[Q] Revert to stock recovery XT1039?

Hi,
I decided a while back to give Cyanogen mod a try on my Moto G 4G (XT1039). After finally reverting back to the stock firmware (4.4.4) from a backup I am left with a rooted phone and a custom recovery (TWRP).
Lollipop will be rolling out shortly and I would like to emjoy the update. As I understand I will not be able to update OTA due to TWRP.
What you be the best way to update to the stock Lollipop once it is released?
Is it best to return to the stock recovery? And especially how?
Or would it be best to wait for a flashable stock Lollipop zip to be posted and flah it through TWRP?
Thank you for your advice.
Back to the STOCK
If you want move back to the STOCK ROM - firstly download it here.
Secondly follow this instructions here.
I've rooted my XT1039 once and then I moved back to the STOCK and the OTA 4.4.4 for repair 10 class microSD came. I don't have TWRP so that isn't exactly the same situation. I just have unlocked bootloader.
PS: I'm chacking System updates five times every day

[Q] Move from LolliGPE to stock 5.0.1(rooted)?

I'd like to move from LolliGPE to the new stock verizon 5.0.1 rom and firmware. Is there anything I need to watch out for or any particular order? I'm currently still on the 4.4.4 firmware. Thanks
You should probably flash the firmware and radios before you flash any Lollipop Sense ROM

[Q] How do I upgrade stock 4.4.4 (EU) to 5.0?

I recently soft bricked my phone (Moto G 2013 falcon) downgrading it from Cyanogen 12 to stock 4.4.4 (Argentina), so after many tries I ended up booting in stock 4.4.4 Europe retail (210.12.40.falcon_umts.EURetail.en.EU).
I try to upgrade that to 5.0, but the OTA update fails in the middle of the installation. Then I tried to download the OTA file manually and install it via stock recovery, but it fails too.
Is there any other way? Or do I have to convert it to 4.4.4 stock Brazilian or some other variation with more OTA files available?
Thanks in advance,
Are you unrooted, running stock recovery, and stock ROM?
Yes: unrooted, stock recovery, stock ROM. My bootloader is unlocked though, so I can easily root the phone or change the recovery.
I already tried with a (supposed) official 5.0 OTA for Europe using stock recovery, but it didn't work ("update failed" or so).
I have the Telus xt1032 8GB. Not sure if it runs or you need the same Telus firmware but I was able to flash back to stock 4.4.4, update Motorola apps, and take the OTA update via wifi. I did this three times on my xt1032 in the past 2 weeks without any problems.

Rollback for MIUI or straight from lollipop

I am thinking of trying out MIUI on my OPO. I have lollipop on there now. I know that MIUI is 4.4.2 based and will need a 4.4.2 modem. So my question is do I need to do a full flash back to OPO factory (4.4) and then go to MIUI or can I do straight there from LP?
Thanks!
Flash CM11S then without rebooting flash MIUI rom....you can also flash MIUI directly on top of Lolipop rom (clean flash tho) and manually flash modem firmware via fastboot...

Flashing new OTA update on rooted MotoG3

Motorola has released new OTA update of 371.4 MB in India.
I read that since I am a rooted user I must not try to flash this update.
I would like the help from xda to install these updates. Should I install stock firmware 6.0.1 first?
Two ways to do it
1. Flash stock ROM 6.0from factory firmware link. Allow ota to download and phone should upgrade to 6.0.1
2. Flash the 6.0.1 stock ROM which is made available in factory firmware link. -Update: 6.0.1 is already the updated system with the new ota of 371mb.
Option 2 is more convenient.
While upgrading to mm 6.0 via ota, on my rooted phone I had tried flashing the stock recovery and cleaning the root. but it did not help and I landed with a soft bootloop. The ota checks for the original fingerprint of the stock system which is why you need to be on stock firmware for the ota update method.
You need stock recovery and stock firmware.
