Firmware update in mi9t - General Questions and Answers

I flashed a custom rom(dot os 5 1.3) by replacing the stock rom which is miui12 with android 10. But now I saw the official os was upgraded to android 11. So my question is do i need to upgrade my firmware and if so how to do it while using the dot os. I'm all new to this stuff.

I want try this stock ROM.
I don't know which stock rom I had befor I flash CM 11, but I bought my phone in UK on Amazon.
Is here some simple guide how to restore stock rom on my phone and then update via OTA?

System Updates with Different Rom

A while back I installed an Official ROM on my S7 (I had the Greek Rom and I installed the UK one in order to get Android 8. I wanted to know if I still get system updates (since its an official Rom) and of not, would I have to install a newer version of the Rom to get any updates.

Can i flash directly the rom even if my firmware is 6.0?

I have the chinese edition mate 7 (MT7-TL10) and it was running the marshmallow android update 6.0 (the official chinese ROM), but then i tried to flash the stock firmware and the phone got bricked, so i had to search for an android 6.0 rom, and i only found it on the international version. When i flashed it, the chinese apps were gone, but then i opened the file manager and the internal storage of the phone didn't show the 32 GB it has, but it showed 3.52 GB instead. Does anybody have the UPDATE.APP file I need so I can fix this problem?
