Question Brand new owner - Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro

Hi guys I'm new here and soon to buy an x3 pro and I'm so overwhelmed with all the stuff u can do but its confusing can anyone set me straight because I wanna have A plan as soon as I get the phone. Any advice?

Make up your mind by what you need.
You can do a lot of things to the phone, but you don't have to do everything.
Maybe first write down what function you want from the phone to figure out what is needed.
Straightforward plan : First use the phone as it is.
If you find it not fitting your need, you can ask how to achieve what you need and what you want.

check this site, (notebookcheck.com) you will find GREAT information in this site, it can help you choose your next phone

N00b needs help! (be nice we were all N00bs once!)

So i have made the upgrade from the HTC touch 3g to this lovely peice of kit! Bought it on eBay and it is currently branded and locked to Vodafone. Here are my few questions!
First of all! The bastard I have bought it off seems to have passworded the device and he doesn't know what the passcode is! How do I get past this little pickle?
Secondly. I understand one of you lovely people have a sim unlock proggy for this phone. How easy is it to unlock from vodafone UK to Orange UK? The guys in the phone shops would charge me £30 to unlock it!!!
Thirdly... can anyone recommend a good ROM to flash it to? I want to debrand the phone but I want the standard (or as close to it) original ROM.
Please go easy on me! We all started out life as n00bs! Any help would be much apprechiated!
Being a noob is a good reason to ask many questions - but not an excuse for such a poorly written post.
Please read the forum rules - especially points 1 & 3.
3. Post only using a clear subject and message.
1. Search before posting
However - i'm in a good mood today so:
To remove the passcode simply hard reset the phone (read the wiki for instructions)
To remove the sim lock look here
To choose which rom you want - please read the rom forum - there are lots to choose from and you will probably want to try a couple before you decide which one to stick with.
Ahh many thanks for starting me off and massive sorry for the poor post! I think i was in a rush when I received the package to get it up and running!
welcome n00b

Motorola Q9 ROM Cooking

Hello guys,
i know this smartphone is old and all but i see there is still a lot of things going on and i would like to get more into it. I'm especially interested in rom cooking for this device but i can't seem to find much information.
Any usefull information that i could use as a starting point? Software that i should look into? Documents concerning this specific model?
Thanks
Wow, 50 views and not a single reply. The Q must be a dead system uh?
Well, i'm still hoping for something to come up

[Q] androd

hi i know its probably hv been answerd i want to install android on my htc hd2 t-mob uk pls some one let me easy to install thanks
I'm not even going to hint to you where to find it. Why? Because you obviously lack reading skills and common sense man. My best advice to you would be this:
Just be glad you are able to use a cell phone and walk at the same time. You are the the type of person that needs to be trying to install anything on a device.
Anyone that thinks I'm being an ass here, get over it. It's not like the information he is looking for is hidden content on the site or anything. I have no sympathy for people like this.

[Q] I need help so I dont brick my phone!

I just got an HTC HD 2 today from a friend, and it already has a version of android on it. I dont know how to replace the android files without messing up the phone. Can someone help or walk me through this?
i know this aint help but have u tried the hd2 section
also is your name from coheed and cambria lol!
I have looked through the section and I cant find anything on how to replace the files. Yes it is. The greatest band ever!
sry i dont know anything about the hd2 and yes sir you are correct i just saw them in dallas for the neverender tour 4 hours of nothing but coheed it was amazing my 3rd show i may add new orleans, little rock, and dallas!
you shld be able to ask the same question in that thread im sure someone will be able to help
If your friend was so generous to give you that nice piece of hardware I´m sure he can guide you to replace the Android OS with that Microsoft crap. Your friend has invested some time and energy in the modification of his phone so he would be interested in having you enjoying it, too, wouldn´t he?
To be able to help it would be useful to know if android rom is nand (ie has replaced the original wm6.5 os) or is running from sd card.
When you boot up the phone, does magldr load?
I would suggest you do go over to the hd2 forum and look at the sticky threads, tey have all the info you will need to change/update android to something newer or even change os completely to say wp7?
If your droid is nand, it is very simple to update, just head over to the HD2 nand forum
Cheers.
Thank you everybody for being kind and not throwing noob slanders at me. The friend who gave me the phone actually bought it off of someone who put android on it haha so this nice phone is a hand-me-down for sure.

[Completed] First timer, need a walk thru of sorts.. Basically i bought a sprint note 4 sm-n910p

And did a factory reset. When I did this, of course it had reactivation lock on, asking me to login to the Samsung account last used on device. of course I don't have, because well I bought the phone thinking I was getting a good deal :/ anyways, like I said im definitely new to all of this and to my understanding although it was a SPRINT device, it is possible to convert it to be used with a TMOBILE sim card and service.. I was told that rooting the device was what I needed to do inorder to use my TMOBILE service on the device. Which is exactly what ive been searching these forums and trying to get a straight answer on how to. Now the next problem is, I decided to check the IMEI and as you may have guessed, yes is indeed bad. It says reported lost/stolen. I know this also is only another hurdle on my road to happiness. Now, my question is, How do I go about flashing to a new IMEI, rooting my device, and going gsm to become tmobile compatable??? Please help somebody, thanks for reading all this I really am in a pickle and really don't want to be out the 300$ I paid for the phone. thanks
Hello Dear ,
We sorry we can't help u , in ur case the device its stolen & our forum rule its strictly about this kind of problems , what i can suggest u, just back ur device to sprint company if they see can be solved they will ok ,
