if possible if these are more stable and more refined.
Hi, i didn't try but the /e/ rom is released. It's Android R.

Redmi note 10 pro

Hello guys. I have flashed "Miui by pappi54" rom on my redmi note 10 pro. All works fine, but I want to get root. I tried with magisk 24.1 but when I'm flashing it in orangefox recovery, phone stucks on boot logo. Is there any other way to get root? Thanks
The redmi note 10 pro comes with miui... Why did you flash this other miui "by pappi54"?

This version is 13.0.2
Official version is 12.5
But 13 is in beta dude.. the redmi note 10 pro is in the support list for the official global launch of miui 13. till then, either use a stable custom rom, or stick with 12.5. using a beta, and especially a beta of miui (which is well known for bugs in its stable releases) is not a good idea..
This may also be the reason as to why you're unable to root it, and you may also face many other issues.
I recommend that you switch back to miui 12.5, or even 12 as 12.5 has a couple of bugs too. If you want a custom rom, dotOS 5.2.1 is an android 11 rom with a ui quite similar to miui, while also bringing all the benefits of a custom rom, if you'd like to give it a go, here's a link:
dotOS | Loading...
A beautiful custom ROM based on AOSP, which endeavors the essence of Simple, Unique, Secure.

Thanks a lot
Now to answer you're original question (if you STILL want to give that a go),
Have you tried kingoroot? It's not always successful, but it is possible that it can one-click root your phone.
Another option is to try flashing magisk v23, then update it through the magisk app, as i had some issues flashing magisk v24 on my galaxy j5 running android 11.
You could also try using supersu, or some other rooting alternative instead of magisk.

Looking for a kernel for my Poco X3 NFC

So, i just got into custom roms and kernels because of my wish to move away from the bloatiness of MIUI, but i lked how it looked and flowed, so i installed oneOS, since then i've been thinking "is it possible to push my performance and/or battery life farther?"; i have been searching for custom kernels to do so, do anyone have any suggestions?
assuming you're using OneOS which is MIUI based android 11 then there's no custom kernel for that, because Xiaomi didn't release the source for MIUI A11 kernel
