Question S21 Plus Callers can't hear me - Samsung Galaxy S21+

Hello I'm on the T-Mobile S21 Plus and when I make calls people can't hear me but I can hear them... I heard this is a problem and I am on the latest update. Restarting helped for now but was curious if anyone knew a solid fix? Thanks so much! P.S. I am connected to my Galaxy watch Active 2 and I am on U1 firmware as well I dont think it's the watch as it's not routing my audio to it just thought I'd mention every detail I could

Call Quality Cuts in and Out with New S7

I did some research, but to no avail I only see people having issues with video sound issues with the S7 on Nougat. Anybody having call audio cutting in and out with their devices?
r u on volte?
I did use VoLTE to see if that would fix the issue on the device, but it did not get rid of it. It is a family member's phone. I will wipe the cache partition and factory reset on thursday.

Did you ever resolve the issue? I bought an AT&T S7 for my GF. It's running on straighttalk. She can hear callers fine but the other end can not always hear her......at times they only get every other word. Not sure it's apples to apples....just wondering if the reset made a difference.

Verizon Note 20 ultra Verizon Service issues

Anyone on Verizon have service issues with the note 20 ultra? My phone randomly disconnects from service. No 5g or 4g, just an X on the signal bars. Tried soft reset and factory reset. Tried safe mode and clearing cache in recovery. I even got a replacement from Verizon and the same thing. Probelm started after CTLC update to.
Try replacing the sim card.
Double check all applicable settings... yes those pesky critters like Access Point Names.
Try getting advanced tech support from Verizon.
Try a network reset vs a factory reset next time.
Clear system cache occasionally as you make changes. Can't hurt and sometimes fixes erratic behaviors.
Try in safe mode as well.
Firmware maybe buggered up, a reflash may be in order. Restore to previous version.
This is one of the reasons I always disable auto updates on my stock Android...

Tried a factory reset and network reset previously. Did the samething on my replacement which I got last Saturday. I will try the advanced test support. It's been good the last couple of days.

Question Issue with 4G on Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, non Samsung phone

I have just received the 4G model through today and tried to connect to my phone to copy the EE plan details over. However it seems it only works with Samsung phones. I have a Pixel 5, is there a workaround anyone knows of?
Many thanks!
Same issue here too but I'm using Oppo. Would have thought that with it being Wear OS over Tizen that the cellular would be opened up to more than just Samsung phones. Very frustrating really.

I've ended up returning mine and getting the bluetooth version instead. Only possible workaround I found was someone mentioning was setting up the esim through a compatible Galaxy phone, and then setting up on the non-samsung phone. Not sure if this would work, and sounds like too much hassle!
Christ... cheers for the tip! Might give it a go!
You need to borrow a Samsung phone to do it.
But tbh, it does not work either at this moment.
I think the Watch is too recent and they can't recognize it yet.
I'm going to wait and see if they remove restrictions, if not then I'll wait for another watch.
Just for information, I successfully got eSim working with a Galaxy A40, factory reset without clearing eSim and pairing it with a OnePlus 7T Pro.
French network.
I use the GW4 LTE with my Mi 11 Ultra and eSim is working fine on the watch. Was easy to set up.
Didn't need any Samsung phone at all for the watch.

Was this on EE in the UK? Is this a network specific issue?

I also used this procedure, I did it with my pixel 5 and it works fine with a Galaxy A51. French network (Orange).
One restriction : VOLTE must be activated with the sim card in Samsung phone, else, GalaxyWear displays error message.
Don't understand this.
I couldn't pair my watch with my Huawei phone, but that was because of the known Huawei block.
I've therefore decided to pair with another of my phones a Motorola.
No issue at all loading a vodafone eSim onto the watch (payg) with the Motorola having a giffgaff sim, also payg.
I only want to use the Vodafone eSim to keep me connected when out of Bluetooth range (apps and txt messages from my phone), and for voice calls I simply forward on when not answered to the Vodafone eSim number.
This way I don't need an expensive contract sim plan and add on watch sim plan.
I just bought the Galaxy watch 4 44mm and LTE activation is done easily with Mi 11x device Jio SIM(India),
I have not faced any issue, I had to wait for 5-10 minutes to open the Jio ESIM activation page to open.
Now it's working perfectly fine.
I have not used any Samsung device for this process

Question Call ended / cancelled

I just updated to 6.0.0.122 and now everytime I try to make a call it hangs up right away and says call ended. In the call log it says cancelled. I'm using at&t and it was working fine before the update. Any ideas? Thanks!
Try switching the at&t sim to the second sim.
Thanks for the reply, but that did not work....

Try resetting your network settings and see if it helps. Also, which region/local are you from, as the device isn't available outside of China?

If you have a different network sim, try it with Magic V or put the AT&T sim in another phone to see if the problem is with the device software or the network.

Thanks for the reply. I put the at&t sim in my s22 ultra and it works fine... So I'm guessing not the sim. I have another at&t line that I have out the sim card in both phones and it's the same. Works well on s22 ultra but no calls on the honor. It's weird, internet and texts works, just no phone calls.

Hi,
Aren't you able to downgrade to the older version?
If your carrier hasn't provisioned VoLTE via the SIM for your phone, then you will be able to connect to the fastest available data network (ie 4G or 5G) for streaming, downloading, etc., but voice calls will drop to 3G. VoLTE enables calls to be made over 4G or 5G. The problem is that US carriers are actively shutting down all 3G networks, so you will have data, but not voice unless VoLTE is enabled.

Question Calls drop after 29m50s

Running xiaomi.eu 13.0.8 stable. All my outgoing calls end at 29m50s.
I have tried calling different numbers so not a problem with the called number. I have put my Vodafone UK SIM in my S22 Ultra and that's fine, but any call I'm on just terminates at 29m50s.
Has anyone else got this problem? Hopefully we'll see an update soon which may fix it.
this could just be your carrier having a call duration restriction, have you tried your sim card in another device to rule out carrier issue?

Yes. It's just the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. With my Vodafone SIM and EE SIM, they both disconnect calls, and in an iPhone, S22, Pixel, etc. they don't
Upgraded to 13.0.9 and still got the issue
Can anyone else try a call and see if they have the same problem?
Has anyone managed to make a call longer than 29m50s?
Just performed a factory reset and same issue.

Thanks. Good to know it's not every device. I assume you're running xiaomi.eu 13.0.10?
I know it's not my SIM or my network, so it must be the phone, I just don't know what.

yea 13.0.10 eu.
no idea. the only thing i noticed is a drop of quality due the spot where i am, constantly changes between 3g, 4g, 5g depending on where i am. but making it 4g only fixes.
So I formatted/wiped and went back to 13.0.8
Managed a 31 minute call
Installed 13.0.10, didn't sign in to anything, update any apps, etc.
Call disconnected at 29m50.
Time to give up with this phone I guess.
Hi,
I'm experiencing the same issue and it's been behaving this way since day 1. I've tried two different SIM cards. I've even gone as far as factory wiping the phone and even disabling VOLTE and using 3G for calls but it hasn't helped. I'm running on the stock CN ROM.
I want to return the phone, but I doubt I'll get it refunded in full since I've been using it for so long and I'm unsure what Giztop would do and how I'd be able to prove to them it's faulty. v13.0.11 was just released recently and it's not helped either.
I've decided I'm going to wait for the Vivo X90 Pro+ or Samsung S23U and be done with this phone since this issue is a dealbreaker as I tend to make a lot of calls since I also use this as both my personal and work phone. I'm kind of disappointed and am going to miss the camera a lot.
